  1. I definitely remember in vanilla SWTOR I would 1v1 snipers or other range classes, and often I would get them down to 1-5% they would root me and run away. So I would pop recklessness which would extend force lighting out to 60 and I was able to finish them off with force lighting.
  2. Curious if I'm the only one, but I feel like the Force Pull ability should be base line for the assassin/shadow and then in its place on the tank tree add in a friendly pull. I just feel range and healers have a lot of mobility and as a melee I spend a lot of time chasing if the other team is all or mostly range as well as all the roots, ccs, and slows in the game now. I mean the damage out put for sins and shadows is nice and most of the time this isn't an issue but every so often I go against that one team in PvP that I'm just chasing the enemy around objects and it gets very irritating haha. And then I know for tanking, there are some situations it would be nice if could pull my healer or teammate away from the danger. Like I said, curious if I'm the only one who would like this improvement and doesn't think it would break balance?

Some hate it, but I believe most enjoy it, and even more would enjoy a sponsored tournament of Huttball hosted by the SWTOR team over the summer, a double elimination bracket style tournament of team for huttball. Y'all could add in a forth map, have a separate tournament server that strips out most of the game and only has the Fleets, or capital planets, or just odessan or a completely new area only for the server where people can hang out in a large cantina with Huttball matches playing on a screen or can access those camera hover droids from the Rishi SH. All the gameplay is turned off except PvP and only has the huttball matches. If other players were allowed to be on the server there would have to a mechanic that only grants players to queue up, so probably just turn off the queue and have the teams just challenge each other would probably be best. Teams would have to register via whatever method y'all are able to do, probably have to set a limit of how many teams. The rewards would definitely just be cosmetic, SH deco, Flair, mount, title, pets(this should just be a reward for participation in the tournament, like if your team registered and gets accepted you get a unique pet) and for the top tier prize unique armor and weapon set. All prizes and rewards would need to be completely unique not reskinned, and will not be reskinned for other parts of the game, the reskin would come for each season get a unique themed coloring for that season. So every summer for a few weeks y'all host this tournament as part of the game. Stream it in the game, and on twitch or wherever have Musco and someone else do the commentary for each game.
  4. I can't be the only one who would like a small stronghold. I want a small hermit hut somewhere, i was hoping that's what Rishi's was going to be a small beach hut. I want my Yoda on Dagobah , or Jolee on Kashyyyk hermit loner hut. Enough to put my storage stuff, a GTN, and when you finally get a round to putting in training dummies, and mission terminals ( don't really care if we never get terminals to pick up missions i just want drop off terminals so i can cash in and log out)
  5. Instead of making classes restricted to use only one type of weapon, I'd like to see certain specs of the different classed be able to use different weapons. I feel like a few classes and specs wouldn't really be a lot of work on the dev ends. Counselor/Inquisitor - would take the least amount of work mainly because the base classes only were able to use 1 single hilt. Assassins/Shadow - For their tank specs there really is nothing that they couldn't use a single bladed light saber other than assassinate. You could almost play a tank spec with a single blade hilt you only miss out on 1 or 2 abilities. Sage/Sorc - their Lightsabers minus 1 or 2 abilities are just for show anyway, really you should let players double focus as main and off hand and let them run around with out sabers. The other may take actually redoing some animation: Operatives use Pistols- really for this class any range weapon won't effect much of this class for any spec. Scoundrels - let them use rifles for if they spec into ruffian, the others specs maybe? Gunslinger - You could probably get away let them use a rifle as well.Maybe not in all specs. Power tech - let them use rifles all specs. Knights/Warriors, they're pretty stuck with their weapons, with how they're classes are unless you let them use double blades. I'm sure other folks have different ideas, but i felt being so restricted on weapons in this game was boring.

  7. Yes i know we're currently still waiting for 6.0 however I really feel like this game's 7.0 could be a full on Mandalorian expansion. Bring Mandalore (the planet) into the game, create a new operation against a rouge clan of Mandalorians basically a Death Watch situation, could probably build a couple of operations off of that story arc like the Dread Council. Lastly, use this patch to bring in a new class The Mandalorian a Melee non-force user class have the class be tank/dps were the tank wields a two handed double blade and shield or DPS class that could wield 2 single handed weapons, or 1 blade and off hand be a blaster. Or you could have the Mandalorian be the basic class the two advance classes with one being a tank/melee dps and the other range dps/healer.
  8. What i would like to see is a melee non-force user. Actually have a class that wields tech blades etc... I know we already have a bounty hunter, but i would like to see the melee class be Mandalorian. The class could start off at level whatever and to get through a short class story. Also bring in Mandalore (the planet) into the game. Honestly though before they could get a new class in the game they would have to eventually (and I hope they do) complete dissolve the alliance commander, it would probably take another expansion after this but it would have the main character either resume with the empire or republic which is what they seem to be going to anyway.
  9. (Disclaimer: when i say PvP companion i mean one like Major Pierce that levels up from running WZs) Major Pierce is cool and all but he's maxed out and I'm quite bored with him. I PvP mainly and run dailies because PvP don't pay the in game bills. Plus i kind of want a force user PvP companion and I ain't got time or the money to level up another companion the PvE way! haha Also, maybe make this one more interesting like you have to be high level Valor to even get this one or give a way a companion as part of ranked? Don't make it an old companion because then you're going to get a lot of QQ more than if it was something new, still get a lot of PvE tears but not as much. (Recalling the flood of PvE tears from Season 1 about the Rancor mount) Not saying this should be a priority all the bugs and development fixes first of course but just a suggestion.

