  1. Mercenary healer parses objectively lower in any format to at least one of the healing ACs --- this is FACT from the theorycrafting threads that appeared shortly after 4.0 dropped. I can pull 6k-7k sustained HPS easily on my Sorcerer under the right conditions and I think there is one Merc in the world who has cleared 6k HPS, in a truncated arena match where burst and lucky crits were at play. You might be able to have individual success against teams with moderate damage profiles, but you will whither like every Mercenary against the truly great teams that focus and force you to pull numbers your class isn't capable of. It sucks, but this is the "balance" BW has given us.
  2. It's pretty brutal getting Republic recognition anywhere, I wouldn't take it personally Bamm.
  3. Just a heads up to posters --- I am still updating the thread, but I recognize that it has fallen behind. I will try to update it early next week once work slows down.
  4. The spreadsheet has been updated. Tomorrow's combat changes look significant enough to make a new leaderboard (and a new thread you savages).
  5. It's not that difficult to post your screenshots and/or congratulate your fellow PVPers. I have no plans of a separate leaderboard for Team Ranked parses, but if a Team Ranked (or Solo Ranked) parse makes the top 5 for a given Advanced Class, I will designate it in the "Match Type" column. Please include this additional information in the body of your submission.
  6. Real life was busy, so I hadn't had a chance to update it. It should be accurate now.
  7. The same problem exists here, especially since 4.0. I think it's game-wide.
  8. Very nice job! If you don't mind me asking, what stats are you running in Corruption/Seer spec?
  9. I might have to resurrect the "Best PVP Players" thread next.
  10. I'm going to allow it, but I will make a distinction if it's a single round rather than a full arena. Alternatively, I can try splitting 8v8 and 4v4 records like the Harbinger and Jedi Covenant PVP threads. What do you all think? As a friendly reminder, please only submit screenshots from matches that occurred on the Shadowlands. If you see a screenshot where you recognize many people from another server, please let me know. This rule isn't meant to be snobby, it's just more interesting and fun to compete within our community. I will try to have the post updated by the end of tonight. Thanks again to everyone for their contributions.
  11. I know this thread is about Operatives and Scoundrels, but I have quick question about how this method might apply to Sorcerer and Sage healers. To my knowledge Force Armor is not affected by Critical Rating. Is there a way we can adjust this method to account for the zero benefit Critical Rating provides to Force Armor? Additionally, Force Armor is rate-limited by the Force Imbalance debuff. Alacrity will allow you to cast more Force Armors in a shorter period of time, but it does not increase the amount of Force Armors you will cast per-fight. This seems to make the Alacrity/Crit augments not as appealing for that move in particular. I'm just interested what your thoughts on this are, I'm not trying to hijack.
  12. You're correct. I missed that he was iterating over every possibility, one slot at a time. My apologies.
  13. @ ichebem It's actually not that simple because your model ignores diminishing returns. You cannot assume that the stat gain you receive from your first Critical augment will be the same as the second augment. It doesn't work like that. For a better understanding of how your stat gain tapers off as you hit diminishing returns, consult these graphs.
  14. Thanks for the submission. I agree that many of these matches are just placeholders to fill out the leaderboards as people experiment with the class and stat changes. Once people are in full Exemplar gear and the PVP min-maxing is more understood on a per-class basis, we'll see some crazy performances, at least relative to the numbers we were used to in 3.x. Keep the submissions coming folks!
  15. I think we would all appreciate a response on this. We had a commitment from the developers that S6 rewards, with the exception of top 96 titles, would be Bind On Legacy. Please address.
  16. I suspect "Old Man Hoppin" will somehow find his way into the top 5 Mercenary parses.
  17. The spreadsheet has been updated with the entries submitted so far. Thanks for the entries everyone! If you look in the lower lefthand corner of the spreadsheet, you'll see there are three separate sheets: DPS Records, HPS Records, and Protection Records.
  18. Highest PVP DPS Matches on Shadowlands (4.0+) Introduction The purpose of this thread is to archive the various PVP records and achievements of players on the Shadowlands. While many players don't concern themselves with the pursuit of high numbers, it is interesting to see the relative performance and capabilities of classes as we move into a new patch cycle. For this content cycle, I have moved the leaderboards to a public Google Doc for easier viewing and maintenance. There you will see three separate spreadsheets; one each for DPS, HPS, and Protection. I intend to update this post periodically to reflect the content of the Google Doc, but you will want to access the Google Doc for the most up-to-date records. As always, your submissions should be posted here. Good luck! Shadowlands PVP Records Google Document Rules and Notes - All matches must take place after 4.0 (October 20th, 2015) - Shadowlands server only. Matches from other servers do not count, even if you have transferred to the Shadowlands - No pre-mades of four DPS vs four healers - Include your Discipline if your Quickbars are hidden. Also include the patch if possible. - A new thread will be created if Bioware introduces a patch which drastically alters combat during the 4.x patch cycle. - No acid farming will be accepted for healer parses. This is impossible to enforce, so please be honest Acknowledgment(s) Much of this post and its structure was borrowed from Hoppin's 3.x PVP DPS thread. Thank you for your contribution and maintenance.
  19. Title explains itself. I'm not expecting it this late in the game, but a response would be nice. For future seasons, if you want the rewards to incentivize ranked participation, the full reveal of rewards should take place much earlier in the season.
  20. If we're tracking healing, I had this match the other day.
  21. People just assume that Sorc heals are getting buffed in 4.0 because they want something to cry about. Yes, Sorcs are massively OP right now in the live version of the game. Since we can't talk in specifics or confirm anything about credible information from "other sources" here, I'll only say that there is no evidence of a projected increase to heal values for Sorcs in 4.0.
