  2. Thanks Eudoxia, you beat me to this. I have experienced this bug as well. Last night (11/29), I flew about 6 matches. I am a subscriber (obviously) & had guild bonus, consumable bonus, and full DvL XP armor. The 1st 2 or 3 matches awarded me a little over 400,000 XP each, while the last matches awarded a whopping 1000 to 1500 XP each. I was using my character, Enurrsha. This needs to be corrected quickly, the lack of development & lack of fixes of many-years-old bugs have already decimated the player-base of GSF enough - it does not need any more devastating problems. Thanks, Enurrsha
  3. Good point on missiles and the Pike/Quell. I would propose something like.... Advanced Missile Capacitor -50% Missile Lock-On and Reload Times (-20% base, -30/40/50% upgrades) (might also have an ammo capacity boost) (or whatever numbers)
  4. This sounds great. Now I need to hurry up and pick a pub toon to transfer over to join Mr-goodkat.
  5. Wait.... WHAT!?!?!? I must have missed a memo. My apologies. ... (a very short while later) ... 2v-R8 get your clunky butt over here!! Some butler you turned out to be, it's back to target dummy paint for you!
  6. Seriously, what is wrong with you Saevius ?!?!?! Stop acting like the pie doesn't exist, it's the pie man, not the cookies, the PIE !!!
  7. /signed x 1,000,000+ @Nemarus.... This sounds great to me. It seems like a very elegant solution to the strike buff need. @Eudoxia - based on the OP... the Advanced Capacitor would only apply to the guns, not the missiles/torpedoes. Yes this would buff HLCs a lot, but all that really does is what is intended... to make strikes more valuable & force everything else on the field to treat them as the threat they always should have been. Power Dive, Repair Probes, etc give enough to the Clarion/Imperium imho to offset any disparity that may arise HLCs v Quads or whatever, especially when you consider how close to "being there" the T3 strike already is. @DEVS ... please Please PLEASE take the time & give this a shot ... save copies of the files you change & if GSF falls apart you can always copy/paste back to the way it was, but honestly, I just don't see this as doing anything more than what is intended... bringing strikes back into the competitive mix across the board.
  8. Just wondering when .. or more likely IF this will get fixed. At the same time, it would be nice if the ridiculously old disappearing level 4 & 5 component upgrades bug would be fixed as well.
  9. Since this exchange happened in /gsf I made the assumption that all those involved wanted it to be public knowledge, so here we go. I've had a busy day so it took me a while to process the 50 or so screenshots it took me to capture this 30 minute or so exchange this morning. I apologize that there is a roughly 45sec gap at one point where I wasn't paying attention & got caught by the dreaded inactivity auto-logout, otherwise, to the best of my knowledge, the entire exchange is here. I have redacted non-gsf chat items (character logins, guild chat, whatever). The only /gsf chat items that I redacted were references to personal health-related information that I will not pass along without permission. This is how it was and I plan to make no comment on any of it here, you can all make of this what you will. These are laid out to be read as columns (top to bottom then shift to the right). I'm not the best at slapping this sort of stuff together, so I'm sure there are all sorts of ways I could have done this better, oh well. No doubt this post will get deleted in short order anyway. As soon as my registration goes through at the SRW guild open forums, I will post this there as well. ***WARNING*** I do not use the profanity filter in swtor chat, and as such, this is your fair warning that these screenshots contain language that you might find offensive. All of the above said, click below if you so choose. Image1 Image2 Image3 Image4 Image5 Image6 Image7
  10. I just wanted to clarify a bit. I'm not in any way talking about a merger of servers such as has happened in the past (such as those of us originally on Hanharr I think it was, were moved to JC). I am referencing the possibility of implementing a true mega-server type structure, such as does not presently exist in SWTOR. Sure an ordinary merger of 2 or more servers into 1, in which no hardware is actually changed will lead to performance issues, but that is not the situation that would be happening in the implementation of a mega-server system. I could go into a lengthy explanation of how currently, for instance, Jedi Covenant (or Harbinger or whatever) is not a single server machine but instead a whole host of machines that are interconnected & working in tandem, but I don't think this thread really needs that at this point. I will say though that if done right, or at least pretty close to right, I would be hugely in favor of megaservers, as it would imho fix Q issues, and in the case of GSF, actually give matchmaker a big enough pool to try to work properly. Later folks.
