I am glad your definition is the one that matters to the entire fan base.
That's why you see I used the word "I" in my statement. The fan base can make up their own minds...but to me a founder isn't someone who pulls the ripcord on the parachute at the 1st sign the game needed some work... the real and dedicated fans of the game and to me the true founders are the ones who saw the potential..stuck it out and helped the devs change the game to where it is now 3 years later. The active dedicated fanbase that helped further the games development through all the issues. Founder is just a title for someone who laid the bucks down before launch..i consider someone who bought the game after launch and stuck it out more of a true founder of the game then someone who left. They showed the dedication to the developers work and were willing to lok past the issues and become part of the process of change.
Thats like one of my old employees who quit during our rocky 1st year coming back claiming they help start the company....14 years later its the ones who stuck it out through all the crap we dealt with are the ones i give credit to and they are the ones i rewarded with healthy salaries and benefits now..for being there when we needed them the most and showing us the patience we needed as we struggled the 1st year.

people i consider "real" founders are the ones who actually stuck it out and let the game get better as they knew it would because they saw the potential.....Those are the true fans and true founders of the game

if you were out actual real money out of your own pocket as in real $$ spent buying Cartel coins..then i would say yes you might have an argument..
this is no different then asking for a refund on monopoly money...its non existent except in a Video game "currency" that can be earned more of at any time without even having to get out of your chair....
If your that jacked about it then don't level up your skills until after it goes free this week...roll a new toon while you wait...

12x was far too much and leveled far too fast. I could see them offering 50% boosts or 1hr 100% boosts to those who want it....and i would only agree to this since it would be optional.
many of us play for the stories...and yes..re-playing the story lines is fun to do again.

Look dude, I play SWTOR in my free time and that is why I care, and spend time to post if I have some issue around it. By the way, time, I'm not buying illegal game coins from goldsellers, I'm not a teenager, who can farm all day long in game credits and he don't even feel it like a grind and waste of time and we talke about in game credit loss coz of my loyal support by preordering a game expansion in the first line AKA time loss coz of loyality and trust.
I simply would not feel confortable if this issue will not be fix. I will feel my self like some one who was cheeted. And believe me, when you will feel your self cheeted and it's even will be around rl money and promotion of a product, you will have that few sec as well to writte a few lines. Till it's trivial for you, I can imagine, that you should be very young time millioner, who don't have to care about anything - what is a very good perriod of your life and love it : ) But that is the reason why not you are the person who will sopport this game in the future by buying cartel coins and preordering expansions.

How do you rate a most loyal customer?
It seems to me some of you are saying you are most loyal when you purchased a expansion prior to launch but that in my book is not a most loyal customer. (Note: I brought the expansion when it was first announced.)
The most loyal customer are the ones that have stayed here through the beginning and did not leave no matter how things got. Those to me are the loyal ones, not the ones that purchased an expansion.
I know people on these forums that have been here since 2008 or earlier and they have stuck by bioware through everything and those I would consider the most loyal customers.

Loyalty is shown when people stick with something knowing its potential and seeing it through... I also ordered this expansion as soon as the store had it up..same with last expansion and started playing at launch and happily forked out for a 6 month sub ever since and will continue to do so.

We who believe in your game the most preordered the expansion on the first line. Now it seems that it cost us not just rl money but a few mill in game credits as well, till we had to pay that incredible amount of credit till the early acess of 3.0 launched for skills (by the way, I have no clue, why I had to buy force barrier nearly in every lvl from 55 to 60 when it did not changed in cool-down time, duration and effect...and a few other skills like that on the list.)
I honestly hope, that we get back all of our credits what we spent on skills (in a very confusing way, so buying skills all over again and again till they have no magnitude, duration change or cd change)
Simply mail back the credits what players spent on skills till 3.0 early acess.
If you don't act like that, then the preorder of the expansion is a punishment actually! A punishment of does players who believe you the most and support the game on the first line.
It would be so frustrating, to don't get back that credit, that I can't even describe it...
crying about virtual money...in a make believe world in a Video game....
Wish i had that much time on my hands to worry about trivial things that much.

