  1. Ranked games played 2012 on Australian Server Mastar Dar’Nala (PvP). Midian was the highest rated team on the server at the time and retired the team with a win-loss of 136-3 at ~2156 rating. Most of this footage was used to study our games and was never released. It was almost lost in a NAS failure, so it is now backed up on YouTube. The below playlist includes multiple points of view, including footage from Condescend’s <Offline> Twitch stream, Ward <Midian> and my toon Davito <Midian>. Quality varies based on what was available at the time of recording and improves further into the playlist. Playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLvGVXy-MtfMvb8B9L6B7nyw3qmNh7KNu2 I had a lot of fun over the years watching these old Ranked recordings and figured I would share in the hopes that others from way back may stumble across them one day. Thank you Midian and members for the amazing experience. Shout-out to Condescend who streamed Offline's Ranked Games and for allowing his videos to be posted to the SWTOR Forums back in the day. If you still have the twitch streams, I would love to see them all. https://www.twitch.tv/condescendgaming The old server forums certainly provided a nice flashback and showed the unfortunate demise of the APAC servers. I left SWTOR prior to the APAC server closure. http://www.swtor.com/community/forumdisplay.php?f=397 The Midian PVP Drinking Game footage is available to anyone who can prove they were on Mumble that night but won’t be released publicly as there are unsuitable discussions even though it was hilarious. Part 4/5 footage is corrupted, but the audio is intact. Enjoy.
  2. It goes from 2% to 1% on crits, when you crit 60% of the time and you always have a dot up yes it it.
  3. I love how bioware nerfs this **** out of a spec, yet still leaves the bugged out beserk the same which made that spec good. How stupid can they get? Smash spec anyone, as if we needed more of those around. I rolled a sin/op because I knew it would get changed I just expected them to fix their bug instead of nerfing the spec into the ground and leaving the bug The bug is simple, Beserk Requires and converts 30 stacks of Fury to go Berserk. Lasts for 6 charges. This effect varies based on your current lightsaber form: Juyo Form: Increases the critical chance of your bleed attacks by 100% and causes bleed damage to heal YOUR GROUP FOR 1% of max health each tick. the tooltip for predation is different it says Requires and converts 30 stacks of Fury to issue Predation TO YOU AND YOUR GROUP, increasing movement speed by 50% and melee and ranged defense by 10%. Lasts 10 seconds. So if the ability actually did what it was supposed to do it would only return 12% when berserk happened. before 1.5 it was healing 18%. So bioware has chosen to nerf crit stacked anni mara and force people to once again power stack. After 1.5 it heals for 12% but nerfs the **** out of the general crits from dots. GG bioware GG I like many others are now forced to go play your fotm spec in order to be competitive in warzones. I will enjoy watching you nerf that mistake in the future well done.
  4. I think the negatives of doing something that I believe most don't want would be another PR mess for swtor. Even if the profit margin for APAC are low, shutting it down wouldn't improve anything as most would just unsub.
  5. Posted in the consolidation thread, go vote.
  6. Lets get something constructive going on here. Go to this poll and choose the option you want in the event that F2P doesn't achieve the desired outcome. Keep this poll alive so we can get an idea of what the general population wants. http://poll.pollcode.com/ja9p45
  7. After posts like this there really is no reason to bother caring if you are happy or not. You are pissed because of the state of the server and instead of addressing those concerns to bioware you get mad at us for what? Creating premades for normals - You do this too Organized ranked teams - you do this too, we just have more guild members then you. Queuing at prearranged times for people in different timezones - you do this too Running regular players or as you call it core team - you do this too, we were even told you guys were doing this when we had those 2 games. I believe the words were along these lines "we wont queue without" We don't abuse the rwz reward system - you do this and you guys get mad if one of our members jumps out of a normal warzone which would only affect imps. - your guild consistently leaves warzones we fight in leaving the last pubs/pugs to either take a loss because of numbers or fight most the game with uneven numbers. Who is really killing the Repubs? How are you not hearing this, Midian did not return to fight the pug groups. Selective reading much? Mosus we started this thread to find them, being competitive is not a negative as you are trying to put it, **** how do you think we evolved? Refer to the first part of this post, fugue and the team you seem