  1. My first MMO and if this is what they are like, it will certainly be my last. Hearing from players who finally reached level 50, that it was not monumental and the game just dies - no more experience, no legacy points, and no more story. That was disheartening in itself and I am quite glad I am dragging my feet and taking my time to get there. Now this Character Transfer thing. Instead of giving a choice as to which server to go to, that was decided for us. People are losing their toons because of multiple servers going into one and only being allowed to have 8 slots. I lost half of my names during my transfer so now my 'family' isn't so much a famly anymore. Now after trying to get names that don't already exist out there, I am quite disgusted that my comfortably populated server has been transferred to a server that now lists as being 'full' and the other servers that I have to go to for the rest of my characters are quoting 10 minute and 15 minute wait times. I guess I expected too much - I don't mind paying for a game but with having limited time available to play, if I am not able to get in when I do have the time, there is not much of an incentive to renew my subscription. Star Wars is such a great story, it's a shame that once again LucasArts and their partners don't have a higher regard for their subscribers (My spouse was quite disappointed with the downfall of Star Wars Galaxies). This title brought some hope and piqued my interest and gave us a game we could play together as well as independently. Maybe I am being too hasty at giving up on MMOs and should heed the advice of the more seasoned MMO players whom I encountered through flashpoints and heroic quests and give Blizzard a try.
