I've been following your posts closely (Creepy, I know) and I really hope it doesn't make it, just so you get angry! Kidding, I hope it makes it by the 15th as well.

I was about to yell out "April Fools!" until I realized today was the 30th of October and not the 1st of April. This is a very sad day.

I've seen a monumental improvement compared to stock 1.4. They definitely did something right last patch.

Oh the woes of patches, if only there was a sure fire way to make sure that patches were perfect upon release, we wouldn't have to wait weeks after to get fixes. Although I'm quite happy with my performance now.

Have you tried messing with the draw distance? I used this a while back to make the game playable. I know there's a thread somewhere about it.

There is definite increase in performance, where I would lag horribly on a full fleet I now play on medium graphics with around 35 fps, and that's just on fleet. I've to go to a planet but I'm sure my frames will be even higher, I'll up my graphics some more when I get home from work and let you guys know how the performance is.

Exactly, its really nice and I'm glad they've been able to optimize the game for such a crappy igp.
