  1. /derp - saw the health pack overlooked the adrenal
  2. Only on two direct abilities every 90 seconds. Too few and far between to say, 40% buffed is the upper side or a soft cap. Besides, it's the crit rating diminishing returns we care about. Until that formula changes, the optimum number will be the same, regardless of buffs, willpower, etc. IMO 300-350 is crit rating a good target
  3. I would say up to 350 points IMO. That and 1700 WP will produce 32% crit chance without buffs / stims. At 2200WP, that will be 35%, again without buffs or stims. It looks like he has buffs, the companion is buffed completely. Stim IDK, but I'd assume so. Given that, the numbers looks fine. However, it looks like an ability is on CD on the left side, and I can't find his rakata adrenal, which every bio-chem should have. If that ability is the adrenal - then I'd want to see these numbers without the adrenal.
  4. You can mod the tier offhands such as tionese and columi. Might be cheaper than paying credits for orange offhand if you have those comms to burn. Be sure that when you buy your BH piece that you pull the mods out and transfer them to the tier pieces you have. You'll save your set bonus that way. I would buy the chest piece if I were you. In your case, orange chest, you'll need to buy a columi chest or tionese as the BH stuff does not have any set bonuses. As far as stats, I would shoot for 350 crit rating, no more than 300 surge rating. Use willpower augments and substitute power / force power when you start going over those numbers.
  5. Regardless, the simple fact is by doing SM EV/KP you can get the gear needed to so HM EV/KP and SM EC / TfB which will get you the gear to get into HM EC which will get you into HM TFB. Pretty much a progression
  6. One thing about the nanites phase, if you drop a tower without hitting the boss, ie waste a tower, it's a lot harder on your raid.
  7. If you guys are quick learners and able to reduce unneeded incoming damage, by all means come in with Columi gear, but treat it like a progression raid. You will wipe, but it's certainly doable.
  8. Just so you know, I have an aversion to questing. I find it tedious and boarder-line boring. The only saving grace is I do like the class story line(s). I already have a Sorc @ 50, and want a Jug. What are your opinions on leveling in Flash Points and only doing the class quests? Also, I do a little PvP but I hesitate to say this is viable for me as a leveling tool. Last night, I was able to level 13-17 in good order in FP's, think that will change drastically?
  9. I have a 50 sorc healer that I'll spec Madness when I need to DPS. You may get a much different answer from others, but in my opinion I think sorcs are great to play either heals or dps. There is no better raid AoE healer and the DoTs on Madness spec is just so fun to play.
  10. Also, here is a great site to get the nuts and bolts. http://www.noxxic.com/swtor/pve/sith-inquisitor/sith-sorcerer/lightning/stat-priority-and-details
  11. Thanks for this great question. It's the same for all our guild runs, regardless of farming or progression runs. We do get a lot of new players in so we do as many farm runs as possible to get these new players the equipment & commendations they need. It's your basic need system. If your character needs it, you should /roll 100. If you've won a piece this week, in this instance, you should hold that roll for other members of the same class. If no-one needs it for their characters, the gear goes to a companion roll, in which you may roll in every companion roll that fits your needs. If no one rolls at all for the gear, it's /random. The materials, usually go into the bank saving for the high end recipes which also go in the bank for players that we get in that need them. Recipes are /roll 100 each time your character can use the recipes. I think that covers it. Thanks again for bringing this up.

  15. Sorry, but I see no problems in FPs/HMFPs/Ops/HMOps/PvP Not much to go on from your post so I've got no choice but to speculate a lot. First, make sure the target you want to heal is selected. You can be bustin your *** on a 20% health tank and if you have yourself selected @100% you may not notice. Second, make sure you always come back to resurgence. That will increase healing output on certain abilities. Thirdly, you said rakata & black hole gear, but you didn't mention stats. Are you in Force Mystics? Force Masters? Both? something else? Are you focusing on Surge/Crit or Power/Alacrity? My rule of thumb is stay away from alacrity. Lastly, if you feel that you are doing everything right, wearing the stuff, have the right spec - throw out a Cleanse just to make sure there's no force debuff preventing you from healing the tank. Just sayin.
