  1. It has been resolved, I don't know much of the details, just that it took another call [edit: to SWtOR support] and that person was more helpful and everything works now. Lesson learned... keep at it. And yeah, bad time of year for support. Thank you folks!
  2. My apologies, he did in fact get through. I did not intend for the lack of clarity. Tried meant "to get help" which wasn't how it ended up sounding. And I was worried he was getting the runaround since the calls were last week, between holidays.
  3. Hello all! So a friend of mine has the error in the title show up whenever he tries to redeem a time card. He called SWtOR support, and they directed him to EA's support line. He called EA support and they told him his account was listed as "pending" and that he should just create a new account and to contact SWtOR support for assistance. But this means he loses all of his characters and progress and the hundreds (or thousands) he has spent on the game (since they don't do account merges last I checked). Not sure what to do at this point. Any ideas?
  4. Ok so I'm not the only one. Bought a 60 day single purchase a couple weeks ago, then today get an email about a change and I'm up to 79 days. Nothing in my purchase history and nothing on my CC so I was kinda confused.
  5. This just started when I installed the newest driver from Nvidia, so I think its the culprit but I want to see if there is a fix other than rolling back the drivers. My screen looks like its trying to fit a 16:9 ratio on a 4:3/5:4 screen (everything is smushed making things look tall). However the game is set at 1280 x 1024 (my native resolution). So it shouldn't be smushed. It should be just fine, like it always has been. This is the only game effected, so if anyone has any ideas other than rolling back the drivers, I would be greatly appreciative. Note: yes I know its an old monitor. I've had it for over 5 years and it works fine... other than this. Edit: if this was the wrong place to put this and it should have gone tot he customer support section (just noticed that existed) please could a forum admin move it... sorry about that.
  6. I play with a 250-500 ping right now on Gav. I have no trouble with any activity I am in (even PvP is fine mostly). The only time I have had an issue is when I randomly disconnect, but I had that on the NA and EU servers as well, so its likely on my end. Also it is very infrequent now. My point is as long as your ping is stable, your game experience will be mostly fine. Though things get difficult past 1k... My only hope is that I won't lose anything other then potentially character names in the merge.
