I had thought they weren't going to have any lockout's on SM Ops... Curious to why the decided to go to Daily... Don't get me wrong not complaining, daily is better than weekly.
Life doesn't change to make everyone equal, nor should this game. People who spend the money for "modern hardware" and time to master the class should be better than those that don't.
PERIOD
Actually, it makes too much sense to roll back to the last stable version. (Edit) seeing Eric's post, i guess its not that easy.)
They really make it hard to recommend this game to friends with a clear conscience.
I also don't see any Devs coming in here to tell us about the decision. They say that want open communication, but when we do try and tell them how we, the paying customers feel, it falls on def ears.
But that's a matter for a different topic.
My biggest complaint is while they have been talking about this shiny new object, they failed to mention the cap and delay in purchasing it at all. When they knew full well it was going to be in there, The issue could have been avoided with a little prior notice.
It won't be hard, just expensive. To take each, Armor, mod, and Enhance out is probably going to cost you 7,000 credits each. That's a good chunk of change, But otherwise doable.

•We want to look at global DPS. Some classes have exceeded the baseline values we setup. We took the opportunity to get the classes back to the baseline values we wanted (i.e. DPS numbers were creeping up, we toned it down). Players at level 60 will do similar DPS as current level 55s while the 55s in 3.0 will do less DPS than current 55s.
It says nothing about gear, just that level 60 players will do about as much dps as 55's do now. SO WHAT'S THE POINT. I do that much dps now.
It's like a treadmill, I can run my *** off but not go anywhere.