to have a lot of credit for drops out of warzones all the time to dodge us leaving scraps of pugs behind to get stomped because of them. The team makeup we thought we would fight was fugue, growing-rage, coral, misaque, takeyourmeds, bob-cow, first, ciraf and zirx as a possibility. Now you tell me that wouldn't be a competitive team to fight. It seems you need to take us out of your hall of fame, we are just another pvp guild. I and most the other started out noob(Ward's first words were "Rail shot") just like everyone does in these games. Do you really think we are that unstoppable that you can't compete? Seriously have some self respect for yourself and everyone else. As far as the rwz rules I don't have time to look through the TOS but this is a post from a bioware service rep http://www.darthhater.com/devtracker/topic/74681-is-this-a-tos-violation
  8. We actually only started to record our games after Offline started streaming, for everyone that watched it was quite entertaining to see it played back. What we realized was that we could also use it to our advantage by learning from our mistakes. In the heat of the game it can be very easy to miss things good or bad that could change the pace of the game. Having footage available both encourages improvement and gives something entertaining to watch. This is not athlete level and nor does it require you to be. Bandicam is a push to play application and youtube made it easy to share. Sorry for having a guild with enough to put a group together, we have people in multiple timezones with limited healers and tanks. Our team was put together from guildies that managed to be available in that short peroid of time for ranked, **** I still have the list on my desk for when we were asking people if they could actually make any games. Total of 14 people wanted in, 3 sat out for the first night, the other 3 were not available or had restrictions soon that would prevent them from sticking around. So what if we keep it in house, we don't have to take pugs along if we don't want to. We are competitive and I certainly wont apologies for that. We didn't return to go fight pugs as has been said numerous times so your accusations are just that, accusations. I would like to remind you before midian got back, The-elite (you included) were farming normal imps into the ground. I watched it happen so get off your high horse. And clearly you don't have any respect for the rules of the game or bioware for that matter, so tell me why should I care about you or the pug groups you speak of even though we have already stated our intent in rwz.
  9. Midian has no intentions of gate crashing groups, we returned to rwz for the challenge of fighting the teams that called us out. Tip: the best way to learn is to be able to study your own footage of the games, this can be achieved a few different ways. Bandicam is a program we currently use to record rwz. Fraps also works but requires rendering programs to reduce the file sizes and has less recording options. There are other programs out their that may work.
  10. We run against our own teams all the time, this is how we have practiced for ranked, you just have to be an imp to see us do it. At night when the pop drops off this is pretty much all that happens if we still have 2 premades going. Manipulating rwz is different because it is designed around a skill based reward system. Since it has higher rewards then normals it is considered cheating to artificially increase your odds. Queueing solo in order to get in with another premade for normals is nothing new. A lot don't want to waste their time with pugs or need the daily/weekly fast, knowing they will likely lose and just get the next warzone. Like I said before we are a social guild and most of us are only around because of the friends we have made here, so queueing with them or against them can be the only reason for going into a warzone. This is done in all mmos and isn't considered cheating as back-fill occurs. Happens more in swtor because there is no debuff applied to leavers. Firstly I was talking about normals and so was the post I replied to. Our so called 4man optimized premades in normal are just what we had online, Do you seriously think we run just 1 optimized group. troll or a nut either way lol. Is there an echo in here too how is it midians fault that the server pop is low and you keep running into them in normals. Your solution to this is for us to stop queuing or to breakup our friendly team so what you can put a team with them and get carried? Open to suggestions. How is it you can't arrange a premade, seriously how about you try first. Just because you can't beat what ever team midian has put into normals doesn't mean we don't get beat. There is still enough on the server to make premades, apparently some dual premades were farming earlier on tonight so get out their and start talking with them. They exist. Clearly can't handle the heat, better get out of the kitchen.
