All you have to do is pointed in the event's page: http://www.swtor.com/dark-vs-light. You don't need to do all the quests in the game to meet the requirements. Just meet the exact thing that is written. Regardless of the method. I assume the choices will matter only in regards of the companion earned and possibly story continuation after kotfe. The light/dark points will be counted on your character's rank of those and measured for everyone to see if bad or good guys count more.

While it seems nice on paper, I think it would lead to further inflation of the galactic credits. It would be really bad for free and preferred players. They wouldn't be able to buy anything on GTN anymore.

I think that Volkarion is really inspired by Kreia from KOTOR 2, which makes me believe he will actually help you grow as much as possible, and then betray you. I really hope I'm wrong about this. It is a nice scenario, but I just don't want to see the same concept again.

Thank you for your replies. I wanted to know if it's a problem with "I died on pvp 10 times in a row - this class is so ******" or "PT is nerfed so much that anything can kill them". And all your opinions gave me the answer. Based on what I've read here and in other threads I think that the main issue is that PT used to be stronger. Nothing more, nothing less. It has nothing to do with viability of the class. Or at least I don't see a problem.

I was reading threads on this forum and I see that many guys say that Powertech is not viable. I'd like to know if that's true. I made my PT few days ago and I'd like to go pyro route. After seeing so many threads about nerfed PT I'm little concerned.
