I'm lvl 39 ATM, rank 26 valor, usually place #1-2 in PVP for damage done and medals received and an active participant in all PVP games, meaning I cap in Huttball, hold down objectives, etc. I'm specc'd very similar to the Sniper's handbook's Engineer guide for levelling as I find it the easiest to level up with. That being said, I cannot believe people who say they solo heroics their level as a Sniper. I find it hard to take down PVE Elite mobs my level for class quests (Quesh is a good example, Master Berrin Fraal owned me hardcore, Doctor Lokin couldn't keep up heals and I was down within seconds after stimming endurance and medpacking. I'd like to think that I'm a good sniper, and have a solid rotation, but I still can't fathom people doing heroics without issue as they claim to do so on these forums. Could someone shed some light for me? or even better, can anyone point me to an around my level video of a sniper soloing a heroic at their level?

As an aside, any idea when im getting my 3rd companion? lvl 29 in alderaan atm

I have to rest after every fight because she can't really tank well - I'm lvl 28 and I can't fight more than 1 silver at a time without her dying..

Honestly - I want to understand what the purpose of Slicing was, and what Bioware thinks Slicing is supposed to be. Is it really supposed to make money? if so, it's failing to do so now. If it wasn't? what was the point of it? Augments? I find them really useless, and they don't sell well on GTN. I think removing Slicing would have been better than this nerf, perhaps that's where it's going. Either way, sign me up as another disappointed TOR player.