  11. SCROLL BAR BUSTER I wanted to address this before it gets lost in the post walls. Midian is a large guild and we have more then enough for 1 premade, this generally leaves us with 1 solo queuing while trying to get into the same warzone. Sometimes we are put in the opposite team and we leave right off the bat leaving enough time for back-fill however with the low pop this can be a problem as explained below There is still a back-fill problem on the server as far as I can tell there is 2 reason for it occurring: The match-making system only requires 16 to start a warzone, normally not an issue but on a low population server there might only be 16 so if one is afk (long queues makes this happen a lot) then only 15 enter the warzone and a team is fighting a man or 2 down. Sometimes you can be unlucky and have more then one with no back-fill. We have had to fight with teams of 6 as I am sure you guys have had to as well. The other cause for this is a bug, when a premade team queues and one person is afk for the pop they remain tied to the warzone until they drop the broken queue icon, this will cause the spot to be locked and prevent the back-fill process. Bioware knows about this but like every bug takes them months to fix. Midian is more then willing to help out with guides, class questions, etc. However we are not going to hand out strategies books for ranked, strategies are designed from the team makeup and warzones are just the template. We are not going to hand you our strategies for counter. To start this just listen to us in normals, if we ask you to do something just do it. If we see you regularly going against what we asked we are not going to help you learn. Co-ordination is about doing what is best for the group not yourself, once you learn that you can start new strategies and evolve. Seriously did you not get the message from the start of this thread, if you want anyone to actually take what you say seriously you should rethink your approach. Congrats you may have had a few games that weren't but we were here even after most played gw2 we know dam well that this was going on as we are a social guild, pretty much everything that happens gets passed to us or we had alts who dropped out of these games because of win trading. You are in denial if you think this wasn't the case. And where are these teams now, gone. Not because of Midian, probably because of the-elite farming or maybe it is because Bioware killed the chance of this server having competitive pvp by giving you a copy and paste reply when everyone asked for help. Tell them to suck it up and find a way to beat us, this is pvp if they don't want to do it then they can just do what they do now, don't queue. This is once again not midian's fault. Do you honestly think that we would organize a team for the word of 1 person? no we have a list of the people that wanted to fight us. The actual team we thought we were about to fight would have given any team a solid run for their money including the first midian rwz team. You clearly are or you wouldn't care about who you are fighting in wz's. Remember the starting post in the thread it wasn't crying it was an attempt to get rwz going? lmao you really need to rethink this one. There is nothing wrong with my attitude, I am not here to cater to the wingers. Accept that the server is dead and that only something major from bioware is going to fix it or be on your merry way. I wont be getting into the stuff about Lio and The-Elite as I don't have a stand in that situation, but I can assure you he is welcome in midian. We have not entered that quarrel and have no intention of doing so, but as long as he is here he is part of our guild and we wont stand for anyone speaking ill of him. Midian doesn't base trade but in CW we do a last 100 point base rush. This is for fun instead of sitting around wondering how many of us are afk. It is a medal run and usually as I said before we go with less numbers then that of the base so it always makes for an entertaining fight. This is PVP, not afk farming coms. Don't mistake this as a show of dominance with intent to destroy. Same with what I said before, non of our strats or goals in wzs have even the slightest notion of reducing the amount of medals the other team can achieve. There isn't a way to pvp without a chance of stomping the other team. Most of the current issues revolves around people leaving as soon as they know it is us, resulting in the failed backfill system screwing that team over, once again not our fault. We fight to win (funny I know but we think that is the idea behind pvp), we also have enough in guild that if we solo queued it would create a premade because there is so few imps left. There is no saving this server, how is that not clear it is dead. If you want to fix it go complain to Bioware, no matter what you do it will just result in another dominate guild or carebear mentality which I have seen before and it just results in the same thing you isolate the skilled players to the point that it isn't fun to be carrying people all the time. Lower the over all skill cap and lose any chance of real competitive pvp. That last bit is a jab, so I wont bother with a response. You speak of fair competition like we are in there with .kill abilities, we don't out gear anymore, there has been months of time between when we did. So we just outplayed you and you're not happy about it. Not all midian players want to go out and do so called balanced pvp and we are not going to force anyone either. Players from midian are welcome to do whatever they want, we don't restrict anyone. But it is not our job to go out and organize a makeup team based around our players because you are yet to find an answer to our premades in warzones. And for the last time Midian is not the cause of the warzone queues, bioware shafted you royally and the server pop shows exactly that. Referring to my earlier post and Kei's later this is just a sub effect of the actual cause for the dead server. Everything else is pretty much addressed already in this post so I wont repeat myself. Something for mylord, Midian has had a lot of discussions on this in the past about restricting the guild roster to prevent just what you described, however while we did heavily restrict invites in the early days we recently opened our doors to a select few who are well known to us and we can see their potential and current skill. In which we want to learn and interact to improve them and ourselves. Daecon, very well thought out post. I have to say I agree almost 100%. This is the mentality of a competitive pvper right there and I welcome the opportunity to teach/beat on/lose to you in the future. Here's a little bit of info most don't know about me, I got my *** handed to my once by pixelshader. Could not kill or even lock him/her down. At which point I rolled a operative and started to learn why I was losing the fight. Long story short anni marauders can only lock down a skilled operative healer and are unable to kill them. But the message is still the same just because you get beat doesn't mean it is over, learn why, then learn how to kick their ***. I still have a rivalry going with fugue as he was able to beat me in a 1v1 before I knew how he could do it. Needless to say my sin is doing well.
