  1. Um considering we're getting a rural temple complex already I think wasting development resources on Tython would be counter productive (including on a profit sense) at this point of time. Something we haven;t seen yet in strongholds would be wiser on a business standpoint. Due to the IC laws surrounding Manaan I virtually believe a stronghold there is impossible, so i would suggest say, calamari homeworld, etc for your water worlds. but an orbital complex or lava world etc, sure, even a farming world, dantooine.
  2. I'm nto fond of the prestige system as it caters to the unimaginative, but I would not want to cater towards those whose wallets are larger than their brains. Cartel market items being max would just create a new problem, the wallet players would rule prestige, rather than people actually playing the game. it won't fix the problem, just change from trophies everywhere to 400 luxury highseats. I think your suggestion is based on your own wallet, rather than a wish to fix (2nd poster)
  3. That's just one thing I 'll never understand, as previously stated I absolutely adore pvp, but when it comes to a starship or a home, I'd like to make it appear functional IC...especially a ship, cause a slapstick ship filled with fluff...honestly wouldn't last long in a firefight.
  4. Anywhom, they never explain fixes to exploits really....so with finally a half decent patch for pvp coming, we may find they've addressed a few things they are declining to mention. We can only think positive until we know if there's nothing done.
  5. Always use your motherboards install disk for base drivers, then use the update function on those drivers.
  6. Some OS do nto come with USB 2.1/2.2 isntalled, only base 2.0, depending what you're plugging in you may need to downlaod and install 2.2 drivers. He wiped your drives, so the reinstall of stuff you probably missed a few drivers.
  7. he must be.... *looks at a young pretty girl....then looks at same pretty girl 10 years later, hell she's even better!* Then you get the women who have genetically perfect skin, such as Ming-na Wen...who now without any plastic surgery and after what 2 to 4 kids? Looks mroe attractive than she did when she was 20-40, she is currently over the age of 50 and prettier than she ever was and she's always been drop dead gorgeous. Aishwarya Rai, pretty much held a title of prettiest woman in the world from ages 18'ish to 38, and quite justified too. What period did she look best?? Aged 33-36 Lets not forget most those actors who play teens in tv/movies are closer to 30 than they are 20. Why? Because the older more formed body is more attractive, otherwise they'd hire an actual teen or at least 18 year old.
  8. ((NOTE: I know there is cheaters and hackers, but being someone who has been accused of this myself, i'll have to speak on behalf of the falsely accused - there are OTHER reasons why certain things you see may look like hacking.)) or that's someone who themselves are lagging whilst they did the scoudnrel/op role, sentinel speed buff, force speed....- looks exactly like you describe. And people forget a good sentinel/marauder pops their transcendence for the team. People also forget that PVP actually is more lag inducing than anything else in game. You have 16 people, popping more desperately than they would in any op, mashing skills etc. In all factors PVP is more of a system/net drain than anything else. Also, your lag, is rarely judged by server, or your connection. Internet connection has to go through a dozen hubs all unrelated to your ISP and such long before it hits the server, if any one of those hubs or lines has congestion, moldsters etc....your connection will lag despite things at home and server are running perfect. 9 x out of 10 the massive amounts of consistent speed boosts is like two sentinels popping things, vanguards doing storm, sages/sorcs force speeding and a jolt of lag your or their end will make it look jagged every time. Sure their maybe some hackers, but I'm sure the majority you point the finger at are 100% innocent.
  9. I get your angle... But nothing is a must....especially in terms of which strongholds to release. Is utapau less of a choice than manaan? Is kashyyyk less of a choice than say, Alderaan or Dantooine? There's no right or wrong answers to any of this. I personally wouldn't want to see Manaan myself. Its all opinion, and well the truth is forum goer's are a minority of the population, not a majority, so we cant claim any opinion here is a majority opinion. Are your suggestions a MUST? No, they are simply, suggestions.
  10. You know....if a woman is fit and half takes care of her body that their physical prime for beauty, fitness and sexuality is 28-36 It's males whose physical prime these days is 17-28 Go figure...24 is just a baby in terms of sexual/beauty and physical peak for a woman.
