  1. It has been a while since I last posted a part of this story But it does continue Part 4 The Strategic Information Service and the Clandestine Division have both submitted to the First Blade, swearing allegiance to the Sith and not the Council or the military. Purging the city now in the name of the Pure-blood, they were massacring those daring to stand against the Empire and the Emperor. Vitiate might be gone, but his power still remained within his former subjects, enabling them to take control of the entire planet. Honour Guards securing the inner city and Sith Intelligence services maintaining order on the capital. Yet the world was far from being secured. Still council loyalist sought to destroy the Emperor's servants as well as taking power of the Empire. They had hidden themselves in one of the citadels in the jungle forest of Dromund, far from the immediate reach of the First Blade. And they were strong. The military aiding them and he had not enough resources to act against them. The Defence fleet had not dared to move for the threat of the orbital defence stations. But they were far away from agreeing to help him. Their fire-power therefore not accessible for him. And he feared that some of them might sympathise with the Council. Or even worse. He had never understood why they were in need of a civil-military pillar, holding power within the Empire. They Sith were the power and everyone else had to submit. Now the army had become a threat. One not to be taken lightly. The soldiers were most likely loyal to their commanders and leaders. The council of Moffs. Holding the Empire together and keeping the vast machinery of imperial control in order they had been vital to the Sith. But their power has grown to strong. Now they would have to pay the price. The First Blade had blocked all transmissions to and from the planet, making his enemies blind allowing him and his followers to control the situation while they were the only link to the galaxy and the rest of the Empire. Someone wanted to talk to them, he or she had to do so with him. The sound of an transmission ripped him out of his thoughts. It was impossible. They had control of all stations, of every device and transmitter. Yet someone managed to hack them. The room went silent as all eyes turned towards him. The First Blade made his way up to the holoterminal, nodding his approval. All the command room silenced and the incoming line was opened. It took a few moments until the uplink was complete and the picture of a human female took shape. She had her hands crossed, watching her opposite intensely, her eyes as cold as ice. “Minister Beniko.” the First Blade said, lowering his head for only an instant. As she spoke, her words were hard and open hostility could be heard. She had no intension to hide them. “First Blade of the Empire.” she said. “There is an urgent necessity of talk.” She waited a few seconds for him to respond, but as he did not, she continued. “State of War.” the Minister of Secret Intelligence growled. “I demand an explanation.” The First Blade frowned. Nothing to explain. She should have been here when it all happened. Now they are interested in this. As always. “No need to worry, Minister.” he said evading her urge of an answer. “The situation is under control.” She did not answer alike. It was difficult to tell what she was thinking. The Minister was a dangerous entity within the large machination of the Sith Empire. “All connections to the capital all interrupted. The First Defensive Fleet does not answer to any command. … I would hardly call that 'A Situation under control'.” The First Blade sighed. What did she know of the horrors that happened here. Given the circumstances the situation was well under control. All the capital city was save. As well as the howl planet. The shut-down was merely an act of security. Had she noticed it by now? Hardly. All mighty. All dominant. And now he was gone. Could she understand the lack of his omnipresent power? Would she be able to live with it. Being cast of from his everlasting spirit. He doubt it. She might be tough. But inside, she is weak. Human. Not Sith Pure-blood. Only they are strong. Only they can survive. “Lord Marr is outrageous.” she continued. “He has given you the change to answer before the Empire will take actions.” Do they even know? Didn't all of these would be Sith sense the shifting? The movement in the void? They do not know. How could they. They are not his. Only puppets for his glorious mind. Nothing like he was. And the others. They were different. At least they had been. But now? “The Wrath of the Empire will come to Dromund Kaas.” The Wrath. She is the only one who could possibly understand. “As we speak a single Destroyer will arrive within the no flight zone. If you take any actions either against the ship, it's crew or even dare to do any violation against the Wrath, this will be seen as an act of war and therefore answered with the full power of the Empire.” He did not answer. Maybe this could be the solution. A hope he could see now. After the madness all of them suffered, finally salvation has come. “Did you hear me, First Blade?” she demanded to know. He did hear her. Yes. The First Blade of the Sith nodded. By now he had not fully understood what has happened here earlier. But one thing he new for sure. Whatever has happened there one the world of Ziost, it had affected all of them. The Emperor was gone and only they were left.