  12. When the winner is predetermined or the fight is prearranged to dodge other teams it is win trading. We had to sit in empty warzones for the full duration because win traders would queue dodge until they found their twin team. This was nothing new when they renamed it to balanced competition after bioware started asking questions about who was queuing. These weren't just pug groups either, whole guilds did it. Like I said people in denial, the server is dead there is no fragile pvp. Bioware laughed in our face when we asked for consolidation. They don't care that it died because f2p has millions of paying customers, /clap. There is at best 4 warzones running nowadays. Midian was called out to join rwz so we made a team, we wanted more games since no one showed up to the fight. We went looking on the forums and here we are with you crying about not getting medals in a wz. We are here for a fight so if you are not the guy to do it go away, I am not going to help you grind gear so you can not fight us again. We have on numerous occasions helped the other team achieve higher medal counts. This is nothing new to us but don't forget medals are also earned from combat. The only warzone that actually has a HM timer(point when 3 cap is needed) is CW. The rest you should be fighting the whole time, people are in pvp to do just that pvp. Sitting back in Civil war once you hit the timer is understandable, but think about it you are forcing the other team that is there to pvp to do nothing. How are you shocked when they come over usually in lesser numbers than that of the assaulted base for a fight? once again medals are earned from combat. Fugue sure does a good job at it. Just kidding we all know Ward is the only guy who could actually carry us all. Midian pvpers like to have fun, sitting at a node waiting for a warzone to finish is boring and not what we pay a sub for, if you don't want to pvp don't queue. We don't hunt 3 caps we just over achieve in our 2 cap goals:P
  13. I love how you are trying to take the moral high ground when the first thing you did in the thread was accuse an entire guild of being selfish face-rollers. While your own statement in your last post would suggest that without being in the actual guild you would have no evidence to prove your theory. Most if not all of these games had filler spots which consisted of pretty much every guild on the server, people talk and it is pretty clear what is going on when people leave complaining about being told to wait and farm medals while the other team passes the ball back and forth or base trades. Balanced competition implies bound restrictions on both teams to ensure fair play, not organized games to farm coms. There may have been a few proper games but as you see none where here when we arrived and none are here now. Oh yeah that is right they either got farmed into the ground or left because of the dead server.
  14. Your post was a dig at former members of the-elite and led into crying that you no longer dominate the server. We all witnessed the state of imps before our returned. Barely got any players left to queue, they had been that badly farmed into oblivion. What else was their to do but laugh? I enjoyed watching the endless win trading under the phrase balanced competition, so where are those guilds now if it was going so well. lmao
  15. And as I said midian is running premades like every other pvp guild on the server, no surprise we like group pvp. The only reason you even notice our teams is because the server is dead and there is nothing else around to fight, this was not caused by midian and wont be fixed by us either. The competition left months ago, the people leaving now are just in denial as their server reaches a new low. The phrase "balanced competition" comes to mind. No fix for this is coming, F2P is biowares hope of a resolution to this issue. Most likely wont be enough as I said before "no one will play on a dead server not even for free". We aren't causing people to leave, bioware did that for us. Find someone else to blame. Trolling is the only thing that keeps people from going insane while they sit in a 30m queue, you can never take that away from me or any other. If they want to play, then let the entertainment amass. If people want to leave the game I can assure you they had those feelings long before anything was said, bioware created that atmosphere by completely ignoring the cries for a fix. For the record the players I have trolled are still in game, shown by the amount of emotes/whispers I get everyday. Thx guys you have your own chat tab now, good work. Midian is a very social guild so when people who are known to us and/or highly skilled ask to join the guild we accept them as most of us only play this game because of the friends we have made here. Midian was called out to join rwz when we returned. We formed a team and went into rwz and was met by nothing more then a flashing red warzone symbol. So we started hunting down the repub guild to have the fight they asked for. Once a team was organized they joined and a few games later it was over. Since then we have had no one whatsoever attempt to join rwz. So we made a post to try and get some awareness to any other team that was around to join. No better place then a forum to communicate with everyone at once, wouldn't you think? Maybe you should try a new approach if you don't want to sound like another pissed off swtor player crying about a dead server.