How many did you lvl to 55?
Did ranked rewards get in the way of lvling some of your alts?
Did some events that were thrown in distract you as well?
Are your eyes so burnt out from PVE that you cant even think about another class mission?
Have come to reality that you lvled so so many alts and now you need to lvl them again to 60?
Did it help you or did it hurt your experience with the game somehow?
I would like to know feedback on this pre order boost.
P.s. I'm just happy I got to see all class stories. It woulda taken me about 5 years to do them all since before the event I only had 2 lvl 55 bounty hunters.
TBH none..
i stopped playing until the 12x bonus is finished. I was leveling too fast and i like to take my time..+ i was leveling way ahead of other friends who are waiting until release to buy the expansion..so TBH im not sad to see the 12x XP go.

thats 180 hours.

If you go into a new expansion and expect perfection and a complete bug free expereience ..
then its yourself only your fooling.
If you want "bugfree"..don't play an expansion or a game at release.
period.

12 xp is fine..
make it an option and not something that isnt an option.
The system is in place just requires a tweek.
We have optional Xp boosts available already..
rename the stupid thing to 12x xp to create a new boost, make the toggled "buff" last for X amount of hours ..if the player wants to use it fine..if not also fine..
choice is a wonderful thing..especially if its being paid for.

you'll have to excuse ikinai and their fellow troll friends in this thread. They are part of the garbage pile this community has turned into and a great example of my reasoning.
they think everyone needs to exist in the same bubble they do and needs to follow those rules as well or they are wrong and their ideas are either stupid or unfounded because it parts from their little idea of twhat the norm should be.

It's a great community overall...despite a few trolls and antagonists.
What kind of an answer would someone expect to this request when the answer is so simple...PATIENCE! They didn't need to pre-order, knowing full well that this would be their "bonus"...The people complaining created this issue themselves, voluntarily, and are now asking for a solution?! The solution was simple...WAIT! The XP boost was the BIGGEST selling point of the entire pre-order imo...pretending it wasn't obvious that you'd get it is trolling.
ITS NOT TROLLING..I work in remote areas of the country and in the far north with NO internet access what so ever outside satellite which is extremely expensive and not excatly something i can just jump on and enjoy a game with when ever i feel bored. . i bought the expansion to take advantage of the 7 days early access because that corresponds with my next vacation which i get little of . When i am on the road i am literally in the middle of no where and cannot just "login to swtor when ever i feel like it to make a purchase and the purchase HAD to be made before i fly out this weekend. i am leaving for one of the my trips to remote areas starting this Saturday and will not be back until December 2nd when its too late to pre-order.
Unfortunately the real trolls and children of the forums cannot see there are people playing this game with far different lives then their little enclosed boxes they have come to expect others live in as well. I placed my preorder so when i do return i will have early acess to the expansion..i was only asking about a toggle. and no i couldn't have waited to order it considering starting next week i am literally going to be about as far north in the Yukon as you can get where there is still civilization and the week after that i will be in a remote diamond mine doing final checks for winter shutdown.
welcome to the world ladies..not everyone fits into the little box you imagine they do. and no the community is not great..its turned into a crap pile of garbage people who cannot see past their own little lives ...aside from the few good people still left these forums and they know who they are...they are a garbage heap

The forum community here is TBH toxic at best. there are good people obviously and i try to put the trolls on the Iggy list as soon as i find them but too many kiddies without the concept of differences...but at least they will make good little mindless puppets for someone when they grow up..lol
either way..I'm just shocked that in a game and a genre that is built around choice and customization..they didn't give the option to exercise a choice in game of how the boost was enabled. I get i didn't HAVE to buy it..but then again im not going to justify my individual situation and my reasons either for buying it when i did.