  2. Seems like most of you like Ziost, but - I can only personally speak for me - hate the environment they created. I know its a harsh word, but when I heard of Ziost coming, I did expect to see the world where once the might of the Sith Empire was located (and something like Dromund Kaas again). I would have been happy with ruins and not just some small temples in the daily area. It is know that most of the capital city still was intact after the battle of Yavin (so for more than 3500 years). And therefor I asked myself why not showing this in the game ... ? The Ziost they gave us is nothing compared to what it used to be outside the game.
  3. You speak of wise words, yet we have not much information about the ending of the hyperspace war and the events in its aftermath. We see the Sith defeated and Sadow flee to Yavin. We know that Vitiate had called the remaining Lords to Nathema and started the ritual and after them being killed he lead the remaining Sith on an exodus into exil and after around 100 years (if I am not mistaken) they eventually took Dromund Kaas as their new home. I mean the Sith Empire was huge at this time (not like the one during the great galactic war, but stil many and more worlds) and I doubt that allof the Empire was part of this war. Thing is, after the defeat of the Sith the Rep and the Jedi made their way towards Sith space and while Vitiate was creating the ritual I hardly belive that he fought either the Reps or the Jedi. I therefor wonder what happened to most of the Empires population, as for he just took control of the remaining remants of the Sith fleet and of the followers of the Lords he killed on Nathema. There is never mentioned that he saved all the Empire. I guess they were just a small group compared to all the people living in th Empire. But the question remains: What did the Jedi do with them?
  4. I need to disagree with you, Darth Wicked, Lord Sadow had ties to Ziost. If you have forgotten the fact that this world was once the capital of our glorious Empire and that was right before the great hyperspace war, in which he fought against the Republic and the Jedi. On Ziost there was the citadel, where the seat of power for the Sith was and despite having his personal fortress on a moon of Khar Delba. Yet I am not sure if these tempels are somehow related to him. --- Greetings from a humbled servant of the mighty Wrath
  5. as always when a new expansion with new levl cap hits live the elite and ulti will be changed into basic (as with SOR). But they did not confirm that by now.
  6. I think obvious would be the wrong word. There are hints to the Maze, yet no real revealment on what there realy is. As I wrote about the class storys; there are strong tendencies that Zakuul would be located there, but these things would not match with information about Zakuul and the expansion. And its hard to talk about this without spoiling some things. Yet I think we are shifting too much from my orginal question about Bothawui and the "spoiler" in the site adress of the pictures released on the page a few months ago.
  7. @ Rodyn I just took a look at the story lines on Rishi again. Yet the content we learn about does not give any clue about the fact that Zakuul is located in the Rishi Maze. Why would Vowrawn flee to the Maze, right into the arms of ... wait, stopp, we are not allowed to talk spoilers here, so I just can say why would he walk right into the arms of Valkorion if he indeed had knowledge on what was going on there. I can't go into detail here what the Hand was talking about, so I need to skip that. And about the Inquisitors story: You might have relazied that Zakuul has nothing to do with the rest of the galaxy and it's history. So, yes there might be transmissions of different origin (Sith, Rakata, ...) coming from there, but the Empire of Zakuul is a human based society. But after all, the information we get can not be taken as a solid ground for saying that Zakuul is located in the Maze. It's just speculation and in the end has nothing to do with Bothawui (and my question was about this world). Yet if we would assume Zakuul is in the Maze - as you pointed out - it would be logical that Rishi is important. For there is no other way in and out of the Maze than using Rishi as spatial constant. Therefor your interpretation of the outer rim (and Rishi is in the outer rim) would be correct, because this would indicate that the invasion would start within the Abrion sector and the Rishi system.
  8. I would realy look forward to that, but this would indicate that BW would create a new galaxy (even if it's smaller compared to the main) as well as it did not answer my question about Bothawui, which is neither in the outer rim nor near the ...
