Hi everyone! I am trying to find magenta schematics and thought since I cant find alot online I might as well make a topic about it for everyone to share their experience. I know the lower level magenta schems drop off world bosses, I have found a couple from Tatt and Alderaan. I also know that pre 1.2 the +33 versions could be bought from a vendor on the fleet, however he no longer exists. The same +33 schems can be obtained from killing the Belsavis World boss as far as I know however have not been able to kill him as of yet to confirm. Lastly I hear rumors (mostly from these forums) that the much sought after +41 or +44 magenta schematics can be obtained from random mobs in the black hole. This is where I have been focusing much of my effort the last week or so, I have done the dailys every day and the weekly twice however still no drop on the schematic. I have spent at least 10 hours just running around slaughtering everything with no luck. Does anyone have any other info on these crystal schematics or any other special ones (such as purple schematics) Also for those of you who have managed to get this drop from the black hole what mob was it on? Again this is just a topic to share ideas and information. Thanks for reading!

ok I dont have jerky but have been helping look the past few days on hoth. This is just a idea but I remember at one point walking into the back of a spaceship like a shuttle that was empty and it was a little weird to me. Maybe this shuttle is where you guys should look, this about the hint, a dead end thats not a mountain or cave I remember walking in the back of it and it was just a dead end at the cockpit wall of the shuttle and I was like *** but now it kinda might make sense. Again I have no jerky and have not found it this is just a idea to help people.

Most likely it will be like the bird eggs, each faction will have at least one "nest" to get the pet. This would mean looking out in the open in mutual areas might not be the correct idea. We should look into areas that each faction has a decent amount of control over, just like the eggs. yes the imps can run down south on alderaan and go for their egg but its deep into rep territory. This would lead me to think its not actually in each factions spaceport but rather just somewhere that would be considered safe for each faction. Also we should look at how much distance would be between these areas, on alderaan its basically one egg in the top right corner of the world map and the other is in the bottem center/ bottem left area so a good chunk of distance between the two.

you guys were talking about someone on the test server finding something he could click but now its walled/door'ed off? Did anyone try the explove stuff that the vendor who sells the animal trap has? Maybe its used to blow open a spot in the wall or a door now? Or that weird looking piece of ice in the canyon a couple pages back? use the melter or the explosives there maybe?

Here a thought maybe we are looking for the wrong thing? I had this idea today when I used my grapple hook gun thing to get somewhere, what if we look for those spots on hoth like in bases and ships ect.... that would be the simple solution, we missed one that pulls us somewhere we otherwise cant get to then its our theory from there?

Hey Modabi, im on Deathwind as well! Im Imp and tried to add you but was told you didnt exist lol, so I assume you are republic. However all is not lost we can make alts and friend each other, my main has a couple of those ferns and I cant use them for anything so I will save them up for you, also this is awsome cause when we do figure this out hopefully I can slip you some cash or rare crystals for a jerky

Yeah as I was leaving the area to be on my way again there is actually a third cave exactly the same size, this one was well as a single dead taun in the center and a single wampa inside it. This third cave is not "attached" to the others physically its kinda standing out in the open by itself on like a island if you know what I mean, kinda hard to explain but the third cave is not part of the same mountain as the other two but its VERY close to them and the same exact setup. just find this setup very odd, esp. with those craigs in the walls, I have been playing games ALONG time and when I see this usually its there so when they spawn a NPC in, you dont actually see them come out of thin air right in front of you.

Just found a couple small shallow caves on hoth by accadent. Very off the way they to me, both caves have a single wampa in them and the first has a dead taun exactly in the center. There are also partial spots in the walls I can kinda walk in a little bit (spawn place so you dont see it spawn in?) I killed both wampas in the 2 caves (they are side by side) however nothing happened. If someone wants to go there and clear these tiny caves then use the jerky or even just have it in INV that would be worth trying as I have none yet Here are cords and I will do pics as well. -3085 by 84 Its very close to imp start area on Hoth behind a spaceship that crashed and talk soldiers. Another idea that might be worth pursuing, what if you have a to clear a area. For example I was checking out a couple dead tauns I found on Hoth and right on top of them were 3 of those big Ice Lions (cant remember what there called atm) but anyway what if you have to kill them all then use the jerkey before it will appear?

Hi everyone, been following this thread since page 1 and love this kinda thing in a game I had a thought so I figured I would throw it out there. Everyone agrees 2 planets are involoved, alderaan and Hoth. Everyone has scoured all of Hoth but what about Alderaan? Just cause the capture thing is there dosent mean the taun couldnt be? I mean the Jerkey could be only thing needed from Hoth and Alderaan does have alot of snowey areas and caves and such. Also it has the Oro Eggs and the new magenta crystals (seems the devs favored that planet to me for this stuff) so maybe people should check all over there to see if there are locked up tauns in a cave with smugglers or something like that.

Any chance you would be willing to take screenshots of your map screen when you find one and post them here so we can compile a list of all areas when we do runs. I have found 2 spots both in that ravine very close to one another but thats it.

I can 100% confirm that the magenta +16 schematic drops from Ulgo Seigebreaker. My Friend and I 2 manned him and got the schem on the first attempt about 48 hours ago, im also fairly certain it can drop off Trapjaw but he didnt drop it when we killed him.

Now that the crystal has been located we need to find where to refine it for imps. Otherwise it's about useless. My buddy and I 2-manned the alderaan world boss to get the schematic for the color crystal. Now I can start making these things as soon as I can find where to refine it. Anyone have any leads or ideas?

Ok been looking based off this thread on my server all morning! JUST FOUND THEM! Took lots of screens including map screenshots to show EXACTLY where these are spawning for everyone, I dont feel its something that needs to be kept a secret to make money with lol. Screens will be up in a few have to host them first. Thanks to everyone who kinda gave me clues, I can 100% confirm they are east of House Thule on the eastern river cliff areas. They are hard to reach have to slide down mountain and THEY DO NOT APPEAR ON RADAR. Can be mined by anyone even without arch.
