thanks for your advise! i used to run with sap strength too but i felt like having force suffusion as some sort of off-heal way better. i didnt take tempest mastery either since i found myself never using force storm in arenas since the snare has been removed just recently and i hate being forced to stay on spot for channelling. i also prefer electric bindings over backlash since it makes you escape focus way better in my opinion. both are pretty strong indeed.

hey guys, i am going to transfer my sorc back to TOFN in order to have a better pvp experience due to higher population. i already used to be playing on TOFN during season2. what i am currently looking for is an active pvp guild with players who are experienced in solo ranked arenas and also primarily focus on participating in solo ranked queue. i would love to join such a guild in order to do stuff like duels and some theorycrafting together if someone is willing to do so. my main issue is that i always used to be some kind of solo player and tried to figure out things on my own but i know from previous games i used to play that nothing can beat practical experience gained by duels with some really good pvpers since warzones are not challenging at all and are way too different compared to 4v4 small arena grounds where certain things matter more than others. this is not about showing off my skills or something like this. i am actually really looking for some sort of practise-partners in order to get better aiming for better results in the future ranked seasons and taking it to a higher level what i am not looking for is a selfcalled pvp-guild who only joins random warzones with their whole guild in order to stomp pick up groups and claiming to be superior. looking forward to any reply if this forum is being used for this stuff. thanks in advance.

can anyone tell me if the utility for affliction slow stacks with force slow? and is it worth not taking "emersion" which purges and grants immunity for movement-impairing effects and going for both ulitily points into bubble-CC instead? id love to take the affliction slow but i feel like i cant deny corrupted barrier for the extra-heals and force mobility. this is pretty tough to decide actually.

thats what i was considering too but i actually just put any utility points in my bubble CCs. thus i neither have the affliction slow nor do i have force mobility. i have yet to tell how usefull the heal from overload is. you think its worth going for it? i thought some extra heals might be helpful for some sustainability but affliction slow seems to be very nice too. i cant decide : /

thanks for every additional consideration guys! i really appreciate your help. something else id like to ask is whether you would suggest to go for "force mobility" which allows to use force leech while moving or take something else instead? i am not yet too sure which utilities are currently best in solo ranked for madness sorcs.

hey, is madness spec on sorcerers still viable in 3.0 in solo ranked arenas? i know most of you will try to convince me lightning is so much better but thats the same stuff people used to say during season2 and it was the madness sorcerers who got the highest rating during season2 so ... i might appreciate if someone who is sucesffully (!) playing solo ranked can tell me whether madness is viable or currently just useless. pls dont respond if you THINK you know the answer but cant back it up with success in solo ranked games. no offence thx for your suggestions

Why wouldnt you want it to be back in the game again? people would love to pay for it and it was actually the best looking inquisitor armor you ever developed. its been 3 years now. pls bioware you can also see the armor on the codex entry of Darth Serevin. i still dont give up the hope it will make its comeback one day we have seen some of the old skins to come back and i am still waiting for the best looking armor to be obtainable again. especially the mask.

they removed like 100% of the endgame armor with patch 1.2 and 2.0 back in 2012 and 2013 in order to force us to wear the alien predator swampy trash they accidentally designed. thats some kind of feature i guess, removing skins from time to time because removing content is always what should be done in MMOs. if you want to know what armors have been removed, just watch any trailer or look for SWTOR concept art. all the beautiful armors you can see there are gone because reasons but its getting too much offtopic. sorry for that.

no, i dont think its perfect at all. not even close. i didnt want to sound aggressive either, in case i did. thus i want to apologize. there are actually quite a lot things that bother me in this game so hard but i try to get over it. one major disappointment was the decision from BW to remove some of my all time favorite armors before i managed to get them on my character and that made me so sad (and it still does after finally 3 years) that i actually cant fully enjoy playing this game as much as i wish i could. whats even more ridiculous is the fact they still keep removing armors from season to season there are many other things like missing cross-servers for a better pvp experience and stuff like this ridiculous dye module system, no hood toggles, certain masks disable existing hoods and many other things but after more than 3 years now and having literally 0 possibilities to get in touch with any of the devs i started accepting they either dont give a damn or they are just not able to fix things for different reasons like crappy engine or what ever. who knows. but i still think that people just should not expect anything playing F2P since this game was never actually F2P. you cant even match colours without paying for it thus i still keep saying its a poor bait and not to be taken seriously at all.

