  1. Not really. Scourge should never have been made a companion at all with his background and instead been a light and dark opportunity to deal with him in the escape. I was under the impression, after playing kotor 2 that the Exile had never actually met Revan. That it was Malek who recruited the Exile into the war. So I don't get the whole Exile and Revan being regarded as friends thing. Also with being called Revans student, Scourge was misinformed, the Exile had apprentices and was not a student of Revans. All the things my Exile found out in kotor2 about Revan, she would have gone after him but not to save him.
  2. I have just started my latest sorcerer, my canon Inquisitor. I have played the Inquisitor story enough to realize that my canon inquisitor will most likely be neutral. These points I am accumulating outside of conscious decisions are going to mess things up. My options seem to be to switch allegiance throughout the story to lessen the impact of these points to my Inquisitors story. And to keep a running tally myself of what my story based dark/light side points are. I can see this being a problem for my sith warrior as well, part of the class story in more than place is affected by dark side/light side standing. It is a pity there is no netural button along with the light and dark ui buttons.
  3. I agree with op. I'm sick of hearing the Outlander title and seeing it on gear. The titles Darth and Master Jedi should have been recorded for the alliance base conversations. My Sith and Jedi have earned these titles that are still in use by the Empire and Republic. And I have seen the rank commander used by a few republic forces during the planetary quests and they seem to be of a middle rank. I play all of my characters for their uniqueness, I really don't want to lose this.
  4. The zakuul knights guarding the throne were a bit squishy I thought. Defeated by a couple of turrets and bunch of droids with blasters. They are supposed to be nearly impossible for jedi to defeat I remember being told in a previous chapter.
  5. I would have preferred another explanation for the jedi and sith's inability to defeat these knights other than a special connection to the force. I mean force bonds connected to arcann and vaylen instead, making their devoted knights more powerful than they would be normally. Anything other than what we got.
  6. The Inquisitor is one of my favorite class stories. I've played full ls and ds but the best was my Inquisitor who ended up with the neutral title. Smart, snarky and only a little crazy and loyal only to herself. The weakness in the story I felt was there being too many rescues from certain death by underlings. After the third time this happened I no longer felt the inquisitor was powerful at all, just fortunate to have devoted servants and a relative. I would have prefered the option to refuse the appointment at the end of the story and have one of the surviving dark council members become her patron instead. Then it would not have felt so out of place in the later expansions having the SI running about like a hired mercenary. The first hand experience of the backstabbing sith hierarchy and building a powerbase was entertaining. As was the process of selecting an apprentice. Xalek has grown on me and now he's my preferred apprentice from all the class stories, mostly because he's got no special abilities and he's a Sith. I think it was Makeb that Darh Marr accused my Inquisitor of paranoia. I wish she had been able to lecture him with all her near death experiences from her fellow Sith's treachery starting all the way from her time at Korriban. He would be wishing he'd never said anything.
  7. Perhaps the weapon may work against valk as well. None of the few in game explanations work for me though for them depending on this non force sensitive. She feels very out of place in that regard. I was going to restart this character but I've decided to make her my test subject. We'll see how well the alliance does with a complete loon in charge. I have to say though I'm not too happy with the weapon being the main point of this chapter. My inquisitor/consular have a lightsaber but it's not used in combat. I would have preferred an option to have a focus built for them instead.
  8. My ds imperial agent has received a message from shan so it appears that the choice of not choosing between the two was a mistake. My ds Imperial agent is fanatically devoted to the empire and sith so i'll probably end up restarting her. Oh well, never mind, I get to see Darth Jadus again. Backing out of dialogue in the chapters is a giant pain in the neck. It looks like I'll have to pick a character as a test subject and choose all dialogue options and record the responses. I'd prefer not to make that type of mistake with the characters that I do run through the chapters with.
  9. I'm not liking the latest chapter much either. I just finished it with my Imperial Agent. I am starting to lose what sort of person she was. Chapter 12 I feel the story is, despite its occasional dark side choices pushing my characters towards being the type of character the story wants them to be. There's not much fun in that. I think most of my other characters are going to stay in happy ignorance pre fallen empire.
  10. I have started putting my companion in passive mode before using Cloaking screen. I also found this agro problem with companions when using cloaking screen while leveling. The amount of npc's ignoring stealth in fe was very annoying, it's like they forgot to check for stealthed characters when scripting the far too frequent ambushes. Prolific backstabbing is fun and I want it back.
  11. Yes I do, it's one of the things I dislike about Fallen Empire, along with being called commander. Why Commander, it isn't even a high rank. Lana can have the title commander I'll have General, seeing as there is a precedent for a jedi being called general. I much prefered the Sith, Jedi, Hunter titles used through all the previous chapters. I lke " hey boss" better than Outlander.