  11. Hey Des - I appreciate you doing these, and sorry I've not made it to a single one yet on JC. 8-9 is a little earlier than my normal time. I'll try to make it to one of these on SL, I've been meaning to put an alt imp side there for a while now anyway.
  12. Agreed. The new PvE/PvP focus option, increased character name size, & being able to have a [space] in character names all seem like the first solid steps towards some form of megaserver implementation - whether or not Musco wants to deny and then, I expect, later use some other term for it in order that the denial will technically not have been a lie. I'm pragmatic though, you can call it whatever you want - if it gets us back to the early GSF days of constant quick Q pops, I'm all for it.
  13. This is a copy/paste of what I posted to your bug report thread.... ----- I now have the exact same issue with Imperial Scout #3 (Imp logo) paint job. Ships that were already using it still have it displayed, but it is no longer in the list. No clue if I had #4 or not, or if there even has ever been a #4. Edit: I can confirm that the Imperial Logo paint job is SI-03, as I have unused copies I haven't given out to alternate toons yet. Also, the inventory item to unlock the paint job will not allow a preview, but it still "lights up" or "shadows" based on whether or not a toon has the paint job. Right-clicking appears to work as it should, but I did not let the process complete as I did not want to potentially sacrifice it.

  15. IMHO it's hard to judge the size of the overall player base only by looking at GSF Q & fleet. I am certain it is less overall than this time last year but who knows by how much, and GSF population is certainly down, but it is an almost-totally-ignored-by-devs mini-game with no direct connection to any other part of the main game. Daytime GSF Q (and the overall player skill level) has certainly declined, but other than Monday nights (no conquest) I still get pretty quick Q times at night. In time, hopefully, the overall player skill level will rise again as newer players increase both their piloting skills and ship quality. As for a drop in fleet headcount, I think a huge amount of that is due to the existence of Odessen. About the only thing someone who can access the NPCs & terminals on Odessen would need to go to fleet for would be fleet gen chat LOL. Regardless of their true degree, these apparent population declines are a large part of why I would truly love to see a migration to megaservers (provided of course that these would be robust new server farms, rather than a retasking/reconfiguring of current hardware). Anyway, blast ya in the skies later.
  16. I'll chime in here.... Type 2 Strike Fighter - Pike / Quell Boy... definitely... it's all about launching missiles EDIT: Type 1 Scout - NovaDive / Blackbolt Given that it can be configured with up to 3 missile breaks... Girl
  17. There are plenty of us that play imp side. What character are you flying?
  18. Welcome to the obsess...erm... FUN ... yeah that's it !!!
  19. Yeah, that's what I was thinking, I just wanted to verify it before I start messing around with it.
  20. Hey Drak - Sorry if this has been covered before. This little curiosity popped into my head the other day. Background I usually keep a Pike/Quell on my bars for "fun / goof-off" matches. I typically have Concussion Missiles set for Armor Ignore, and then either Clusters or Protorps depeding on what I happen to be feeling like using that day. the curiosity: copilot ability Bypass + Concussion Missiles when does the extra shield piercing "check" happen? when the missile is launched or when it impacts the target? or both somehow? I can see logic in it working either way, although at impact would make the most sense I think. The "catch" would be if the ability is active at launch but times out before the impact. I'm just trying to figure out when I'd want to hit the copilot ability to make the concept work. If my quick math is right, using Bypass, an armor ignoring Concussion Missile hit should be a guaranteed 488 hull damage. It seems like this might be fun to play around with from time to time. Thanks.
  21. I think what we have here is just a horrible time-of-day-related talent differential. I've flown almost nightly for the last several months or more on various toons, especially Enurrsha (200 matches or so just on him in the last 3-4 months if I had to guess). I have seen that generally pub side dominates afternoon hours into early evening & imp takes over around 9/10pm eastern or so.
  22. As I was reading this thread I was pretty much writing Zuck's post in my head, so no need for that now, pretty much all of this I second.
  23. Yep, that chess match was particularly insane.
  24. What was the final point total? It was around 4.2m when I logged out from Shadowlands last night.
