  1. Currently in the process of redownloading the game. Hoping it will fix the issue for me
  2. We've noticed that the set bonuses that grants a 2% Alacrity/Shield bonus is actually granting a 2% of your existing rating. Surely this must be a bug? Is it really expected that a 2000*2% = 40 (ish) rating bonus would be a viable set bonus? My first assumption was that it would be a flat 2% bonus to your Alacrity/Shield, and I definately think it should be, so I am just wondering if this is a bug or if it is intended.
  3. I personally prefer Corellia Square for two main reasons: You are unable to target your opposing team making planning a bit harder (at least for solo queueing) and the area is not designed in such a way that it obviously favors classes with knockbacks and/or charge abilities. It is a bigger map than most of the others (at least it feels that way) making it possible to have some interesting situations occur instead of everybody being forced into the same little cirlcle to fight for dominance; using the same obstacles to kite around and so on. It also differs from many of the other maps where the trend is to have two levels with walkways. Only other map that really does this is the Tatooine Canyon.
  4. What I am most concerned about is the fact that Enhancements are apparently bound to each gear slot. This means that everybody is pretty much forced to gear one specific way; no possibility to play around with Augments to better reach the thresholds and caps that theorycrafting suggests are best. Even more worrying is how this will affect PvPers. The fact that dps is forced to use Accuracy Enhancements; especially for classes such as Operatives and Sorcerers that consists of almost 100% yellow damage, where accuracy has absolutely zero effect...
  5. Merging servers will lose subscribers too
  6. Yep true. I am a TOFN player and there has been rumours for months about the server being dead. Not true. Around 100-200 on fleet on rush hours and probably plenty on the other planets. Getting WZ pops till 4 in the morning and plenty of people for PVE as well. Even though you might have to wait a few minutes for pops. Now after the panic exodus it's around 40-60 on fleet on rush hours at most 80. You still get WZ pops but PvE is dead and it's always the same 10 people in WZs.
  7. Exactly, choices have consequences. In this case it was the decision from Bioware to remove a 95% discount on transfers with only 6 days warning for players to make their decision that spurred a panic exodus from players. So as I said, Bioware indirectly caused this issue. The fact that it will only harm their player base if they take no steps to solve this issue one way or another will be the consequence for Bioware. The consequence for the people left on TOFN for one reason or other, be it stubborness, faith that the server will survive the flock mentality of the panic exodus or any other reason is that they will have to live on a dead server or quit the game. In the end the blame doesn't lie at one party but several parties feels the consequence of the choices made, and as I wrote earlier, this benefits nobody.
  8. This discussion has very little to do with what Bioware did and did not and about discounts and availability on transferring. It has much more to do with the way Bioware has handled communication with their player base and indirectly caused a server to die and their inactivity to resolve that issue. It is in nobody's interest to see everybody on TOFN stop playing because the server is dead: many people will leave the game despite having had an otherwise enjoyable time playing and Bioware will lose subscribers. This is merely a call out for help so the people left behind for one reason or other can continue playing this game.
  9. No lag and no gtn bugs. And potentially the same pros if people don't all desert the server!
