10 Good
  1. I see it as bad business. Good in the short-term only. Quality prevails, not... this. One person could run the cartel market. It doesn't take much know-how or manpower to copy-paste THIS armor over HERE and attach a price tag. So there's this one guy being paid to run the show, and many, many players paying for him to do so. Eventually, hopefully people will realize the scam and see that nothing new is being added, and no real work is being done for the money they are paying. Oh, sorry, some things may be re-textured. So one guy doing the market and any 12 year old with Photoshop re-texturing.
  2. I think voice-overs this good do cost quite a bit. Comparing to DCUO is... wrong. Those voice-overs are awful, with the exception of Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy. Most sound like they just found people on the street, or from some anime, where the voice-overs are almost always terrible.
  3. For things like the Revan mask clipping, the fact that the hood stays down, when it is also up, the canisters on the CZ-13K not connecting to the chest, just floating in space(more errors like these and not enough space to write), no, they can't possibly take pride in that. These are all easy fixes, and should have been noticed while making this stuff. Easy as in, one man, and a few minutes time. They can't possibly be THAT understaffed. These are things someone should be fired for, with whatever is the opposite of a letter of recommendation. The people doing some of these models and textures seriously have no place in the gaming industry. I very much hope that someone with a love of MMOs, gaming, and Star Wars bring us a new Star Wars MMORPG. I do enjoy the game, but things like that really take me out of it sometimes. I probably won't continue my sub, and I'm not sure how long the fun I AM having will last.
  4. When you first see Lokin transform, during the story scene, he looks awesome. When you have him transform as your companion, he looks awful. The model is just awkward looking, the way his arms stick out, the way he stands, the shoulderplates. I'd like to see him looking like the rakghoul Hulk-thing as he he first appeared. That is all:)
  5. Looks matter, in all things. I just hit 50, and now have to choose between being somewhat gimped, or looking like a complete fool. Personal style is very important. No appearance tab is nonsense to me. People don't just wear what they find or are given. If visuals didn't matter, we'd all be playing D&D instead of this. As for crafters, it's your choice to craft, no one made you. I'll go even further and say, appearance-wise, anyone should be able to wear anything. Clothes and armor are not just going to pop off of you when trying to wear them and say, "whoops, you're not right for this". Heavy, medium and light should only be there as a mechanic. Visually, it doesn't matter. A quick glance at history will show, whatever armor is made, a weapon is soon made that will penetrate it.
  6. For the purpose of this post, I'd say "good" runs the latest stuff on high, at the very least, whereas "amazing" runs everything on as high as possible+mods+mods+ENB+whatever else because your machine is too awesome for whatever it is you're playing.
  7. Some Jedi robes that looks like robes would be nice. The weird shiny tight vinyl things called robes in this game look like, well, weird shiny tight vinyl things. The giants pauldrons don't help, either. SWG's robes looked fantastic.
  8. I have not been playing long, but so far, I like this game quite a bit. However, I have noticed many things in this game that seem lackluster, severely dated, (more negative things go here), et cetera... While reading discussions about such things, in-game and out, often I see something along the lines of, "Well most people have @#$^%& computers." I feel like this simply can not be true. Someone has to be buying all these nice new cards out there, and using them for more than a coaster. So, I'm wondering, does your computer suck? Is it amazing? Or just good enough to run everything you throw at it on high-ultra settings? I'm not interested in individual specs, vague answers will do.
