  1. I have a level 60 toon who is currently on SoR. I would like to play LoS with this toon, but can't imagine going through KotFE and KotET again. Is there any way for me to skip KotFE and KotET when I get to it, and just go straight to Onslaught? Will my ship terminal give me access to Onslaught once I finish SoR? Is there a cartel unlock I can buy to skip KotFE and KotET? Help me, SWTOR forums, you're my only hope.
  2. I started playing at launch but stopped my subscription after KotET. I just resubscribed and used a token to start a new level 70 Mercenary for Onslaught. The algorithm gave me Armortech, Scavenging, and Underworld Trading, all at 600. Are crew skills still relevant to the game? Are these decent crew skills or should I abandon them and start crew skills from scratch? Thanks in advance.
  3. Questions about stats and gear for PvP Scrappers: Is the stat priority still Accuracy (105%) > Surge (70%) > Power > Crit (25%)? Which PvP armor set do you recommend? Thanks in advance for your responses.
  4. This is an interesting idea. Have you thought of holding "clinics" on open-world PvP planets like Ilum or Oricon? The teacher could have 1-3 students in his/her class, and they could go up against a pre-made team that was designed specifically to help the teacher instruct his/her students. The closest analogy I can think of is how martial arts are taught in a dojo. Ideally, there would need to be communication between the teacher's group and the pre-made group, so the teacher could tell the pre-made when to attack, when to stop, what type of attack to use, etc. They could practice drills together to learn the fundamentals (e.g., how a scoundrel can respond to typical attacks from a juggernaut) but also have free-for-all to see how well the student has mastered the skills. I'm not sure I'm good enough to teach sawbones healing, but I would be happy to help out in some other way.
  5. Yeah, Cerin has given me fits many times. He's a good player who deserves respect.
  6. RIP Hotfoot. You were brave to the very end. http://pic.twitter.com/6nW3E2cHtC

  11. Hey! I wanted to leave a big SHOUT-OUT to all of the Pubs and Imps who PvPed on Ilum during the latest Gree event. Yeah, there was some grief and drama at times, but I could always count on some PvP when I logged in. All in all, it was a blast and I'm glad to be on the server with you all! (I would have posted this sooner, but haven't been able to get to the forums until now.)
  12. I don't have a team, but am willing to join a team if someone wants a Sawbones. I am free on Wednesday nights but not Tuesdays. Send me a whisper! Thanks for organizing this. I'm looking forward to it!
  13. Fellow Sawbones, what's your damage rotation when you solo dailies or other PvE content? At the moment, I'm fully geared Obroan with 2 pieces of Arkanian for the +15% KC set bonus. My ranged accuracy is 94% and my tech accuracy is about 105%. Crit and Surge are about 30% and 70%, respectively. Against a group, I usually start off with Flyby on the mobs, drop SRMP and KC on myself, and then rotate through TG, VS, and maybe QS. When I get in melee range, I'll add BW, and possibly DK followed by BB. I'll throw in FoB and DS if I need to regain power, FG if I need to mez someone, and SRMP and KC as needed. Rinse and repeat. Against a solo mob, I often start off with Sneak and SF, and then move to some variation of the above rotation. Honestly, I don't have a set plan for solo mobs. If things go south, I can always have HK-51 jump in and heal him throughout the fight, but frankly that gets boring. So, I'm curious what other Sawbones do when they solo dailies or other PvE content. Thanks in advance!
  14. A big shout-out to all the Pubs and Imps who showed up for impromptu PvP at Outlaw's Den tonight! The usual PvP gang was there as well as some newer folks. Thanks to all who came. Now let's do this again soon!
  15. Howdy Ebon Hawk, Shout-outs to Alacris and Dejjaad for being great players to run with on 55 warzones. Shout-out to Fanteema for being a great partner in the pre-55 warzones. Thanks to L'yss, Kym, Sevrin, Dock, and others from The Core for inviting me to run warzones with you this weekend. You guys are great! Add me to your friends list and I'll heal for you anytime! Thanks also to Mcshake from Aisthesis for queuing with me last night. You are a great guard and made my healing role much easier in some pretty tough matches. Thanks also to the various 55 Sawbones who have patiently answered my gearing questions over the last few weeks. Your helpfulness is part of what makes me enjoy Ebon Hawk so much. Let me know if I can ever return the favor. A note to Cara on the Imp side: You are great at harassing healers! You make my job much harder, but you are a respected opponent. See you in the warzones!
  16. That's a great question, and one that I have too. What stats are most important for a DPS Hybrid Sage, and what are the benchmarks that a DPS Sage should reach on these stats? Recently, there was a guy in a WZ who criticized my Force Accuracy rating, which at the time was sitting at about 101%. He told me that I should get that rating at least to 105% or 106%. I've talked to others who say that Force Accuracy doesn't matter for a DPS Hybrid Sage, and that I should try to increase my Alacrity and Activation Speed (the faster I cast, the more damage I do), but how high should it be? Others have said that I will get the most bang for my buck if I augment for Willpower. Again, how much Willpower should I go for before I start augmenting other stats? So, I've just been experimenting on my own to see what works the best. It would be great if others with my experience would offer their two cents.
  17. I play a 50 DPS Sage with a hybrid TK-Balance build. I mostly do PVP with an occasional FP. Our guild doesn't have any rated teams yet, so I do unrated pugs for most WZs. I have a few questions about build, stats, and gear, and am hoping you can offer some guidance. Build I used to run a full Balance spec, but now I'm experimenting with a hybrid TK-Balance build. Here is my build: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#600hZbsMMdRbZcrcRsMz.2 I chose Telekinetic Balance so I can spam Telekinetic Throw, chose Presence of Mind to give my TT a chance to proc an instant-cast Disturbance, and chose Tidal Force to give my Disturbance a chance to proc an instant-cast Telekinetic Wave. Would you give me some feedback on this build? Would you recommend any changes? Stats Given my role as DPS and my hybrid build, what stats do I want to maximize with augments? I've heard some say that Willpower is the best option, but I've heard others say that I should augment Power (for increased damage), Accuracy (for increased hit chance with force powers), Critical, and Expertise. Here are my relevant stats. Can you give me some guidance on which stats to maximize? Are there any benchmarks that I want to make sure I hit with these stats? Presence: 289 Endurance: 1499 Willpower: 1476 Expertise: 1346 Valor: 68 Force Bonus Damage: 677.8 Force Bonus Heal: 489.5 Accuracy: 104.15% Critical Chance: 34.58% Critical Multiplier: 78.17% Force Regen Rate: 8.0 Activation Speed: 8.36% Health: 17665 Armor: 2613 Damage Reduction: 19.48% Defense Chance: 10.00% Gear Currently, I have the WH Force-Master armor for head, chest, gloves, belt, legs, boots, bracers, focus, and lightsaber. I have 2 BM Force-Master Systems for implants, and 2 BM Relics of Forbidden Secrets. Also, I just picked up the EWH Force-healers MK-1 Relay for my ear. I have most of my gear augmented (ripped out my WH mods and put them in adaptive armor). My plan is to get the rest of the EWH Force-Master armor. What do you recommend for implants and relics? I've heard some say that the Rakata/BH implants and relics are best for this, but I'm not sure why that is because they don't have expertise. Thanks in advance for any guidance you can offer. I'm done research on my own but have hit a wall and need some guidance.