If you're currently leveling an alt, the boost to xp doesn't stop you from doing what you want to do. I'd say if you want to be a completionist you still can be, the xp boost just gives you the benefit of getting your important class abilities faster.Also, you don't necessarily have to use the xp boost. You can always wait until the xpac and Disciplines to level an alt for a different experience. I preorderd the xpac so I could level an agent past Hoth for the crit buff. Since then I haven't touched an alt. I'd rather wait for Disciplines first.
I'll have to do that. I am a Completionist..i figured considering the multiple game play styles something as big as a x12 xp boost they would have given an option like the current XP boosts you can get given to you or buy in the Cartel market.. you can use them or choose not to.. I never have used them. i like taking my time..
i was trying to start a few new toons on the Harbinger server as i have been on Shadowlands since launch ..they said their was an Xop boost but i cant see where they laid out how it was implemeted. I assumed like i said it was like the other ones. Click on it and it activates for a period of time..dont want to use it..it stays unused in your inventory or you can destroy it. (<< this would have been a better option as not everyone plays an mmo the same)
i;ll just stick with my alts for the time being and 55's and wait to start a new toon until after the expansion comes out.

It's not mandatory. You had the option to wait 'til 12/1 to pre-order and still get the Revan statue. You have the option to not do class quests. You have the option to unsubscribe if it will cancel in time to halt the 12x XP. You have the option to make an F2P account. You have the option to play your 55s if you have any.
You pre-ordered knowing about the 12x XP boost, you knew they had never made XP boost events optional before, yet this time you expect different?
Does not compute.
i bought the expansion when i had the money to buy it.....
an option to turn it on or off and asking for it is perfectly reasonable.

I appreciate the XP boost...
but it really needs to be an option given not something that is mandatory. I can see the value in marketing terms and for many players they would love this and i wouldnt want to take that away..but for others a meteroric rise isnt always what we are looking for.
I am others would also like the option to toggle it off...just now on alderaan...barely enough credits to buy anything..and just got off choosing my dps or tank path..and haven't even chosen my crafting yet and i'm level 16?
no i cant draw credits from other toons or legacy boosts as i am rolling a new toon on a new server.
As i said love the xp boost..but it needs to be optional and up to the player to decide if they want to take advantage of it. maybe give the toggle a 1-6 hour cool off before it can be turned off or re enabled..

I'd much prefer that they kept the system for inviting the same, but that all of your toons were consolidated under a single legacy, or chosen character. So you would still have to invite each character individually, but they didn't waste space showing up as different people, when they're really the same account.
It might look something like this

This would have to have an "opt in" option for the guild. There are class-specific guilds that may not want your new Jedi alt in that all-Trooper guild.
then make the "opt i"n option toggle-able on the guild admins side ...

I tend to re-roll toons if i dont like how a build is going or just because i like the storyline so much i want to replay that story since it may have been a while , or ........many reasons why we would create new toons.
Its not a big pain, but still a pain to have to go into the guild and get someone to add the new ALT to the Guild.
how about an option to add the account to the guild and hence all alts created on that account, on that server are automatically listed with the guild.

do you people even realize how easy it is for the credit spammers to make multiple accounts at a time,... Bioware can be banning them by the bushel full and they will be back with 10 more 30 minutes later.
just because you THINK they are not doing anything, doesn't mean they aren't trying to curb them..but the credit spammers have the ability to create multiple accounts at a time , have the people to do it and have the desire to do it.
if you make the account creation system too hard new players may not want to join the game, make it too easy and you get potential issues with spammers. Its a never ending battle.
See a spammer, click the name , report spam...move on with life.
as for the "innocent people getting caught up"...BS !!! there is nothing innocent about someone going out of the game to an advertised site selling credits and plopping down real money to buy them..they know EXACTLY what they are doing and are NOT innocent and IMO should be banned for it as well if they are caught and proven they bought from a known spam account.
