If it makes you feel better that your not alone.........I have had this problem for a year now. It got so bad that I was not able to get into the game for 3 months!!! Once I was able to get on ,then I was able to make a ticket THAT THEY DELETED!!! If you want to wait 2 hours,call the number even though I usually get disconnected before hand. I have put up with alot of crap since launch but this takes the cake while THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY !!!! They do not care from the experience I've had. They want to say its YOUR fault and your dongle battery or internet provider is responsible........IF THAT WERE THE CASE<THEN HOW AM I ABLE TO LOG INTO THIS FORUM TO POST?!?!?!?!?!....Read this as fast as you can because they will delete it ,I'm sure.

Lagging?...It won't even let me log on after 9 tries. Sometimes I have to restart my pc and it will let me in but not this time. I have this issue once a week ,EVERY week and it is ridiculous for a PAYED service. It took forever to fix a dead pixel back in the day so I don't exactly have my hopes up ........but this crew really need to get their s$%t together for such a minor accomplishment.

I have been here since launch.I have 8 fully decorated strongholds that no one visits I don't belong to a guild ,got all of my characters to 70 and basically just enjoy fixing up my strongholds by selling crafted loot on the GTN. I also almost NEVER post on the forums . BUT!....After seeing your 2 strongholds, I had to log in and say "JOB WELL DONE!!!" You put great effort and coin into them and it shows. My hat is off to you!

this account was under the name "Fablesinger" during beta. When the game launched,they changed the requirements and the computer that was fine for beta was no longer and it wouldn't even load and the account stayed valid but not played. In March (immediately after launch) another pc was found that would work. It was at that time the account name was changed to "Ndursinger" which then rest its "birthdate" The account was owned by me and my little brother. I have pretty much been the only player since april of that year. My brothers character is still level 13 lol! I have paid every month since and will continue to Things were quite a bit different in beta and less so after launch. Everything you did was the loooooong way around then came the expansions,cartel market, starfighter......... A whole lot of this came off the backs of the original players feedback and pts involvement over the years . So if you enjoy the game as it stands right now, there are quite a few founders you need to thank. Do these founders deserve more credibility in their posts? I believe they do if they were part of the active crowd that stayed in the developers ears. I myself?...not really because i am pretty much a casual and feedback/posting here has not really been my thing. I do say that I hate it when someone( whose posts here have helped me over the years) leaves from disgust or burnout ...its kinda like losing a co-worker of 4 years:(

I'll be ordering Corsairs Vengeance 16 gig (2x8) 240 pin DDR3 sdram 1600 w/9 latency for $66 shortly so that should take care of that issue. If the case proves to satisfy me in the long rung then I'm sure this will be a project that will never be finished lol. I will be doing all of my surfing,picture editing and business stuff on this so I'm sure all 8 cores will come in handy For now (unless proven wrong for $130 range) the GTX 750ti should do the job.....I just wonder how well.I would love max graphics to be on my 1920x1080 res 24 inch tv that I'm using as a monitor. Like I said ,PVP and me will never be hand in hand, Plus any guild activities,I have 2 businesses and I never know when I'll be on and when I do it may be just to check out the gtn ......and yes,I only play SWTOR-I was 9 when I saw the first showing of SW in 1977..........other games just don't pop on my priority list I have frequented Newegg since my X09 days and have known about Toms:cool: I have 6 other pcs that I use at the house,this will be one of the 3 "hands off but mine" PC's. Who knows what this thing will be over the next few years. I hate the slippery slope my friend has gotten himself into- he has spent 3k over 2 years on a gaming rig he has yet to boot and has already deemed it out of date and has shelved the project. Not a bad idea. Sadly its not in the cards for this project. I bought my first gaming pc in 2004/5 called the Compaq X09. It was $2700. I maxed that thing out and could NOT blow it up lol! It became a DAW for my studio:D It was a mere fluke that I ended up with my pavillion g7 laptop 4 years ago and even weirder how I inherited this SWTOR account and have subbed since damned near launch. I have played on the lowest settings all of this time.....anything with a dedicated graphics card that runs under 87 degree celcius core temp is an improvement in my book.Its time for the laptop to be relieved of its gaming duties and go back to being a simple laptop. It got me through 8 level 60 toons ,2 level 65 toons and 4 others. It also got me through many events and 4 decked out strongholds so it did its tour of duty. I have booted up this new PC and its bios and case ARE CyberpowerPC. I have updated from windows 8.1 to windows 10 successfully (8.1 sucked IMHO) I updated all drivers and installed 200 gigs of necessary data files. I then loaded SWTOR from scratch (took 2 hours) and entered the game and set everything to NVidias suggested specs for the card it came with. SOOOO MUCH BETTER then what I had!!! I never knew that the grass and trees moved LOL! I needed a back up PC on a budget to replace what I had and did it for $336. Next objective is a pair of 8gig ram sticks and for what I need ,a GTX 750ti for $129. it fits in budget down the road. I never PVP so I'll get by just fine as the casual player I am. I'm in my late 40's and know people steep in the PC World and advice is easy but NONE of them play SWTOR and thats why I turned to this community for the advice. The fact was that I was in a liquidation center that has done well by me in the past and out of all of their PC's (many) http://www.consumerdepot.com/ I picked this unit from the lot so I didn't have a choice of components What I was wanting to know was where was the best place to start getting it better