  11. I'm in Ghost infantry but we're pretty dead too so I've also been looking around a bit! The group que bug has kind of killed the scene, hopped on to Shadowlands to kind look around there too!

  13. They need to admit it is broken, pull the new content till they've located the issue, release to PTS with the other WZs to make sure it works then, re release it back to the live servers!
  14. I'm not saying a 100% complete match making wouldn't be ideal but its really not feasible, so alls I'm suggesting is put a limit on support roles in the war zones. Basically I'm asking for the que process instead just checking for 16 ( or 8 for arenas ) players it looks for healers first then maxes out at two ( then same for tanks) then fills the rest of the match with DPS, doesn't require any tanks or healers to pop so it'll still be possible for 8 DPS in a wz. With Sorc/Sage healers being the fav class to play and almost half of them play heals its become more and more common for WZs to have 4 or more healers. So this is just my suggestion to help fix this. Also i want to throw in another issue. Tank/DPS hybrids are a problem. Too many times I've seen Jugg/Guardian Tanks (and even some Sin/Shadow tanks) putting out more DPS then pure DPS classes. 15k hits from a Tank in a WZ is ridiculous and really need to have their DPS nerved. I'm not too sure how the threat mechanic works in PvE, but is it possible to reduce DPS by at least 20% in tanks stance while increasing threat so it doesn't interfere with PvE. A more curious suggestion would probably be a lot of programming work, but what if Tanks had a mechanic that while in a tank stance that all targets actively taking "damage" from a tank would have their DPS reduced by XX% which would count for protection points. Not sure if I explained that well enough. Anyway these are few suggestions that are among many to help out PvP. Oh also cross faction for all WZs!

  17. Alls I want is to be able to use a key ability in Deception rotation against the unstunable NPCs while playing the PvE solo material, my main is my deception assassin and it be a nice thing to have when running through the KOTFE chapters!
  18. In this crazy awesome story your toon's Yoda Dagobah moment! You go through a well written story and then theres a moment they talk about and build up this awesome new mega weapon you're going to build to help defeat the eternal empire. However, its just a crappy regular orange piece thats not special in anyway except maybe a unique look to it, that really is nothing to write home to mom about! BW team you really dropped the ball on what could have been a great moment to drop a new legacy weapon with a unique sound, animation effect, and look( that isn't HK-55 inspired) but instead you went with what we got, a weapon that'll get vendored with out any real regret to letting it go!
  19. With this game becoming a more solo PvE focus, it would be nice if i could actually use maul when fighting these bosses that can't be stunned! It's really not a hard feat to get behind an enemy in PvP so I really don't feel like it would break the class for PvP, it may, god forbid, up the Deception DPS a small bit, but it consumes too much force to throw it with out a proc just because you don't have to be behind the enemy. This is more of a quality of in game life issue at this point and really needs to go away!
  20. I honestly don't care if we never get pure match making in WZs. With the easy to play and over powered Sorc/Sage Healing, its become far too common to have 3 - 4 healers on the same team in one WZ and if the other team has it too it becomes healer wars where nothing dies and its a very long 10 - 15 minutes of maybe 6 deaths total out of the whole WZ. Hell I was in an arena that the entire other team was 4 sorc healers! Alls I'm asking from EA/ BW is to make a block of code that prevents more than 2 healing spec'd classes from being on the same team! Sure we might get in a WZ where one team is all DPS and the other team is 2 heals but i feel with as many healers that are queuing up for WZs those will probably be few and far between
  21. So forgive me if this has already been answered I'm not a frequent forum checker and I'm too lazy to browse through ALL of the different post. I'm just curious what happen to the other classes? At launch we had Eight separate stories that had no direct relation to each other but indirectly interacted together to make up the overall story of Lvl 1 - 50 story. Then we got makeb, which Eight classes down to two, Republic and Empire, then came SOR which brought us to one single class. With the launch of KOTFE BW is sticking with the one single story arc. (The whole mixing a force user and tech user into one story makes it really hard for RP in my opinion but that is a different topic all together!) So where is everyone else? I mean the smuggler and BH didn't seem to really fit to well after their main story anyway because why would they care about the affairs of the Republic and Empire, I mean Han only got involved because of a girl! With Kailyo coming back the other classes story arcs obviously are part of the main story being that SCORPIO and her knew each other from their old team with the agent, but what happened to the agent if the class you're playing isn't one? I hope I was clear in what i'm trying to understand as part of what is going on the galaxy? I believe I've seen most of the Dev post and streams and I haven't seen or heard any nod to this but maybe i have and some one can tell me what has been put out about this issue?
  22. So are the Devs ever going to acknowledge the BS damage range on the Acid pit in Quesh hutt ball. Half way up the ramp and still taking all the acid damage! If we cant be on the ramp then the animation needs to show the toxic sliming down it or something, its a crap that Im not showing the toxic sludge on my toon but yet im taking all the damage of it!
  23. Yea servers down again! Seriously, the server can't handle peak hours anymore, Bioware you owe us at the least 1 to 2 free character transfer so we can go play on another server with toons we already leveled while we wait for harbinger to come back up every time it goes down!
