  1. I think if they don't want to add hide/show toggles to more of the gear slots, they should just introduce an entire Covert Energy set through the cartel market. That way we could "hide" anything we want. A Covert Energy helmet would also serve as a makeshift hood toggle!
  2. Adding my name to the unhappy masses who bought the Phantom chest based on how it looked in the preview who now have to seek out another look and spend time/credits pulling mods and augmenting all over again. Anybody got any good suggestions on what to switch to that works for light armor?
  3. A few people I run with have found a fair solution for the companion-needing problem. We all greed roll on stuff we can't use for ourselves. And then, thanks to the handy 2 hour bind window, if we need something someone else won for a companion, we offer to buy it off that group member for vendor price.
  4. Don't forget a spot to keep a guild calendar! Right now the only option in game is typed out in MotD or Guild Info - which requires scrolling through. Mail would be super useful. It would be even better if it was a separate guild mailbox and there was a way for the mail to be seen/sent by all officers (as a preference not by default).
  5. 1. How do you think your Sage spec is perceived by other classes? From a PVE Seer perspective, I feel like Sage's are desirable. I'm getting asked to join Ops I have no business running (gear wise) just to have a sage in the group vs a better geared scoundrel or commando (I decline, of course). From a PVP perspective, I feel like no one wants us (heals or dps) 2. How do you perceive your own spec? Again from PVE Seer, I feel like I'm just as good as the other two healing classes. I think that I can heal better in certain situations, but in some where I have to move a lot the other classes would perform better. From a PVP Seer perspective, I won't enter a warzone without a tank friend to run with. Otherwise, it's pretty much a game of "can I top the leaderboard in deaths." With a tank though, I feel super useful. I can help keep my teammates alive and not die in 3 seconds! From a balance tree perspective, I feel like I could pump out the damage, but being super squishy and a healer advanced class means there's a big target on me the whole time and I die fast.
  6. I agree pazaak would be an awesome addition to the game, and I've been marveling that it wasn't there at launch! I can see where the dev team would be worried about gambling & transfer of credits. Why do games have to be to win credits at all? It could cost credits to play and we could gamble with all those Tionese crystals everyone seems to be accumulating. For tournaments it wouldn't need to be a credit prize either. It could be a title, a pet, or a new type of commendations we can buy orange gear with.
  7. This would be a great additional feature. It wouldn't take much extra work to implement it at first because new hairstyles/makeup/tattoos/scars wouldn't need to be added - we could just change between the ones available now. As time goes on, new customizations could be added. I'd love to change my Mirialan's tattoos because, as the codex says, Mirialan's tattoos record their personal achievements. My character has definitely made some achievements over the 1-50 story arc. Plus, from a developer perspective this would be a great credit sink!
  8. Depending on what Macbook you've got, it may or may not be worth your time to use Bootcamp vs looking into buying a PC for gaming. That being said, I'm playing on a late 2011 Macbook Pro running Windows 7 through bootcamp and I'm able to run with the graphics turned up all the way with no problems. If you've got a Pro model with the dedicated graphics card (15 & 17" unibodies), you won't have any trouble. Apple has instructions here. There's another set of instructions here at TUAW that have images to make it easier. Hope that helps!
