I nominate this to be one of THEE stupidest posts....I've ever seen on these forums.

Here here................I'm sure we will see PLENTY more too...before the release!

I can clear a million credits a day....and never step foot off the fleet. Why anyone pays REAL money...on packs...at the "hope" of getting a ultra-rare (and valuable) item, is beyond me. The market is quite simple - if you see something you want out of those packs.....wait a week or two - don't buy right away off the GTN, then buy. The market always get's flooded with these "NEW" items..........snap, some of those flying pets were going for 4 million yesterday, today - they are below 900k! Prices drop fast...........buying the packs for an item you want, is a waste...of money and credits.

I was really happy to see a bunch of new pets introduced....ya, we got our copy/past (change color) ones too.....but this update was a nice change! New items....always better than just re-painting existing!

Isn't that the point... This thread is like me saying "I bought a lottery ticket and DIDN'T win the jackpot....that's b/s"!!! These packs are a gamble, that's the point of them....welcome to the game!

Agreed! I enjoy the extra bonus's that the market provide. We all had this game.....without the market for a long time - and I enjoy the game far more now, that I did before.

I've never understood why everyone is so frisky for this species - personally....I wouldn't make a new toon, there are a lot better species that could introduced.....

That's what happens when you bring a game back from the dead....you now have some wiggle room to properly test games prior too release them...even to the PTS. I think I'd take this as a pretty good sign...

I'd like to say everyone here is smart enough to realize, that if you have a PC - and I'm guessing you do, because your positing on this thread - that your aware you can call for FREE via Skype right? Why would anyone call from a phone anyways? What...your PC doesn't allow outbound calling...yet you can play an MMO? Or you were smart enough to load this forum - but not smart enough to see that Skype #? I've called once....put the "hold" onto my computers speakers and walked away till I heard someone pick up.........it surprising to even SEE threads like this. A "smart" customer...pre-orders something, for a cheaper price...that he/she's going to just end up purchasing down the road anyways...and probably paying more, because that "smart" customer...didn't pre-order.

When you buy a CC pack - do they tell you whats in it before you open it? You have an "idea" of what "could" be in it.... Do you stop celebrating Christmas, because you don't know what's under the Christmas tree? You've been give information - if your not happy with the amount...then I suggest you wait until the expansion launches - Google, Makeb info.. - watch YouTube vids of all the boss fights....................THEN, make your decision. What the heck is the point in telling us EVERY detail and EVERY piece of content that are going to release in the expansion? I don't WANT to know! It's nice to have something to look forward to...... BTW - a little research into the threads can go a long way to answer your "concerns" : Short of them telling you what color the flowers are going to be....not sure what more people really expect...

Then don't pre-order...who cares? I can promise you one thing though - if after Jan 7, the $10 price goes up....because you DIDN'T pre-order.....you'll be whining about it for months to come!

+1 It's true...every person who is reluctant...or "waiting for more information".............is just gonna buy it anyways - regardless of if they tell you EVERYTHING...or NOTHING. It is a massive content drop....people are going to buy it.....and people are going to come back to the game, because of it. I'm quite optimistic with the future of TOR..........I don't see this game getting it's plug pulled anytime soon.

I believe - subs will pay $10 whether you buy the expansion NOW.....or buy the expansion when the expansion releases. I have seen no information that says the price is going to change for sub's/or F2P after the 7th. Pre-ordering (ordering prior TO January 7, 2013) simply gives you 5 days early access - don't pre-order...your still gonna pay $10.....you just won't get access until the expansion goes live for everyone. Feel free to correct me on this...............

Nope...he's got the right link - but you are correct..........there is nothing in that article that we haven't already read in the SOG#2 article. IGN has a broader audience than just people who would normally see the SOG information via this site............it's a re-post of what's here....but still a good thing that they are pushing TOR info to the gaming world - probably drive some more interest in the game, which is always a plus!
