  1. For that matter, many existing speeders could have room for a companion riding pillion (though not M1-4X!) or in the passenger seat.
  2. Your earpiece has a translation matrix, just like the Jedi Exile’s in KOTOR II. It puts the subtitles up on your character’s heads-up display contact lenses.
  3. It would also be nice to have your legacy friends be available in chat even when you’re on as a character from the other faction. So if I’m adventuring Empire-side and friends log in on Republic side, I can see it immediately and ask if they want company. If the friends list gets used by stalkers and harassers, though, I like the idea of requiring that it be mutual.
  4. I just want something that lets me sneak past mobs so I can get to mission objectives when I’ve done the adventure before on another alt.
  5. That would be handy. Another fun mechanic might be one where you defeat an elite with style (never go below 50% HP, or do it in a certain amount of time) and get a buff that causes lower-grade NPCs to cower away from you. That way you only have to prove yourself once, and then the mobs let you walk around freely.
  6. Yeah, a “never PVP” flag would be good; if someone PVP-flagged joins a group containing a “never PVP” member, they should get the option to suppress their PVP flag for as long as they’re in the group. I like the idea of the auto-teleport when in enemy territory; it means you can still skirt the edges if you just want to get close enough to map the place.
  7. If “Fallen Jedi” unlocks at Dark V for Jedi, “Sith Heretic” should unlock at Light V for Sith.
  8. The prices on the things you buy with Gray Helix components haven’t changed, so you still need to do the same amount of adventuring in order to get the nifty weapons and the Blue Sphere.
  9. Especially if you could draw on it for crafting if you ran out of materials in your own inventory and storage bays.
  10. The Hutts used to be warriors; in the RPG source material, there are stats for a Hutt powersuit. But I think having him on a Cartel Hedonist Skiff would be great; I would happily go through the amount of effort it took me to acquire HK-51 to get Dr. Oggurobb as a healer companion.
  11. An Ewok companion? Can I get a /sithpunt emote to use Sith Punt from The Force Unleashed on it?
  12. I like the "trade reputation tokens for commendations" idea best.
  13. Or just put an option on the skill trainer to allow you to start right-clicking to remove points, as if you hadn't committed yet.
  14. Now that you can change character appearance, you can start your level 1 character out looking young and make your level 50 character look more mature; might as well make some crows-feet and laugh lines available.
  15. I think it could be made feasible to have Jawa and Wookiee player characters, reusing code from the Jawa and Wookiee companions and making a few tweaks: They get a few custom pieces (helmets? chest pieces? relics?) that change their overall look, and armor doesn’t show on them, just like on Jawa and Wookiee companions. They have the “character is nonhuman” flag set in conversations. The camera stays at human head height in cut scenes, so you see the top of the Jawa’s hood or the Wookiee’s chest, emphasizing their different height. Play this up for intentional hilarity. They are not romanceable, to avoid the hassle of animating kissing scenes. All dialog is replaced by a random selection of Jawa babble or Shyriwook hooting, avoiding the need for new voice acting. Though I’ve seen suggestions for Cartel outfits of “Wookiee ghillie suit” that could accomplish the same end (put on the whole outfit and you display as a Wookiee).
  16. If we get a “crawl inside a dead tauntaun” toy, I want a /holdnose emote.
  17. Or have a mentor/sidekick type feature that can scale you up or down as needed, so you could bring your level 50 healer to Tython to heal your buddies who are just starting the game, then take them straight from Coruscant to Ilum when it turns out that Gray Secant is visiting.
  18. If you aren’t reverse engineering or selling the mods, there’s less reason to charge you for pulling them out. You should just be able to drag one piece of gear into the mods window for another piece, it prompts you for the price (if any), and then all the mods transfer as long as there are matching slots.
  19. A special speeder with a caf brewing apparatus on the back, in honor of all the late nights gaming.
  20. Alternatively, have excess reputation turn (at some ratio) into commendations when you use them up, or have a vendor who can exchange reputation tokens for basic, elite, or ultimate commendations at various ratios.
  21. Social and Reputation vendors could sell dyes as well as armor, with minimum social levels or reputations for use. For factional worlds, the colors of the faction: Republic White/Blue on Coruscant, Imperial Dark Gray/Red on Dromund Kaas, Hutt Cartel colors on Nar Shaddaa, Alderaan, Voss, Balmorra, and Makeb colors on their respective worlds. For battleground worlds like Tatooine, Hoth, and Quesh, camouflage: sand and rock, snow and ice, alien vegetation. GSI would sell GSI Blue/Orange. The reversed colors (e.g. Red/Dark Gray) could be sold as well, at the same or higher rank.
  22. I enjoy taking in the scenery (which occasionally gives clues, like “there’s a datacron over there!” on Voss), but I’d love to just hold down the shift key and have it fade to black if I want to join up with a group that’s a long way away. (Though “quick travel to group leader” could solve that...) I think this would be a good option to add.
  23. I could see GSI weapons being baroque, multibarreled monstrosities— very much the opposite of the sleek Gree designs.
  24. If they didn’t put the HK-51 quest and the seeker droid missions right in Outlaw’s Den, I would be fine with Outlaw’s Den being a mandatory PVP area. But as long as they do that, I would like a “never PVP” flag that let me get on with my quests without getting ganked. The place I really want “never PVP” to work is for healers, though. I want the game mechanic to be “because I have the ‘Never PVP’ flag set, I cannot buff, harm, or heal anyone else flagged for PVP”. If someone groups with me and is flagged for PVP, they get the choice of turning off their PVP flag or being immune to my healing. And I never have to worry about catching the damned flag from someone else when we form a pickup group for a heroic.
  25. I will probably move to the West Coast RP server.