  16. Your opinion of us is once again misguided, when midian left the server everyone just targeted the next guild that they lost to in a warzone(The-Elite). We watched from GW2 as all the things said about us was being said about them. Dominant premades is nothing new to mmo's and usually isn't a problem as queuing again generally results in another team to fight. However on our now dead server(cheers bioware) this is not the case, if it is not us then you got the repub premade. While I do understand how you feel as it is nothing new, your anger towards us is as I said misguided. Midian and the-elite are not the cause of the servers troubles. Opinions are far from fact.
  17. Misguided frustration, don't get mad at us because Bioware has failed to deal with the dying population on APAC. If you are scared of competition go play a single player game then.
  18. Looking to get as many groups going on sunday night. Hopefully Midian will have a team ready to go. In order to achieve some diversity in ranked lets try and get 4 teams going and organize to queue up vs each separate team at least once. If your guild or team is interested feel free to come talk to us over on Imperial side.
  19. Midian is gathering up a team and hopefully will see you in rwz in the next 2 days.
  20. /Signed again for an update. We waited for your reply and are still waiting. Good or bad news just tell your paying customers so we can make a decision. The longer you wait the more you lose, simple as that. A lot have even said they wont return now because of Bio-wares lack of action and communication. This is extremely disheartening for any fan to see Bio-ware tarnish their enjoyment of Star Wars. Your days are numbered, please act now.
  21. Doesn't take increased range to force leap. Annihilation can do it from 0 range, rage has a leap inside 10 yard range and carnage can just jump backwards. Not to mention the original knock back already pushed people into leap range.
  22. Just because you can't see the potential doesn't make it dribble, the increased range and instant activation alone is enough to make it a buff. The change from aoe to directional is something that requires new tactics but under skilled hands is no nerf. Midian had one of the best dps hybrid sorcerers (Forebearance) as a core member of our rank 1 team. So suggesting we don't see the valuable capabilities of dps sorcerers is nothing but false. Limiting opinions to just those who play as a main is a narrow minded approach. Adapt or fall behind.
  23. To be honest it is hard to give a full review of the balance changes this early as many people are still adjusting to the changes, but I will give my early assessment on a few of them. Starting of course with the marauder/sentinel changes. The undying rage change while being a nerf is nothing to be concerned about for a well rounded marauder. While marauders did need a tweak to re-balance them with other classes I don't think this is going to have the intended result. This change effects the ability to survive the Huttball fire and reduces the chances of recovery from a 1vgroup perspective, as most would know marauders can still turn a fight around in the 4 seconds of undying. The shake up to rage tree is nothing to ignore but it still doesn't make rage a viable rwz spec without becoming a liability. With no utility and very low survivability, damage is just not enough to carry this spec. I have never been a fan of rage marauders as it is a one trick pony with no team support, even with these changes it has not for me become a spec to use. Annihilation is still the 1v1 1v2 spec and carnage is the utility support spec with high focus target damage. As Bio-ware is yet to fix the deadly saber bug, carnage would be my suggested spec for ranked, although I am an annihilation fan boy. Juggernaut/Guardian: As far as I can tell the change is about the same, however it has reduced some hybrid specs strength. The rage tree is a stronger buff to jugs then marauders as they still carry a lot of utility and support. It wouldn't shock me to see a lot of these guys returning to the old rage specs. Overall I don't see this being a problem for my marauder and I wont be changing my tactics against them. Inquisitor: While some are not familiar with the type of knock back used in the overload change it is a better ability now, with almost a 180 degree cone attack that activates instantly this change has heavily improved its utility defensively and offensively. Organized play can now counter this ability however the level of skill is beyond the average player. The changes to force speed are still a toss of the coin for me, in many respects I think it is a negative as mobility is a problem in this game as we have seen with Bio-ware having to add more to re-balance. Sorcerers on the other hand needed this change and it is a positive, while not good enough to counter every charge as the cooldown is shorter, it is enough to give them more utility in all aspects of play. Sage/Sorcerer: This new heal is awesome and has given them a ton of survivability that they surely needed, however it is quite depressing to see them stack it with a med-pack and restore more then half their health. Polarity shift change: this was NOT needed in my opinion as there are few interrupts in game with a short enough interrupt cooldown to counter healing. Another effect from this is it eats interrupts unlike other classed like mercenaries shield that prevents them from being interrupted, causing the interrupt ability to be greyed out while targeting them. This can be countered by recognizing the buff but I don't think this was intended by Bio-ware as they seem to like to favor low skill cap PVP. Fadeout change: this is a change that is going to define the difference between skilled 1v1 