Other than being a Star Wars fan and wishing that this game would succeed so that I can enjoy a Star Wars MMO? Nothing. Also if you think people are asking for a free cookie.. by offering to pay for a product or earn something with their subscription.. I think its you that is showing yourself to be the entitled one. Well looking at the state of the game.. I'd say they are certainly not giving any cookies away.. they certainly have not given players any incentive to stick around.. I mean.. the sub numbers and the server merge makes that clear cut. They better start kissing the players ***, or just tell us that they are just keeping this game on life support and then whatever.. I'll go find another game. One that does actually listen to its base.

Oh the reason is very simple. BW does not listen to its player base. Too many times I've seen popular demand be blatantly ignored because they just really do not pay attention to the desires of their player base. So those people demanding that those rewards be available again.. yeah.. they are not even aware we are doing so. This is why this game is dying. When you ignore your base.. your base leaves. Tick tock.. tick tock..

I want to know where EA or Bioware stated that this was only going to be available one time only guaranteed. That it would never be available again ever. I guarantee that did not happen, because that is not standard practice with promotional items. Promotional items are given out multiple times in all aspects of life. A company has a promotion and has so many of a collectors cup or something.. they give it out as a promotion. Promotion ends.. a year later they still have some left so they give them out for a promotion again. Just because you got it as a promotion item for subbing for one month.. gives you no rights to having that item only to you and that it is exclusive to you now. It is still a property owned by Electronic Arts and they can use it in a promotion if they wish.. and you have zero rights or legal standing to get angry about. If people want the item.. and EA can make money off the item.. that is a logical decision. Why are you trying to keep the game you apparently love to play from making more money?

My argument is not that people should just be given those old rewards. I am just advocating that they should be included in this idea.. because if someone subscribes to the game for a year straight you cannot tell me they do not deserve that reward any less than the person who managed to be at the right place and the right time and subbed for one month.

So by your sarcastic post I take from it.. "Stop being butt hurt because I have something you can never have because I was at the right place at the right time." Nothing wrong with Desirable promotional items.. but as the OP said.. they should be earned over the length of a subscription period.. like Star Trek Online does.. funny they get better subscriber numbers when they have exclusive rewards to people who have subbed for anywhere from 100 days to 1000 days.

Yeah I know this is by far not an easy request, but one I thought I would make anyways. I am all for pre planned team ups in ranked.. that is where you should be pre planning anyways. Unranked should be helping people new to PVP ease their way in.. not scare them off xD

TOR needs to completely do away with the "subscriber" rewards as currently is anyways. Its clearly not creating any incentive to subscribe beyond.. "Only the months I get a reward" And then that player supposedly thinks he or she "Earned" something and it should be special to them.. because they paid fifteen dollars one time. Forget about the player who was not around then.. but is a sub now.. and has been subbed for months straight. but no.. they do not deserve that.. that elitist older player.. yep.. only they deserve it. Because of "timing"

You misunderstand my sarcasm. Which was directed at all the comments about.. "Going back on their word, and players taking action if EA 'goes back on their word' and gives new players old rewards" That if old players have a right to be mad if that is the case, this false advertisement also gives new players the same right. By advocating that EA is right not to fulfill the advertisement, mistake or not, for HK 55.. you are destroying your own argument about being full of.. 'integrity'.

Not certain that you have to do the three chapter thing for this new class that you did for the others.. you can make the class and have it be a start at level 50 class. As far as the new features being overpowered? People are always crying for Nerfs on the current classes.. this would be nothing new. I am quite confident at this point that EA does not listen to the player base on buffing/ nerfing issues anyways. Else Sage/Sorcerer would have been buffed a bit DPS wise by now.

Well then that is what is called false advertisement. And that is going back on ones word. I have HK 55 already from the first go around.. but my friends do not.. they just subscribed because of that HK 55 post. So now EA has falsely advertised fifteen dollars out of my friends pockets. This is going to require some "legal advice" I guess.

These items are owned by the game, not by the player. The game has every right to do what they want with the item. They obviously reserve that right. Do you feel they are going back on their word right now making HK 55 available again for this month to subscribers? They are going back on their word right now according to you.

There is a big call out there for a new class to be introduced to the game. I am in agreement that this is way overdue for this game at this point. There is honestly an easy way to go about this without having to come up with two different mirror classes too.. Droid. With sub classes for Combat Droid Tank/Close range DPS, and Assassin Droid Pure DPS. How many here would not like to play as something like HK 47? HK 47 is by far one of the most popular aspects of The Old Republic era after all. Not sure if this has been proposed before or not, but just thought I would put the suggestion out there.

I agree on this. Why make everyone an extremist when most just wish to be a balanced individual?

Here is a fact.. if you quit playing The Old Republic because new players are now allowed to have that Shae Vizla companion and not just you.. then get lost. Your the kind of toxic individual this community does not need anyways. That reeks of selfishness and many other qualities that are not found in an upstanding individual. And just for clarification. I have many of those companions already... but I also hate seeing other people disappointed that they cannot get a companion because they were.. "Too late to the game."

For starters I know the main gripe against this is that it will make it more difficult for a premade group to get a queue to pop. But the issue with a premade going against a pug group is that is just not balanced at all. One group is on mic in a discord chat, the other have no chance to have anywhere near the level communication or teamwork. The playing field should be leveled as much as possible.. at least do this for unranked PVP.. that way a new player queuing for PVP the first time has some chance to walk into a balanced environment and not get chased off from PVP for good.
