Ran into a weird bug today. I went into Hammer Station, and once the flashpoint loaded, half my hud was gone. I couldn't attack with anything besides the basic attack, and I couldn't use chat to explain to my party members what was happening. It took quitting the game, and getting back on for the HUD to come back.