its actually easy you either enjoy playing this game or you simply dont. each of us had to deal with any of the things you mentioned. it didnt matter tho since we enjoyed the game enough to keep playing. running slow below lvl 10? so what, it might be annoying the first 2hours and vanishes as soon as you get your lvl 10. collecting datacrons? i had quite a lot fun doing it to be honest. but i did it only once since i dont care about my alts too much anyway its not like you need datacrons in order to be competitive enough or whatever. they aint a must have. and f2p is actually just a bait. it is pretty worthless to try to play this game as a f2p user. you might start playing the very first levels and decide whether you give it a try or not but imho it makes no sense to continue playing this game with all the f2p restrictions. therefore pay 10bucks and enjoy playing or safe the money but dont be surprised its not that entertaining.

the ELO system never really worked in this game. i remember playing in season2 i won like 9 out of 10 games and still got queued with people who where like 800 rating below my rating since there werent enough people to be queued against each other. thus no matter how high your rating might be, you will never be out of so called "elo hell" as long as the amount of pvpers on your server is below 10 on the other hand its crap to blame anyone else than yourself having not a high rating since its always the same names who appear on the top of the leaderboards so i doubt this is bad luck on your side with low expertise mates or whatever reason you may find to be not succesfull

no, it wasnt. the amended mystic armor is the same as the ceremonial mystic and its actually quite different than the centurion force-masters pvp armor which i am talking about. SEE PICTURE compare it to the pictures in my initial post pls the only version of this type of armor that comes closest to the centurion version is the battlemaster force-master version which is still pretty different tho and lacks these bloody eye-parts on the mask and also the glowy purple crown. the centurion pvp gear did never have any return since 1.2 and i do still have some hope they somehow find their way back to the actual game.

@bioware why arent you just adding some kind of "classic gear vendor" which has already been suggested by many many players during the last years. this classic vendor could sell any removed armor-shell (without mods) people would like to obtain no matter how long it may have already been removed. lets say someone is not able to play during a certain patch or during a certain ranked pvp season and is coming back to this game. he will miss any chance to obtain the skins from the previous season if newer versions replaced them. sometimes people come only one single day too late and miss any opportunity to get to their favorite skin and you guys still keep removing skins every now and then. why would you even remove content from the game itself? it makes no point at all. the more variety in terms of customization people get, the more they will enjoy to play their toons. its so sad every time a new armor is going to be released, the older versions completely disappear forever. it makes me so sad after 3 years i was literally only a few days too late to get my favorite skin back in 2012 and still nothing ever changed.

there are some similar versions and yet they are completely different. the problem is that it is actually nearly impossible to reach any of the devs in order to get to know if they are even considering to bring those particular items back. i never unterstood why the devs would remove content anyway.

basically just glowy parts which look awesome. i heard someone calling it "glowy crown" which might describe it pretty well. this armor is literally THE armor sith sorcerers got promoted pre release. and its just gone and has never been obtainable ever since.

/bump this thread @bioware so many players keep asking for the removed armors/skins to be obtainable again since they have been removed about 3 years ago. there has been so many threads concerning this topic and we never got any reponse on any of those threads. why do you keep them away from us? why did they have been removed in first place anyway? bring those beautiful skins back to the game please. there are so many players who are willing to pay for them. everyone is fine with the idea they come back through the cartel market . they have already been designed and can still be found on certain NPCs. just make them obtainable for the players again please.

zum glück wird nicht nach vorstellungen von spielern wie dir gebufft/generft sondern nach der pvp community seid froh - im gegensatz zu der ganzen pve meute wissen die pvp spieler, wo die klassen stark sind und wo nicht.

force storm war lächerlich OP. jeder einigermaßen gute spieler war sich dessen bewusst. wenn ihr im PVE ernsthaft schwierigkeiten habt ohne 6sekunden AoE snare (ohne cooldown:o) müsst ihr halt spielen lernen. sinnloser afk skill der lächerlich broken war und nix hindert euch daran ihn weiterhin zu spammen. aber jetzt könnt ihr halt zwischendrin keine emails checken.
