Mainly SWG and then Wow. now a loyal SWTOR soldier.

I was watching this game for years, from 2009 in fact,,, so were my friends... we waited and waited, talked so much about it at work. A few of us are veteran MMO players - WoW, SWG, Lotro, GW, EQ, Aion. We like SwTor, but It's not quite what we had hoped. For starters the only form of gameplay is combat - give us something else to do than fight! It may sound sad but when we heard the april fools joke about the ship android crew skills we got excited, until we realised it was a joke. It would be nice to have some non-combat activities.... In SWG crafting was a full time profession, cant we make crafting more specialised ? Good MMo's give a high degree of personalizion, + a large amount of freedom.

Inbetween my Gaming sessions I briefly look through the forums now and again, and what do I see? A huge amount of whining, whinging and complaining. I think to myself 'are these guys and gals playing the same game as me?' I pre-ordered and done a bit of beta testing, now approaching level 50 and I have to say that I am LOVING every minute of it. It is such an engaging, epic (yes epic!) MMO. I have to admit that at first I did feel that it was a bit linear, a bit single player'ish. But, now approaching end game I don't feel that anymore - we have a guild up and running and we have a great time with the FP and PVP. I encounter very few bugs, and with a mid range PC I play on the highest settings. I can't understand what ppl are complaining about - everyone I know that plays loves it - most of us are ex-Wow players and left Wow to play this. We are not dissapointed. This is just the start for SWTor, I personally enjoy every aspect but would like to see certain things expanded on. Space is a major oportunity for expansion, take us off 'the rails' and allow free flying, group battles, guild ships, ship customisation. Also Guild banks, chat bubbles, a reason to go to a cantina... I could go on. An excellent game, please expand it wisely :-D And to all you Whining ppl, What the heck are you going on about? This is a GREAT game.