Nah, I understood. Out of the hundreds of pc's they had there and the price point,I thought I did well. Having too many cores is like having a firearm....better to have one and not need it than need it and not have it. I plan on doing more than gaming with this pc., ...possible video and music editing as well.(yeah,the video card is already slated to go into the wifes pc when i find a suitable replacement;) ) Thank you again!

Yeah,just bought a desktop for the wife and a laptop for work so i'm a little tapped lol I'm hoping that (see update of first post) that the AMD 8320 8 core vishera/piledriver will do better. I was hoping for an I7 but i went with what was available and it cost less than starting from scratch. I hope to get everything up and going before my laptop that I game with bites the dust. Yeah,I'm not much of an AMD fan but my wifes has lasted 11 years. My friend went somewhere on the net and did a comparison test of this AMD vs the I3 arandale dual core 4 thread that is in my laptop that I use now and the FX6100 smoked it. I would actually prefer an I7 but its way out of my price range. I have built my own and its fun but I'm behind a few years in the tech and don't have much time to catch up. I doubt that I could build one cheaper..........this thing is $400.: My budget is $500 and I need to get something up and going before my laptop takes a piss . I also need to get a monitor and I am looking at a new/old 24" hd flat tv thats hdmi 1080p for $75. I got one for the wifes pc and it works great. I'm going to go look at this thing today . Sadly my I3 G7 is in need for replacement but need to make sure that the PC I am looking for can do this game well. I presently run on minimum settings and would like to bump up a bit. I am a casual gamer and have a very low budget. Someone presented to me the opportunity to by a pc that may fit what I need.....but my knowledge is limited. UPDATE: I decided against the pc I listed earlier...here are the new stats AMD 8320 8 core 3.5 ghz processor Nvidia geforce GT720 graphics card GIGABYTE GA-970A-DS3P motherboard 4gb Patriot ddr3 ram Toshiba 500gb hard drive Cyberpower X-Titan 100 case LG M-Disc cd/dvd r/w the parts alone are close to $500 shipped so I could NOT of built it cheaper I paid $336.99 with Windows 8.1 bought it local,got a 1 year warranty for $60. How will it do with SWTOR?? And What are the weakest links to beef up first?? Any advice would be appreciated

Absolutely nothing...................no interest in competing in a flawed environment. I do believe that if the system of PVP'ing is acceptable by those who do partake in such events that the system should NOT be altered just to appeal to a disinterested group as what would include myself.

But we're the wrong crowd .We're powerless to an extent. We can give advice to others but we can't actually solve one issue at all. I think there are many sane individuals here that will agree with your aggravation towards the people that use the bots and hacks but with any problems in game, we have protocols to follow as the person a post or 2 above has mentioned.