  12. Imperial Intelligence becomes Sith Intelligence no matter what you do. The blackmail ending was removed. Loyal to Sith Personally I preferred this one because of dialogue with Marr and the Keepers. Other two endings Apart from a couple of diffent lines of dialogue during the above everything else was the same. One I've yet to play is
  13. The ship doesn't feel quite so empty with Treek aboard. I bought a ship merchant droid because the ship felt a bit creepy after fe. Treek is always acquired and fed gifts, the others get nothing now.
  14. Kaliyo, top of my list of mismatched companions. Even pushing Qyzon out of first place. I only brought her along for a full playthrough once to see what she had to say. Now I prefer the robots company. "We're going places Agent" she says in one instant. She seems to think I'm like her and that I like her. I would like her a lot more if I could toss her off the ship with a "You are going places, just not with me" I cannot fathom why Imperial intelligence would even consider this person to be suitable as crew on an Intelligence ship in the first place. I take the robot along now, too many planets before the next available companion. At the end of the Balmorra class story, her voice spoke the dialogue even though she was not there. Then the view switched to centre on her standing outside the building on glitchy terrain. So I either take the ship robot, hk 51 or treek, anyone but Kaliyo.
  15. The incredibly bad fps was very off putting. In the common areas my pc could barely cope. As far as the ambushes go, they were extremely annoying. There were too many of them, if we're going to have an ambush make it a tough fight and only a couple of them. The range of the enemy intelligence agents was ridiculous. I liked the interaction with Kaliyo even though she is not one of my favourite characters, and the end companion conflict back at the base. HK was entertaining enough, although I thought it would be an actual mission to acquire him. I only hope we are not going to be disappointed with options when shows his face again.
  16. I am happy Koth the hypocrite is gone. I hope I'm wrong but i suspect we won't be able to kill him when he makes another appearance. He was fine with being part of an invading force until he had to look the people in the eye that they were killing. My agent made this threat and intends to carry it out. Not because she can't stand the guy, but because he threatened the alliance by trying to steal the ship. If I could have given that engineer a pay rise I would have. I am also don't spend any time or effort maximizing doubtful companions, I have a feeling Senya is eventually going to give my agent trouble.
  17. It took a while for me to adjust to this character, the voice acting and the slower pace of the class story. She has become my favourite character, and the story made her seem like such a different type of jedi than my dear old jedi knight. (who seems like a thug with a lightsaber by comparison now). The voice acting seemed to improve as the chapters progressed but that could be I was just used to it by then.
  18. It would have been different. The pc would be dead if they had refused valks gift, Thexan would have followed through with his fathers command to kill the pc. The pc accepting Valks power would have been interesting with Thexan alive, one big happy family. I hope eventually we find out what that power sharing was going to do.
  19. I have played SW, SI, JK, and Imperial Agent so far. The end result is my sith warrior (since deleted) no longer feels or acts like a sith. Same with the Sith Inquisitor (soon to be deleted) Jedi Knight same but from a jedi perspective. The Imperial agent will probably be the one I will play fallen empire through because Imperial agent story spoiler And I am not very attached to this character so I don't really care what happens to them. Or if they behave out of character in future cut scenes and dialogue. For me the emperors interest in the character is secondary to how the class is treated in cut scenes and dialogue. Also losing the title Sith/Jedi for commander is just too much. I would prefer "hey sith/jedi" over commander any time.
  20. Thats pretty much what I did. I went with the most massassi looking head type and a pulled back hair style for my female pureblood sw. I was quite happy with the way she looked in the game. The biggest problem I had was with the frightful cosmetics selection. I generally try to accentuate species differences than make look human.
  21. I found it pretty annoying that my character is taking a moral stance on the situation without my input. If a quest is changed the dialogue needs to be updated as well. Jedi Knight spoiler So the above makes her a bit of a looney. There is another quest (imperial) that has been removed but the dialogue for it remains, some tidying up would be nice.
  22. Sith Inquisitor "definitely insane, want to meet my other personality?" Jedi Knight, holo conversation "typical jedi, slaughter a room full of people then apologize afterwards"
  23. Things would have turned out very differently for the SW. I admire Baras except for his stupidity with his Apprentice. He's the only Sith who managed to hurt the emperor. I would have had no problems with a SW been elected to the dark council and Baras been proclaimed emperor.
  24. I wonder if things would have turned out differently if Baras had not Would have been more interesting I think. There was plenty of evidence in the past that the emperor was up to no good.
  25. Well, something new today. I finished talking with Baras on the ship holoterminal and I exploded. Not physically, there were not pieces of my character covering the walls, but it was definitely something to do with my characters model. Or maybe it's just a prophecy of doom physically manifesting itself.