players and noobs. It is easy to counter as you can just save your charge/pull/snare/stun until after the 2 seconds is up but when used correctly can be a powerful defensive tool, utilizing line of sight or just pure range as can be done to PT's now. Backlash: this change is stupid. There is already enough stuns in game we didn't need more. I will get into this further down with resolve. In conclusion this class has been buffed to a level playing field and in skilled hands can be a very competitive 1v1 class now. But it is still squishy in group environments and would rely on tactics and support to handle switches. Shadow/Assassin: First up force cloak reduction of CD needed nothing more to say. The darkness changes are PVE as there are few if any tank geared sins around and with low defense in dps gear I don't think this will benefit in PVP. So it is a possible nerf as shroud was originally a 45 second cooldown, now 1 minute. Deception: tricky one here. The spec needed a buff to survivability as they were saber meat but I don't really see too many issues with this spec in group environments as they are still meat in duration fights and a common quick switch target. 1v1 however I see a lot of potential for this spec to jump the ranks although it is heavily revolving around 1 defensive change (25% damage reduction) that only lasts 6 seconds (12 if you count using blackout after stealth). The burst potential is insane as has been shown to me by Limbonic spamming 5ks like they were going out of fashion. Depending on how it plays out in high end PVP I would not be surprised if this spec took another revision in a near patch. I am still in the process of learning my assassin and I will reserve my judgment on these changes until I have mastered the ways. Operative/Sniper: not a lot of changes as with the sins the cloaking screen cooldown reduction, needed. The movement increase on ghost is something that was probably needed however concealment was always a spec shunned for its play-style and the last thing I think it needs is another utility ability that gives it a boost in a 1v1 environment. Once again though I haven't had a chance to fight the top level concealment specs on the server so I am not sure how effective this change really is. Bounty hunter/Trooper: An interrupt finally something to shut Zirx up or will it? Mercenary/Commando: Brief review, never really had any problems with dps mercenaries so it is hard to say if these changes will become an issue, while I have changed my tactics to kill them I don't think for me it will be a game changer. Healing change however is cool, a snare on a commonly used ability that effects multiple targets, has a ton of potential and already we have been using it in our Voidstar and Huttball strategies. The change to peacekeeper however is not as good as some may think, this really should have been a beacon of light (wow much?) style change which would grant heals while healing friendly targets aswell. Since rapid shots can only be fired on friendly targets and not self. It isn't something that will change much game play. Powertech/Vanguard: Nerfed not surprised, these changes are not really going to effect me as I am a melee but as from duels I have watched the tactics used against PT's have very much changed and they can be nullified with range who would have guessed LOL. Wont effect top end ranked as damage was left unchanged but certain situations will need to be revised to adjust to this. Don't think for a second you can just own a PT they can still mess you up and fast. Okay last note is warzone changes, burst, resolve and stuns, so much for "assessment on a few of them". I don't like the timer reduction in Huttball, there was nothing wrong with 15m of game play. Civil war did not need to be longer *** was Bio-ware smoking when they made that choice, we all hate sitting around while the other team quits at half way. Why make that more painful? Coast on the other hand could use the extra duration as the chance of turn around even at 2% is possible, but I would like to see something to prevent stalemates at south, like a small reduction of shield strength the longer the game goes on. With the introduction of another competitive spec "deception" the death rate has gone up significantly and the burst potential is crazy, as we have seen targets can get dropped in under 2 seconds. This is my opinion is not competitive PVP and Bio-ware is pushing the boundaries of null skill cap. With the low population on our server we are seeing less support classes which is leading to some painful warzones of how long you can last in the burst. The resolve change is another one of Bio-wares cater to the low skill cap players. It makes Huttball a pain in the *** without a supportive team since getting resolve capped can take forever. With the conversion of sorcerers bubble mez to stuns which doesn't break on damage and is a low resolve ability the amount of time out of stuns is probably getting close to the amount of time in stuns. Not sure why Bio-ware made this change without adjusting the resolve values to prevent resolve trick play which is starting to get out of hand as seen by the 16 second chain stuns without using 2x8 second stuns. Not happy with this change in its current form and I dread the thought of how strong RWZ teams could use this to their advantage. The reduction to the range of stuns is pretty cool, I like the change and think it opens up new strats in all warzones. It will take a while to adjust for many but wont be long before it is the new normal. Overall I am happy to see changes but am wondering if Bio-ware ever intends to fix the endless stream of bugs starting to reduce the quality of the game. Wow what a wall of text, guess I had to do one someday to try and beat KEI's. Davito <Midian>
