well I'm glad people got into my idea literally months after I posted it and had already quit. Anyways the simple fact is people who pipe up and shout about how it's against lore or whatever rarely even believe they are right in the first place and even if they do they are still just trolls. Don't feed them. This is a galactic level stage. Even assuming all followers of the jedi order desired to follow the code to the letter their code goes against what it means to be a living breathing organism. emotion is a reflection of baser instincts that are coded into the being of living animals. denying that is simply pointless and destructive. So any lore arguments can take a course in bio before I take so much as a grain of salt from their argument. That being said even assuming it is plausible to follow the code that strictly as they intend as with any religion the jedi faith can be followed in as many ways as there are people to follow it. This includes people who agree with core values such as purging harmful entities and protecting good people while disagreeing with practices of the faith such as denying emotion/intimacy. Saying he'd be called a heretic is one thing. saying he's impossible is just plain ignorant. so please continue to argue with the wall I'm moving on. anyways I'm still looking and Trasmythian is in the process of being reworked with the new mechanics I just got introduced to so he's 30ish and poking around balmorra at the moment if anyone is interested in being part of this idea rather than just discussing the validity or novelty of it.

I wanna RP my little(level 19) Jedi but I also wanna level. Doesn't have to be a gay rp or anything just something to do between taxi stations and whatnot. Trasmythian is a rather flirtatious type with anyone but only goes so far unless he really likes a guy. So if you're game drop me a message.

Except that it completely phases out hundreds of hours of work they put into making all of the appearances for all of the equipment when suddenly everyone is running around in slave girl outfits and tight sith warrior pants. This is something you should have to earn since it does in fact make many hours of careful alterations, concept drawing, and artistry get VERY shoved aside. Also in case you hadn't noticed any MMO that deals in gear like this mysteriously LACKS this feature? because they put a lot of time and energy into the appearance of each piece. If you're playing CoH or whatever where they don't have to make the visual correspond to the stats and such where once they make it it's done instead of coding it to match an equippable item. I understand the desire to have this control but I also understand these things don't just happen. I also understand that because this is something you want this big *** shortcut to that it's worth pursueing as an unlockable. Maybe make it a global unlock for those with less than enough drive to actually earn anything but this should not be a standard especially not for free trial accounts who spend a week watching the cutscenes and then quit.

She posted this in the star wars section. Anyways I agree with this just small alterations. Have it be a character perk that you need top level character or top social level to buy. Make the RPers have something to go for. Instead of just playing till 15 when they get their ship and never needing to play that toon again. This would motivate RPers to play all their characters to top level. Also motivate them to play end game more since they have to handle the pieces before they can use them. So getting all of the 50 sets would be more appealing to people who are here for the RP more than the game mechanics. This of course is just my idea so do what you will but I really think it would step up activity across the board and have many players gunning for 50 that would otherwise hang out in the cantina and twiddle their thumbs. As for how to access it I'd suggest using the elevator interface on the ship's hold so it doubles as a wardrobe. No re-fitting nessecary just build the UI and write the code to track the gear that passed through their hands.
