Hmm, I noticed that too. What would that mean as far as canon placement for Exar Kun and Naga Sadow? We know Sadow's spirit was defeated as seen in the "Peace for the Republic?" video and Exar Kun's spirit is still around, but I guess they don't have to include them. What would lead Revan there anyways?

While a skilled gunslinger can carry his/her weight in an operation, we are not arguing if it is viable or if the "utility" helps groups or not. It's that other classes do just that, with possibly more utility and a simpler rotation that was just buffed on a whim giving them higher dps as well. On my commando or sage I can bubble/heal/cleanse at any time, not on some silly 3 minute cooldown, and it helps tremendously with keeping people up in countless situations (like right after bulwark goes down on draxus for heals). I did not mind before, but as flyby and overall damage has fallen behind, usefulness in aoe or just pure damage has been lost in the name of "utility" whereas other classes who already have had it for some time get buffed without second thought. Please change SOMETHING, if it means modifying cleanse mechanics or aoe damage but not single target, so be it. We're just sacrificing dps for something that is not even accurate compared to other classes.

O_O I need to look into whatever crystal ball you found...then again I suspected as much myself. Looks like I'll just use this double XP week to grind out another class for whatever flavor-of-the-month class comes up next. A little piece of utility does not compensate for the current gap in dps. Bioware acts like they do not like the groups that run with 2 sentinel 2 gunslinger format, yet you do not see any sentinels being gimped of their huge numbers AND they get inspiration.

Thanks a bunch! Rearranging my fillers helped and I'm getting things sorted out now. I found this post by Lunzagazer and it helped reinforce it, but I seem to be having some energy problems. I have 234 crit, based on the people's AMR profiles who are at the top of the leaderboards...and I do have the 4pc set bonus to make QD a little cheaper. Edit: It's specifically between the DOTS -> WS -> QD -> SS -> {LS}CB -> WS DOTS -> WS -> SabC{CH}->QD -> SS -> WS when I have some energy problems

Simply put, I feel like my dps parse numbers are weak, and as I want to run nightmare difficulty, I need to work things out. I believe my gear is not the problem, other than a few things that may give me a minor bump in dps, and I know my rotation thoroughly. I even know fight mechanics just fine, I'm just uncomfortable with my numbers. I'll link my recent parse and AMR so someone could hopefully see something I'm looking over.... After playing the 4 flashpoints myself, I'm pretty sure whatever it was Lord Goh found had to have been a holocron, weapon, or something that could be loaded onto a ship. Also, didn't Goh's strange silence scream possession to you, likely by the Emperor? I'm also thinking about how Theron said you need to do some digging with a person who's outside of "the system" and is neutral (The Shroud? ).

People already posted the mail that all classes get in 2.7 from when it hit the PTS a month ago. Yup. It will be interesting to see him in his true form...

While the Shroud doesn't seem to fit the role of "mysterious, manipulative, fate-revealing old man" that I want to fill with Calphayus, it is clear that the Shroud will play some part in the upcoming story. What significance could the Shroud make in an ancient relic hunt with cross faction destruction?

Today, Bioware put up a State of the Galaxy post from the Shroud containing a lot of information on how things are going in the galaxy at the moment. I understand, Darth_Wicked, that Bioware wants to keep players' decisions unaltered, but I think this is more than a simple nod to a single possible outcome of the Oricon story arc.

Beware spoilers for the Dawn of the Jedi comics If you have not already, I recommend watching the cut scenes of Imp/Pub story lines with the flashpoints in 2.7 on YouTube, Dulfy put them up. Also each class receives in game mail, much that is not significant, but the Sith Warrior is told that the Emperor IS alive. It is hard to think of the supposed "ground shaking event" that Bioware refers to not involving the Emperor, and his story is intertwined with Revan's, so we'll probably see him too. There have been some things going on in my mind after reading the Dawn of the Jedi comics, watching the cut scenes from 2.7, and thinking about the more recent Swtor story: -In the Korriban flashpoints, final Sith and Jedi that you fight both vaguely mention an "old man" who obviously told them about an event that would happen, including their own deaths, as they act surprised that it happened so soon. This probably means it was a recent development. As to the identity of the "old man", Revan and the Emperor could be trying to pit each faction against each other, but Revan doesn't necessarily look old and the Emperor will probably be looking for a more suitable host body than an old man. It is possible that Calphayus is manipulating these people. If you did not know, he is the sole survivor of the Dread Masters on the Light Sided Republic Oricon arc, and we always speculated the Masters' connection to the Emperor and his appearance would fit. The last bit that made me legitimately consider him is he was the Dread Master associated with visions, time, and prophecy, giving him the ability to tell the Jedi about the doomsday thing that "we cannot stop." -What relic was "under" the temple on Tython that the Sith Goh and company where searching for that would be some super amazing victory for the Empire? In the Dawn of the Jedi comics, basically the Kwa was an advanced race that made Infinity Gates, similar to the Gree's Hypergates as seen in TFB, that taught the Rakata how to use the force. The Rakata became a vicious, Dark side obsessed Empire that killed much of the Kwa and enslaved everyone else. In the comics, the Rakata invade Tython, trying to take the Infinity Gate that the Kwa built there to use as a weapon. Not only could the Infinity Gates be used as a way to travel, but they can decimate planets with Infinity Waves. If you remember in TFB, a lot of the dialogue of the Dread Masters was done by Calphayus, and it is possible the Dread Masters were on Asation with a motive that we did not know about. Tython, Lehon, Dathomir, and a moon in the unknown regions are the places where Infinity Gates are known to be, so while it would be a good reason to search Tython, it could lead to Lehon being a new planet in an expansion. What do you think?

Since Anakin's mother was 100% human, he was just born of her and 100% human as well. The force wasn't literally the father, just made it to where Shmi could have a son. That's biologically though, the other things were surely changed. I haven't read Plagueis though and I imagine it goes in more detail

pfft george has said a lot and much has changed over the last bit with disney and new movies. Yeah he said that stuff, but he also said sidious is the most powerful sith lord and that there would never be any more star wars movies, but you see what has happened. It wont directly retcon anything, it's story will just take more importance than the current EU. How do you think it will happen 20 years in the future and ignore EU? We can probably expect to see a few big name characters such as the Solo children or Mara Jade, but it's not just deleting everything and starting from scratch. BTW George's original story has "influenced" this a little but he's not having nearly as big of a part in this trilogy as people think. He hasn't even talked to JJ. In his original plot, the OT had to do with defeating Vader(not Luke's father in that one) then the next trilogy involved defeating Sidious and Luke training Leia. So much has changed and adapted that they cannot come close to what was originally planned.

Yeah. Maybe she will somehow fall to the dark side or become influenced by the emperor and we can kill her in an operation or flashpoint.
