  1. That wasn't the point. I was merely using Cartel Coins as an avenue of which to generate funds so BW can finish the rest of the Galactic History, that's all. It's all a little tongue-in-cheek sarcasm. But I agree with you, I should never run a business. And you should never get married. That way you can save us the trouble of having to euthanize your entire family. I kid, I kid. But not about the euthanize your family part.
  2. Lemme know how much. I'd part with my complimentary 500 Cartel Coins a month for one new continuation story of the Holonet Galactic History. Make it happen.
  3. From a 1st time MMO player with a few 55s, my thoughts on this is to have bolster removed altogether. At the risk of sounding really unpopular, 55 and all other forms of pvp don't really require gear. There is no story progression and too many people complain about the gear gap and/ lack of skill. Why not have just have a pvp gear set (no modifiable parts) that gives you set bonuses and a ranked version just to show off how awesome you are at pvp, rather than force grinding through months to get pvp gear? The stats the moment you enter a warzone are evened out to (a rough guide, only) 2000 main stat, 2300 endurance, 30% crit, 70% surge for DPS. The same would apply to a pvp tank, something to the effect of: 2000 main stat, 2300 endurance, 50% shield chance, 50% damage reduction, etc, etc. Likewise for healers but with alacrity thrown in to boot. The same can be applied to any pvp area i.e. Gree Enclave Ilum. This way we can weed out the weak *** players with no skills versus the pro players with skills, without having the crutch of having better gear? Out skill and out strategise rather than out gear? After all, at the highest form of pvp with all participants having equal gear strengths, there are no advantages (i know i am repeating myself but) with all things being equal. That being said, i won't deny the fun when you out gear and skill pwn someone, but that only makes for more QQ. P.S. - As with most of these response replies i feel compelled to defend my own honor by saving i have 2 level 85 valor, or more, toons with min/max EWH gear (now rockin a mix of partisan and conqueror), so really, i am ok with the grind for pvp gear, my suggestion is just that, food for thought. /End super long sentence.
  4. I want it. Bioware make it happen! Instead of the ****** Chiss shadow boxing give us something more awesome. Like a Mandolorian war dance modeled after the Haka. gimme gimme gimme!
  5. I find that in PVE the DPS is best kept out of the way and just to be a good pew pew. There are situations that if your AC can tank a little bit it helps if your tank wipes i.e. Assassin, PT and Juggs. I'm not saying that it's brilliant, in fact, it's not but if you've got the boss down to a quarter health switching stances is better than starting all over again. For PVP I find that having good DPS is far more important than having brilliant healers. 'Cos there's only so much one can do to heal a warzone if the DPS hasn't a clue. That being said, I prefer DPS, the better you get at it, the more meaningful the result.
  6. Having made 2 PTs and having played all 3 trees I would say the PT has been on a slow steady decline. Not having the tremendous burst DPS other classes now have, has somewhat taken us down a notch. But, with a good PVP team or premade PTs still hurt lots. That's without hitting 7k crits. I'd be ok if we got low 6k crits from rail shot (Just a bit up from 5k++). (This may have already occured as I am currently leveling a sin don't kill me for info fail) To play devil's advocate, we do wear heavy armor and now have basic increased mobility coming in the form of hydraulic overrides across all trees. The only reason why we don't last long is because Pyrotechs PTs have been the most focused down targets after healers since the day people figured out a Pyrotech was the business (Almost a year ago). Which makes sense, kill the other team's offense and defense becomes easier. All we need is a tiny tweak. Not a big one. Right now Pyros function more as support DPS in melee range rather than the big time single target destroyers. In the end, this works just as well since shoulder cannon fires even while stunned and ignoring GCD, giving us greater overall utility. I figure a slight increase to crit 6k (For Pyros) and a bigger buff to AP (Additional 2% added to the elemental and internal damage of HEGC) spec tree would be great for the class. Thermal detonator being a DOT isn't a bad deal since you can drop sticky grenade and thermal detonator on the same target, light them up with a flame burst then ruin them with a rail shot (As I am writing this I am reminded that the 4 attacks combined do sometimes amount to more than 12k damage in the span of a very short time). But for all things considered PTs aren't far off from being the gods we once were.
  7. Which developers do you speak of? What servers do they play on? What are their nicknames? I would surely like to talk to one in game. Rather than posting on forums where they only selectively read opinions.
  8. When my mercenary does 6k to 7k crit on the heat-seeker missiles and my PT struggles to get 5k from rail shot or thermal detonator, somethings broken. Especially if i can crit 7k and heal 150k and dps 450k in a single warzone with my merc. I'm all for a buff to the AP/Tactics, I've been saying that since 1.2. It's an awesome tree with so much more potential if we had more percentage added to internal and elemental damage from using the HEGC. Please fix BW.
  9. Yay I'm finally getting the recognition I so desire! Was a good match btw.
  10. I use both. When I run out of mouse buttons and shift + mouse buttons i click for lesser used abilities.
  11. Cool, I'll be starting a new toon tonight.
  12. I'll sign up for this. Who do we contact once on Dalborra?
  13. I'm in. Who do I contact when I'm Dalborra?
  14. To be honest I don't think they will allow the guys who rerolled on different servers to transfer to an APAC server. I'd lose all my gree stuff in the process. Sad.
  15. I hope its a merge with the rest of APAC. Maybe they'll let me bring my Harbinger toons over too. I'd pay for that.

My thoughts on this are: If you're gonna stat bolster at 55 you might as well do away with pvp gear. Make the focus of the game to level and accumulate skill. The comms gained are for custom pvp gear for looks. This way all players will live and die on ability to play and unlocked skills. Otherwise make only 2 pvp groups. 50 to 55 with expertise gear users. 10 to 49 lowby pvp. Just my 2cents.
  17. I've encountered you twice in consecutive warzones and I already hate you (Starmarc).
  18. Gosh, wish I had found this thread earlier. I'd have pvp'ed more yesterday with my guild to bring our stature up LOL.
  19. Thanks guys. Chieftain, we never had taunt wars. Unless you're talking about that time in Corellia's Black Hole... This sounds somewhat suggestive. I like it!
  20. Not that it should impact anything at all, but since leaving threads have become somewhat customary I thought I shall produce one of my own. It has been super fun playing my 1st MMORPG. So much fun that I've compiled a list of things that I shall miss. 1. Killing people in Novare Coast. 2. Killing people in Huttball. 3. Killing people in Civil War. 4. Killing people in Voidstar. 5. Killing people on Ilum. 6. Killing people in the Black Hole. 7. Owning a Tauntaun. 8. Owning an interrogation droid. 9. Getting a random PVP pop that has me group with 2 to 4 Midian players as we wipe the floor with everyone else. 10. And most of all, killing myself by jumping down the many pits on Imperial Fleet after racing on the handrails/guard rails. I've actually got many more things to mention but that would just make this a long read. Suffice it to say my subscription ends November 15 2012. I shall be online until then. Why am I leaving? 'Cos my real life friends unsubbed, I had hoped they would return but now that they're gone, so ends my desire to play the game. And with that, the best looking Powertech Bounty Hunter will be leaving SWTOR indefinitely.
  21. See. If we all left Master D for Harbinger we'd lose all the drama. D:
  22. What server would you propose we invade? I don't mind doing it so long as I have some people to level with. I'd hate to level to 50 again by myself. Took forever.
