Pressing X allows you to come to a complete stop and hover.

I tried logging into the game, and the 300+mb download began. Then it reported an error, and stopped. No choice but to exit. So I try again, and then it would say updating but no progress bar. Tried running fix launcher, and attempted to log in again. Now it is over 11gb to download.

I am as well. Tried logging into the launcher several times. I either get a message that login service is unavailable, or that patch process failed.
