  1. You do realise at the BEGINNING of KotFE. Marr says to an imperial soldier something along the lines of "Do your duty or I'll kill you myself" right?
  2. Like I said, almost romanced... but professionally she holds up and listens to my agent: examples would be, don't kill civilians, and she doesn't. We need to capture someone alive / she follows my lead. Can you give me examples where she does the exact opposite of what you want to do? I'm a lightside Agent who does make darkside choices depending on the situation. As for other "followers", SCORPIO is using the outlander for it's own purpose. to think otherwise is foolish. There is a difference between lying and trust... I think you should re-assess people in your life if you think they're one and the same.
  3. Some of us are a little jaded with the recent expansions, but the 1-55 experience will be great for you and will be a great time-sink I've logged so many hours with this game... I recommend going Empire for some great stories (Bounty Hunter and Agent are my favourites). If you're on the Shadowlands, feel free to PM me your name and I can run flashpoints with you.
  4. I've not done the inquisitor one yet, but believe me, Koth / Aric are both going to suffer tremendously. The Alliance is an "alliance" by name only. It is the new empire. As soon as I can, I will be taking control of the Imperial Remnants and killing off the sith lords who are ultimately weak.
  5. Not really, She has demonstrated restraint in my story lines (and almost romanced my char). From my perspective, I trust her more than any of my other alliance characters, main ones anyway. Only other guy I appreciate is Pierce. Lana is basically or WAS a useless imperial operative. Koth is preachy as hell but is the biggest hypocrite alive. Senya is just plain annoying, the fact that she constantly hides things from everyone, critical information too, was hurting the alliance. It's her fault that Arcann found us originally through Scions. Theron is starting to grow on me, only because he is ex SIS and knows what needs to be done at times. Scorpio definitely can't be trusted.
  6. My Agent sent Kaliyo in... after all she works with me, and is trusted above most of the other Alliance. I said to Aric to hold back because, I was imperial Intelligence, I don't move all my assets in to a trap. You assess and send in a covert unit, not guns blazing. Aric disobeyed my direct orders, he will either be killed, or extremely disciplined.
  7. I've not had any disconnects with the game recently, however if you're on Windows 10, or using any Realtek hardware, you're going to need to update your drivers. This is for both sound drivers and network adapters.
  8. So I've been thinking about this a lot and, how other games add classes. My suggestion is to add the ability to have smugglers, troopers, agents and bounty hunters on the opposite side, which doesn't break the story and adds to the game with minimal development. The other class, which is more development and is completely new is a bit more time. The more I thought about this, the more it makes sense that Bioware may already be planning this and it got spurred on by James Olhsen's twitter: Brand New Class: Zakuul Knight. Makes sense right? And can start at level 60, and fit in to the 60-65 -> Post 65 story line pretty easily. Can have the backstory of a force sensitive from the known worlds who got lost and ended up on Zakuul, became a knight, when they found out about the invasions they teamed up with the republic / empire because of family? Force sensitive with new weapons / abilities that are a mix of jedi / sith, so almost a grey route. Now for the other classes. In a similar way to how WOW did Wrath of the lich king, with death knights, we have now: "The fall of known civilisation". Begins just before kotfe, you have a quick hour story line / choose past in how other Biowares have done it and then start kotfe as the outlander. Only you get to choose the following: Republic Agent Republic Bounty Hunter Imperial Trooper Imperial Smuggler Start at level 60 and the pre-kotfe story is pretty much taken care of. And it makes sense that you now have all classes on both sides.
  9. I agree with a lot of what you say mate, not going to argue on them. I am an old school pvper too, SWG is still my favourite, couldn't get in to EVE due to being purely space based
  10. Easiest thing for classes is literally give the ability for the following classes, without any changes to abilities: A Republic Agent (Sniper / Operative) - In game lore supports this A Republic Bounty Hunter - In game lore supports this An Imperial Smuggler - In game lore supports this An Imperial Trooper - In game lore supports this. The only Issue is Bioware from the start said they would never do this without class stories (Which frankly if they don't have them by now they never will). @EDIT@ As for changes, a lot of the elements I suggested would be "fundamentally" taking pre-existing maps / changing text files to accommodate changes, obviously things like new stronghold abilities is more than that, but you get the gist.
  11. Thanks for replying, I actually think the changes made recently are good, 2 new maps, and pvp instances are great. PVP changes will bring a lot of players back, it's one of the reasons why I know a lot of people are looking at WOW Legion as their game of choice. I stated I am mostly PVP focused and that's why I have more PVP ideas, but I guarantee you I have played more hours solo / PVE / RPG games than any mmo aspect. I could write you story based PVE content if you wish, but that is not a quick win, I put in another post that these are easily quick wins, would you like me to go in to more detail on my flashpoints and operations? I would love to of course but I don't know what is in the mix already @EDIT@ I personally know of around 200 raiders left the game since 4.0 and I don't deny that most of the players are more solo / pve centric, I was just stating more prominently the pvpers who left and what they wanted before leaving.
  12. Adding content does not take away from other content when implemented correctly. I love world pvp but there is no reward for it as you pointed out. I also think that what you said about classes is also true, and easily rectified. But not in Bioware fashion, my point of this thread is the easier and quicker things that would bring players back, rather than looking at all the core issues.
  13. Edited main post to incorporate our conversation. I hope there is still a chance Bioware want to breathe life in to this game before it's too late.
  14. Oh wow, I completely forgot Skyrim! Yes. another good example
  15. I was weighing up 12v12 or 16v16, I thought Ilum might be too big for 12v12 though? As for 2v2, i understand where you're coming from, so maybe an approach similar to WOW where you can queue up for which ever type of warzone? Maybe not specific maps, but queue for 2's 4's 8's and 12's?