  9. Part 3 .... Yet, the enemy they did not expect to come, was already within its walls. .... They were caught off-guard and The First Blade guessed that they never knew what hit them, until it was too late. Imperial shock troopers and low ranking Sith Lords and their adepts were securing the outer parameters of the command centre, a vast structure deep within the main citadel of Dromund Kaas. It was said that it's original foundations were once part of the holy temple built there, when Vitiate had first lead the surviving Sith to this world. Reshaped after the image of the over-towering pyramids of Korriban, where the glorious ancestors of the Sith had once celebrated both life and death and a perfect image of the magnificent Great Citadel on Ziost, where in ancient times all the power of the Empire was concentrated. Yet destroyed during a fight for power, as Dark Lords Qalar and Victun had it crushed during their last phase of the sacred Kaggath – an honoured tradition of Sith civilisation. Once the beating heart of an Empire in this renewal, some hidden parts outlasted the rite and became the base of the new citadel. Safely hidden behind hundreds of feet of dura-concrete, mandalorian iron and tons of glass, the command centre of Dromund Kaas was probably the best guarded section of the entire planet – not counting the Sith Palace, where in long passed times the Emperor had held court. The First Blade and his few fellow followers made their way deeper inside the structure, passing secured gates and closed death zones. But despite some check points crowded with Dark Council Loyalists – both military and Sith Order – the Citadel was empty. The last of a handful of Sith fell under the glooming blade of his sabre as he descended into the main hallway. He felt small compared to the vastness of this chamber. Located high above the ground and exactly between the base and the upper top, the hallway was known as the Gateway of Power. Splinting the Tower into three separated parts, stretching across ten floors in the run and a lower and an upper half horizontally, this was the main level of the Citadel. Huge stairways lead up and down and all across the building, into the far distance and a place even he could not see. A deadly silence has taken hold of this sacred halls, where once the Emperor himself had walked. Statues of Sith ancient rose to greatness on the walls and still huge banners hung on all sides and from high archways, showing the symbol of power – a burning sun of Korriban, sending its radiation straight into the universe, in combination with the emblem of the first Dark Lords who had come to the mighty ancestors of this Empire as half-gods. He turned and looked at the massive gateway to their left, where the main floor of the Gateway of Power lead out of the tower and towards the Sith Palace. They took the other way, heading for the Stairs of Ascendancy and the direct way to the main elevators of the central tower. No wardens guarded the entrance as the small group started to make its descent deep into the base of the Citadel. The lift was fast and silent, yet if they did monitor the main ways of transport, the security systems would surely detect them. But they did not. The elevator came to no halt and some time later the doors opened into a large hall. A few moments before they arrived The First Blade opened himself to the Force, letting it flow freely and this was how he detected the guards just outside the doors. Between the elevator and the main entrance for the command centre was a huge area with no place to hide. Wide hallways surrounded the inner structure and made it nearly impossible to approach without being seen. And now it would be way much harder. Groups of both Sith and members of the Sith Intelligence Service were patrolling the ways. But only one way would lead them inside. The doors slide open and they left. The Blade had covered his face with the hood of the the dark mantle and was now leading his team straight across the hallway. One step after the other and with every the approached the gates a bit further. He could sense his power growing as he called upon the Force as his ally and building up rage he would unleashed once he was in full control. His finger tips were covered in light and he could feel the power of electricity springing from finger to finger. And than he let it go and with one single outburst the lightnings rushed across the hall, separated the air and filled all the space with in the walls around. It was a short fight he had battled and his opponent was weak and it was a shame to call him Sith. The Guards rushed forward, swiftly finishing even the last standing soldiers that could withstand the outburst of The First Blade. They all stood no chance against the servants of the Emperor and as the last was killed, the Blade stood in front of the doors. The official seal of the Ministry of War as a huge emblem all over it's surface. Raising his hand he touched the cold iron of the gate, feeling it's structure, it's way of making and his weaknesses as well. Seeing them as small lines of bright red all across the strong steel he let the Force infiltrate it, using the weakness for his own purpose. There was nothing that could stand between The First Blade of the Sith and his burning rage.
