  1. Well that's a travesty. It's such a great looking helm :(

I agree. Not necessarily just about this piece, but there are some very nice looking items in this game that have no moddable version. It's like the rest of the art team was jealous of the designer's work and determined to prevent it from being used.

  2. I think it was a bit of a mistake on BW's part for there to be only the one class that uses two armor types, as it creates this problem no other classes deal with, but what's done is done.

I tend to not roll just for mods, because I know people get in a snit about it, but I personally would never vote kick someone for winning a roll for mods they can use. It's still an upgrade for them, and most likely, I wouldn't have been keeping the shell either. I'd have been ripping the mods, same as them.

  3. What is more fun then killing a bunch of Jawa's while throwing a big party!! :) Anyways my point is, I can't complete this objective without the Party Jawa. So, my legacy for Tatooine can't be completed :( (not that it's close to being completed or anything ) :p

Would it work to kill the Jawas while in a group with someone who has a Party Jawa? Worth a try, if you haven't already.

  4. I like this suggestion a lot. Particularly when I find I'm inadvertently outleveling a planet and thus want to cut back on quests, it would be nice to only pick up the heroics, since the group content is more fun, while not even bothering to pick up the solo ones. It's not horrible going through and abandoning ones I don't want, but it is a bit of a waste of time.
  5. in both ACs, they use the force, if one wants to use the force to cast spells and heal, then decides to drop that and master the art of stealth, its the same thing its all within the base class.

It's true that someone could master one set of skills, and then change their mind and begin training another. So, would you be willing, along with your change of AC, to have your character dropped back to level 10, the level up to which they are trained in the new skill set, and begin training from there? No? You'd rather just change your mind and be a master at something in which you'd never trained? If you are willing to be dropped back to level 10 to make the change, then I see your point.

  6. I think when they say, "below level 15", they mean "level 15 and below". I have yet to find ANY modable level 15 that is dyeable, at least none of the armors that my characters are wearing.

Much of the oddness of this level limitation decision ties into the oddness of previous decisions they made. Why are so many of the best looking armors in the game the lowest level armors??? If that wasn't the case, the level limitation on dyes wouldn't matter so much.

  7. Someone must have said this already:

What is the criteria for what is dyeable? Whether or not it has a dye module slot.

I'm gonna go way out on a limb and say that even someone with 0% Start Wars Lore can discern the lack of a dye module slot.

You totallly misunderstand the question. The question was not about how to TELL if something is dyeable, but what was the criteria to decide what would GET a dye slot.

  8. As said before, Aspiring Knight's set. I think it is one of the best looking chestpieces for females and I would love to have mine white.

Agreed, I'd like to dye that also. As, I mentioned on another thread, so far, NONE of the pieces I really want to dye can be dyed. I guess I save money by not gambling on dye packs, since I can't use the dyes. So, there's a bright side anyway.

  9. I'm not actually convinced that level is the limiting factor. I've got a level 5 blue with a dye slot. Who's going to waste dye on a non-modable level 5??? I've got several level 15 or above, orange, craftable pieces that do not have a dye slot. In fact, so far, every piece I want to dye can't be dyed. I'm not going to wear armor styles I don't like just to be able to dye them, so I guess I'll not be using dyes unless they lift some limitations.
