  1. I'm not so fussed about the physical items, as cool as they are I've got no where to display them right now. So they would just sit in a box gathering dust So realistically theirs no real benefit to either of the collectors editions?
  2. I think this horse has been flogged enough for one day.....
  3. I'm looking to upgrade my account its £49 for the boxed edition or £15 for the digital one. I'm not overly fussed about the physical items only the ingame items you get from each one. Whats the difference between them? And is it worth shelling out the additional extra cash for the boxed CE over the digital one?
  4. Good question especially since the focus towards a legacy/family tree system is now in place. Lets just hope its on the list of things to do and not a hopeful cash cow like FF14 did by charging you for additional characters.
  5. Thats true in some cases but not all, were talking about access to the trade market not giving everyone epics from talking to an NPC to cater for the casuals.
  6. I don't get the argument here. Why impose the limitations, if someone wants to post an item for 2 days great, if someone wanted to post an item for 7 days thats great too, why create more rules/walls in our way when the game should cater for everyone how they want to play. I think two days isn't all that great, I'm often away for 4 days of the week due to other life commitments and don't have access to the intenet during this time. If I wanted to sell anything I would much prefer if I could do so over a longer period of time. This would also be beneficial for say anyone going on holiday etc.
  7. I feel a bit noobish reading this thread, when did the term to gang PK someone change to right clicking a vanity item and waiting for your character to pick it up? If only it was open PvP everywhere without faction locks (exception of locations with guards obviously) like the asian MMOs use to be would make games so much simpler, less crying on the forums and sort it in game. You could have stood there for three weeks it still doesnt make the egg yours when it spawns, first to claim it wins simples!
  8. Ha ha don't we just! Makes something seem like its got added value if you have to queue for it!
  9. I like this would be nice if it followed an eBid/eBay system allowing for 1,3,5 and 7 day listings with active bidding instead of a fixed price. Would be nice to let the market set the price instead of hitting and hoping what you price it at is right.
  10. Also waiting, happy to wait too! Read loads about ghost servers where its impossible to get a group etc while installing the game a couple of weeks ago and last thing I wants to get stuck on a dead end server! I've only found its difficult to get on during the weekend after 6pm (Friday/Saturday and Sunday) which isn't all that bad!
  11. I've been playing MMOs for over a decade and while I can agree that newer ones tend to have more down time due to bugs/patches/etc etc. I've yet to play any that requied such extensive downtime for general server maintenance.
  12. I hope so! As between both of my jobs Tuesday is my only full day off and thus far I've barely got to play.
  13. That really really sucks! Is their any reason why it takes so long each week? Most games I've played are down 2 hours max not 8!
  14. I've had this game all of two weeks and my only day off work is a Tuesday is this always the maintenance day and more importantly does it always take 5-8 hours to do right through the middle of the day instead of at night?
  15. Your argument only stands if the following is true: 1) Every level 50 has submitted the same number of bug reports 2) Every level 50 has experienced the exact same game experiences This is not true on either account, my friend who got me to try this game is level 50, he only plays for PvP content, didnt pre-order or beta test and has never submitted a bug report in his life yet he is more valuable (according to the post made by BW) than anyone else who doesn't have a level 50. I think debating this with you is going to be pointless, I can already tell you're of what I like to call the "old breed of managers" who are always "right" and could do with investing in a glass stomach.
  16. Woah just a second, is this not a game that we play to have fun?! This isn't suppose to be some kind of job that requires "going the extra mile". Explains the above comments, as someone else whos been in management I personally wouldn't like to be considered one of your employees. The only gripe here is how its been worded, they have singled out one group of players and basically said they are more valuable than another which always gets someones back up. But hey why worry, we all get cake and to eat it too with our nice new free pet
  17. Boo! Why no love for those of us outside the US?! Its already bad enough that when any maintenence happens on the servers those not in the US lose a vast majority of their play time and now this? Well perhaps they need to have a dynamic website that changes based on your region so that only the right customers see the right information. It just makes the rest of us seem very unloved
  18. This and only this, if they had added the ranked warzones as planned they wouldn't have given any free time out. Intead its just a bribe to try and keep players hanging around for longer in hope that they can get the content out in time and get these players to re-sub. The flip side it it does make Bioware seem as though they don't really care for anyone else whos playing the game and not got to level 50.