  10. I had to make a slight change within the story and now the First Balde of the Empire is a male. I will change this fact in the text above soon. ________ Part 2 ..... And he left the place of madness and death that had once been his private room, high above, inside the citadel on the imperial capital world of Dromund Kaas. ..... The doors were smashed and their remnants scattered all across the hallway in front of his room. Dead corpses covered the floor, both imperial military and Dark Honour-Guard. Shot in cold blood and killed in a desperate attempt to save their own lives. He could not possible understand what has happened here just moments ago. Or was it hours? Who could tell. His mind was empty and free, both alike. A broken chain, yet just to be replaced by another. Freedom was the worst of all prisons. What was it before? In a time, when he was a different person. Free from the Emperor. Free from his will. He had no memory of that decades. It had to be centuries in the past. The First Blade of the Empire stopped. All was silent. The proud citadel of imperial might has fallen into a dangerous tranquillity. No word to be heard. No voice echoing throughout the halls. Only silence. Not really knowing what he did, his hand found it's way towards the earpiece of his communication device. Activating it with a slight tip of his index finger he listened to the hissing of an omnipresent stillness. For seconds he did not dare to speak, afraid of what might happen if he would. The beating of his heart the only voice he could hear. But then he spoke and his voice was nothing more than a whisper. “This is the First Blade.” He hesitated. “Can anyone hear me?” Nothing. Only the hissing of an open transmission. He waited. And with every moment passing the worst of his fears came true. But of all what he thought of, the knowing of fear was the most terrible to make on this day. For countless ages he had been the most powerful weapon in the Empire – the entire galaxy. And there was nothing that could stand in his way. Nothing that he had to fear. Fear – A strange word to him. Yet he had to witness it first-handed. “This is commanding officer Ruana Yin.” the voice of the female permeated his mind, his thoughts. “I can hear you, Blade. Where are you?” He did not answer. They still lived. And that meant hope. “My personal quarters.” he answered. “Stay there, my lord.” He would not. Who was she to give him orders? Deactivating the device he moved on. He made his way through the large hallways of the citadel. Once a place where the might of the Sith had gathered. But now deserted and lifeless. Only every now and then he found some dead. Yet never that much than in front of his rooms. After some time he passed alongside a huge window front, overlooking the central districts of Imperial Centre, the beating heart of the Empire. But that was gone. First he did not take any notice of the outside, but than he came to a halt. There was something in the Force. A movement he could feel, yet not tell what it was. Stepping right in front of the glass he took a look at the outside. And found a city in riot. It was not that he saw it, but a mere feeling. One that became stronger the more he focused on the districts below and beyond and on the people living there. Dromund Kaas was a place of madness, inflicted by the Force itself, being in turmoil after the most powerful of all minds has just perished. And the planet reacted on this sudden disappearance with streams of dark side power flowing right out of the void, taking possession of every being within their reach. And it was the madness of the imperial military and loyal followers of the dark council who now saw their chance on making a stand against the Emperors most trusted servants. “My Lord.” He turned, watching Yin and some of her fellow guards approach from one of the huge stairways, making their way towards him. Some dozen feet away they stopped, knelling and showing that their loyalty still was with the Emperors Power-basement. The First Blade left them kneeling while he turned his attention back to the city. “What do you feel, commander Yin?” he asked the woman. She hesitated. He could sense it. “A great unrest, my Lord.” she then answered. They said that the guards took their force sensitivity from the master, yet this one proved to be somehow different. A fact of interest, but one to be determined on another occasion. Still, she was right. “The city suffers. As does the entire planet. Some might have thought it clever to take a stand against the one and sole master while his everlasting presence has disappeared into oblivion. He is gone, yet has his will not ended. In his never failing wisdom he has set up a task for us. One we need to solve.” He stretched out with the Force, grabbing the soft fabric of the coat. “Too long the dark council and the military have tried to oppose us, yet their little rebellion is over. They might have done, what a Sith would do. And I would honour them for fulfilling the sacred tasked the dark side gave us. Yet it makes me sick to call them Sith and it is violation of our glorious ancestors if we let them stand much longer.” The coat was lift form the ground, making his way towards the First Blade. “The Empire does need strength in this hour of utter madness.” The fine cloth falling on his shoulders, covering the armour beneath. He had claimed the mantle of Dark Lord for himself. But only until the true master would return. He rushed away, with the guards close on his heels. They went for the central command centre of the city, some levels below, deep within the tower and safely hidden from every attack from the outside. Yet, the enemy they did not expect to come, was already within its walls.
  11. Well, I kept asking myself the same question and if we do not act on the assumption that there were no more high ranking Sith (human and pureblood) alive, it would be because they did not rethink twice which character to introduce. But hopefully they created this carater out of a reason. And this is what I personally think.