  11. "Here, have a glass of our complimentary wine" offers the waiter "I'll take the bottle and sell it to a bum outside thanks" Sound familiar? How do you think that looks
  12. My small guild mostly loves mainly pvp, with roleplay on the side. So when myself and the co-lead came to design the Tattooine Guildhall...we didn't care about prestige towards conquest - conquest means jack-all in the end, pvp for us in heart is just the 4vs4 and 8vs8 matches. So when we came to design our Guild Stronghold it was with Role-play in mind. Everything had to have a reason and purpose for being there. So no random pictures of a rancor on the wall, not really any trophies as when you look at things from a RP stand-point "why the hell would I have a picture of two sith lords on my wall? seriously" My Sage will own a public listed personal Yavin Stronghold and it will be deco'd via her roleplay...so not as ...cool as our smuggler run tatt, but unique to the Sage.
  13. When grinding I usually play in a small boxed window mode, can read emails as they come in, kill whilst watching a tv show, etc. Multitasking buddy.
  14. Illum heroic farm....try it. puts the rest of this threads suggestions to shame. Dunno how you missed it. Melee, shadow etc can;t grind it as fast as a slinger or sage, but can get 600k to 900k solo an hour relatively easily on those two. (includes drop sales) "But people come in and take your kills!" Hence sage or slinger who can spam immediate aoe's tagging all targets and groups immediately as theirs, if that isn't working your reaction time is simply...slow.
  15. you CAN get 900k an hour IF lucky by doing things much easier than this with less gear required. Just farm groups in Illum spawn area. Averages 600k - 900k for in an hour for me depending on local character traffic. Why do something requiring more thought than that? Still beats dailies. In less than a month two of us have ground over 60 million there in our spare time.
  16. Ask yourself these questions. Do anyone in the guild have Rancors? Do anyone the guild Ride Rancors, do anyone in the Guild wear Dathomiri clothing? If you answered yes to one or all three, your guild doesn't have a leg to stand on canon-wise. Rancors aren't discovered yet, Datrhomir hasn;t been settled yet, hence Force based women have not yet become the first ones to domesticate or ride them yet. If they say no to bacta yet say yes to any of the above, their canon is broken and you can input what you like how you like. "Can't fix whats broke so just break it some more."
  17. Blame swtors voice director....its up to them to set the scene and emotion, if the voice actors are just told to deliver lines, they'll just deliver lines. these voice actors do quality work, when they know the context of what they're talking about. But SWTOR's voice directors....don't bloody direct their voice actors AT ALL. Sometimes I'm not even sure anyone says anything to the voice actors for SWTOR, just gives them a sheet with a few lines and say "lets record." the quality of delivery between swtor and any other game these voice actors work in does show the difference, aka blame the directors, not the actors (they're just sitting in a featureless booth as it is. ... is it that hard to fathom that its SWTOR's devs that were happy with the result and quality.... they greenlit it.
  18. i think she's great, when she knows the scene, that's the difference between mass Effects vocie director, and swtor's voice director...one took the time to explain things, scenery etc, swtors is....."lets sit down and bash this out." I'll always blame him before any of the voice actors.
  19. I found all voice acting on SWTOR flat, which if you lsiten to any jennifer hale interview, she gets cranky watching her own cutscenes because she often complains "if the 'director' told me what was going on with that scene I would have delivered it completely different." When you're in a booth, virtually alone, you're at the mercy of the quality of the guy directing you...swtors voice director is *****iiii*
  20. that scene still sounds like Jennifer Hale without a doubt, trust your ears.
  21. ...she needs to be voiced by who would be able to act her in a live action version - Ming-na Wen ...cause lets admit it....Ming-Na Wen would be the perfect Satele Shan, even in age
  22. That same chat involved pvp and ops terminals, end result = nothing.
  23. ....this is what i hear.... "I think <insertthing> is going to be bad, mmkay. Even if the makers have proven they know how to sue the tools of filmaking well...but those that say <insertname> is going to bad, I disagree because the filmmaker knows how to sue the tools of the trade (even if he missed the entire point of star trek)." Double standards. An opinion is like an ***hole, everyone has one, but it still only dribbles **** The realistic outcomes, none of our opinions are truly educated as many film makers have wowed viewers when they changed from the styles they usually did. So do we know what we are talking about until we see the product? No. Just blowing hot-air until we do.
  24. I doubt they'd remove companions based on any issues or costs of voice talent. Just look at habits of TV series and even cartoons many years ago. The actor has issues or starts to cost too much - you don't kill the character you recast for the role.
  25. I always quote my signature when people ask me to click theirs. And in most cases its someone who has not been in the game as long as i so by principle, they don't even qualify for me to click, "how did you refer me when I arrived first?"
