What a childish and immature attitude. So by default you treat everyone you meet in life with indifference bordering on contempt unless they somehow actively 'earn your respect' whatever that is, a meaningless expression. How about if instead of expecting everyone to 'earn your respect' you treat them with a bit of humanity? Too much to ask I guess. It's very easy to spout the sort of pseudo-existential bullsh*t that you think you believe in, but I'd like to see you put your money where your mouth is i.e. be genuinely unconcerned if everyone you met in life treated you with complete indifference.

As things stand, anyone doing end-game will quickly re-roll Biochem. Bioware will have to either nerf Biochem or give other professions high-end items only they can use, otherwise there will be no market for consumables. As a Biochem with all the Rakata 'consumables', I have no need to buy anything, ever. A simple solution would be to add new stims/medpacs/adrenals that are not reusable and that are slightly better than the Rakata ones.

At a guess: Adding/changing disks in the SAN (storage area network). Usually hot-swappable but there are some things you can only do offline. Reconfiguring/adding network connectivity between servers - bridges/routers/hubs Updating/adding DNS servers, BigIP servers, load-balancers. Applying patches. TESTING and then TEST AGAIN.

I actually like the way there is no separate US/EU 'zone' and that if we really want to we can play on US servers, or US players on EU servers, but it would be good to have separate EU/US admin so that there is proper EU timezone support. Hopefully it's something they will introduce in the future. It does seem odd that there is a good 6 hour 'dead zone' between the start of the working day in EU and the release of the first EGA wave of the day. Surely it would have been in their best interests to release, say, 6 waves a day (one every 4 hours) with users equally shared between EU & US. Ah well, I'm at work today anyway so it doesn't really affect me but it still seems odd.

Also consider the time differences with the rest of EU. In another MMO I played we had people from UK and people from Russia, with everything inbetween. It gets to 11pm UK time and it's 2am in Russia and midnight or 1am in the rest of Europe, which makes raiding a pain. I know it's a PVP server but PVP servers raid too (in fact they tend to be better raiders). Anyway, I'll be joining LoL by the look of it (I'm in London)