  12. Well, thanks for the honest words, yet the purpose of a story is that it should develop with it's ongoing - at least that's my opinion on it. And if I throw all the information in at the beginning I wouldn't need to tell it anyway. Just write a summary. But I would recommend you to wait until some further texts come and then tell me again if you don't get the content of the story. Oh, and maybe you did not realize, but the First Blade is not based on any of my Chars in this game.
  13. Hey guys, thanks for the feedback, appreciate it. Sry I hadn't repsonded earlier, but had some other things to do. Hope that I will have some time to continue with the story.
  14. You realize that the Rakata used beings to power their star ships and appart from all the other things this is the most outstanding difference. It's allways said that the Sith are evil. They are children compared to the Rakata or even the Celestials ...
  15. I did expect some normal discussion about it and not stuff like "they will make it fit"... it was not meant to be about wheter that happens or not, but only to talk about it and all those answers are definitly what a discussion about story and lore should be ... about J.J Abrams: read it in an article on massivelyop.com
  16. I would support your cause right away, yet you have to keep in mind that making it possible to join Valkorion and the Eternal Empire it would massively affect the game. Think of this - even if you cannot choose to create a character within the eternal empire (short excursion: you are part of the eternal empire - 1 story where you work with Valkorion, one where you have the chance not to + the original faction rep and imp ... well, that would a way to much work) but than later join Valkorion the stroy would take some different way. Let's say the majority would choose to kneel (just an example), yet there is a story from 1-60 with two factions and some players would like to play as imp or rep rather than as eternal ... whatsoever. So, you got the old faction, plus a new which means how would that story end? with Empire and Republic reestablished (possible) and the eternal empire? ... would be a bit strange, wouldn't it? And in the end this is a MMO, no single player game where you could make this whole kneeling much easier ... but these are just thoughts of mine, so ... don't me with a
  17. You might be right about that, but still, why putting this information in the source link for a picture of Zakuul and then releasing an information on where the eternal empire can be found. Way away from bothan space. But well, yes, maybe the Bothans had brought us that information. -> still curious what the devs have to say though ...
  18. Something I want to ask you guys at BioWare - and the others, pls try not to speculate on this post. Think that making up some weird theories won't help here. ----- Since the announcement of Knights of the Fallen Empire was made, I kept asking myself the same question quit often and in the last week I tried to make sense of it. If you look at the links of the Wallpapers released on the homepage you will find that (e.g.) http://cdn-www.swtor.com/sites/all/files/en/fallenempire/bothawui/screens/SkyscraperCityViewConcept.jpg and hidden within the sites adress ou can finde the planet of Bothawui. Well, there has been a lot of speculation about that and many associated the Empire of Zakuul with Bothawui. I did not buy that but until recently had no proof of that. But then I read the description of the Gamescome Trailer of the expansion and guess what, there you say that the Empire of Zakuul is located somewhere in the outer rim. I quote: "Your character will become the Outlander, a veteran of the Great Galactic War. Travel to the outer rim of the galaxy and come face-to-face with a new threat, Emperor Valkorion and his Eternal Empire, only to discover that his dark destiny is tied to your own." Was this all made to mislead us into some other direction. A mere illusion while hiding the Empire of Zakuul somewhere else? It would be really great if we could have an answer for that, because it is know that Bothawui and the entire Bothan space are located in the mid rim and not the outer rim. Whats right now? Bothan space or outer rim?
