Might be a memory corruption thing as well. Either way, it sounds like something that should have been caught. Ah well, at least it sounds entertaining. I wonder whether there will be any rollbacks.
I bet you it was more than a memory failure. Could've been a 6 year old hard drive finally starting its death cycle.

Don't care about CC. I am pissed off because dear Eric threw a handful of codes for an unobtainable pet (I would have bought the damned thing otherwise and been done with that a LONG time ago) at a thread FULL of people and apparently thought it a good idea or entertaining or whatever to watch them scramble for them, and somehow expected that that would keep them quiet and busy. Then went into a huff when that didn't go over as expected and was like "okay so you said you didn't want this" when all that people said was that it would be fair if everyone got one. So, as always, not listening.
Eric I am not sure if you are reading this, but what if you did something else like maybe... in game mail to all players who log in by tomorrow that will have the pet inside? Just a thought

So I was passed out earlier before the servers went back down. What happened and what all was so wrong to make the servers go down? Anyone who had been online to witness the problems, it would be nice to know what they were.
I also have not run my updater, and I wont until this is all resolved.

AAAND I GOT IT! I had to completely disable bitraider >.>

Mine just sit there unable to download anything -.- and yes I have deleted the bitraider to see if that resolves anything.
As a side note I am running on windows 10.

Mine kept bouncing back and forth, so I decided to try a fresh install and it's not even beginning to download ANYTHING now!!!

My launcher seems to be stuck at 100% complete with a patch. I left it sit for HOURS and no luck. What gives?

Within the last two months, I have opened up 6 hyper crates, and a bunch of extra other cartel packs as well. And I have not gotten a single cartel certificate for trading in to the vendor for different items (Twi'lek dancer for instance). I remember a few months ago those used to actually drop, and a lot of other people I know in game have had the same problem with none of the cartel certificates dropping.
Is this a bug, or do I have dumb dumb luck?

So let me see if I get this straight:
"improvements in network connectivity" actually means "seldom anybody will be able to connect to the game"
"packs will be available permanently" actually means "packs will be removed without notice"
"higher drop rate for Silver and Gold items" actually means "you will get a metric ****ton of chance cubes"
Is this some sort of twisted experiment in the limits of customers' endurance? Are you doing this on purpose?
I whole heartedly agree with this! I opened TWO hyper crates, didn't get the new lightsaber, and got a BUNCH of the same deco, and not even the one I wanted.

How about the one sent out to those who finished the Makeb achievment before 4.0 was released? It's a very beautiful deco, and very big! I was half way through getting the achievment right before 4.0 was released.

or just give to the people who have participated in the game and played fair.

OK fine so then how about by the time the server is back up, WHOEVER LOGS IN within the next 48 hours after the servers are back online, would get the pet? Fair enough? Or do I have to be more specific for you sensitive little snowflakes who have complained so much so, that they've had to make ops easier to run.