  19. Greetings, with the upcoming expansion, Knights of the Fallen Empire, I decided to write a story leading up to the events we will experience in late October. All works following are pure fiction and in no relation to the real expansion. I will share different issues of the story with you over the next few months (a way to shorten the time we have to wait ) About me: I am a huge fan of Star Wars and this game. Have been playing this game since many years and with the promise of a huge story-driven expansion I fully have returned to the game, because that is, what - in my opinion - a game should be made of. A great story. But enough about me. Enjoy the reading and feel free to leave comments ----- KOTFE - In the Darkness of Space Issue#1 -Part 1 Only the silence. And the freedom to think. The Emperor was gone. Vanished in the blink of an eye. Disappeared into the endless void of darkness. For the first time since countless years he was able to have his own thoughts, to see the world with his own eyes. To be alone. Alone. He did not know what that was like. He never had that. The Emperor was there, always. In his mind. Never leaving. And now his all dominating presence was gone. The pillar that backed him was no more and despite the freedom he now had something was missing. The red skinned Sith had fallen to the floor, just in the very moment – in a single heartbeat – when all the universe he knew suddenly fell apart. The world rushing back into his mind, penetrating every thought. Crushing the Pureblood under the full weight of reality. He collapsed, hitting hard on the dark marble floor. There had been a time, when he was someone different. A person. An own entity. But that was long ago and now he had barely any memories of this other life. A path had been laid and it was up to him, if he was willingly to accept it, or not. And he did. Life changed. He became different. Servant of the sole and only true Emperor the Sith could ever have. Powerful in many ways. Lethal to all, foe and friend. A living weapon of the Force and the instrument of his masters will. First Blade of the Empire and prime among all Sith. But a puppet, nothing more. Submitted to the ultimate control of Vitiate. He did not erased all of his mind, merely banished it, chained him and claimed total power over his acts. His demands were the natural law he was subjected to and there was no way he could disobey him. Leaving parts of the original identity still untouched, the Emperor was using his brilliant mastery of the Force and all forms of arms for his own purpose, while he was the secret actor behind all of his doings. He let him free to achieve the one thing he could not do himself. Reforge the Empire in a way never seen before. All his life had been what he said. Now he was gone. And nothing remained. The First Blade still was on the floor, letting his thoughts shift. He was free. Free of him. The master gone. Gone … A bright flash of lightning lit up the sky, revealing a deadly scene right in front of him. Had he gone mad? His mind was drawn apart. Madness in every thought. The Force a glooming stream of power. A path to control. Blood in his mind. Blood in his eyes. The world covered in red. Dead corpses all around. Madness. And he was the centre-point of it. Death all around and a world of blood. His master was gone and the blank void invading his mind bringing the darkness he was afraid of. The male sat in silent, listening. No voice. No sound. Only silence. Footsteps in the distance. Approaching. They came for him. Like they did for the others. No words. Guards gone. Where is the master? Thunder in the sky. Lighting in the clouds. A world of never ending storms. A rain of blood. They come for him. He could hear their breath. Could fell their fear. What are they afraid of? Me? A smile across his lips. Blood in his mouth. Blood in his eyes. Killed in rage. Slain in madness. They were here. Thunder in the far distance. Doors opening. Footsteps near. No words were spoken. None needed. The Emperor is gone. And nothing is left. The First Blade reached out to the Force, summoning all powers he had, reading himself for the coming. There were five. And a Sith among them. He could feel her presence. More glooming than the others. All paths of the future opened before him and he could see what was about to come. He did not hesitate. All his training had prepared him for this moment. And even without the Emperor controlling him, he was a deadly opponent. He sensed it a moment before they attacked. Yet the First Blade die not move. Sitting in total motionlessness and silence. Time slowed, heartbeat nearly stopped. He heard them breath, smelt their fear, sensed their intentions. A finger at the trigger. One last breath of air. They could not move. Had no chance to attack. The First Blade reached out, grabbing them through the Force. No noise. Only silence. And the terror of madness. They trembled. They feared. No one attacked him. He did not know for how long he was like that. Time had no meaning in this. But his mind cleared. The darkness vanished. There was no madness. Gracefully he rose. The storm outside had grown stronger. The howl world was in a turmoil of destruction, the very Force itself at war, as the all dominant presence of the Emperor was gone. He could see clear. No more illusion, no deception. They just died, killed by the power of the Force he used against them. Their dead bodies, freed from his grip, collapsing to the ground as he walked pass them. Only the Sith had not been killed and as he let go of her, she dared to attack him. A foolish move. Without even touching his weapon, the hilt of the Forcesabre lift from the ground, blade ignited. It rushed through the room, impaling the poor weakling before she even could make a move. The attack throwing her back, nailing her against the wall. She died in agony as life slowly trickled out of her body. The First Blade did not look at her for once as he left the room. Hand stretched, the blade returned to him. Doors opened. And he left the place of madness and death that had once been his private room, high above, inside the citadel on the imperial capital world of Dromund Kaas.
