  1. I should of opened my post with the last time I played, around the time Dread fortress was fresh outta the oven. It's been a good long time. I'm very late to the stronghold party. But I've always wanted that skin look and the only other place I know you can get it is through pvp- now the notion of grinding that out for another 30 valor ranks sounds nightmarish so I was stoked to see a decent looking recolor up. Now you said Contraband slots can drop it- as luck would have it my guild has one such machine and I've got nothing else I want nearly so much
  2. Stronghold packs are no longer in the market and I want the champion rank gear. Did I hear wrong or are the correct slots just not that common?
  3. So I've been told that somewhere there exists a slot machine that spits out stronghold items and/or BSR rep items. As opposed to waiting for the re-release of stronghold packs or sniping them off the GTN. Is this at all the case? or am I outta luck until the stronghold packs come around again?
  4. Honestly all I want to see is a proper "sith magic" tree for sorcs in place of worthless madness (numbers aside the tree feels scattered and lacking in flavor) or a pure "force" tree. End tier is a proper version of Force Crush and the skills revolve around pulls, knockdowns and quasi cc with a focus on solid aoe damage and debuffs
  5. I'd be happy for shotguns alone really, we have the tech as far as the setting goes. But yeah, most of them are well into the impossible zone
  6. Easy there tiger, If this rule was not explained and there was no other means of assessing the information then at the absolute most that deserved maybe a warning. Now if the info was there and the OP neglected to visit the site, check the guild tab and whatnot then the ball is more in his court for the blame- that said being new also influences things. Did this guild know he was an mmo virgin? was he directed to the info or lack thereof? We have too many unknowns to just start going "you don't speak up"
  7. I get the feel they want, less obscene and more something has unfolded that enveloped your face a pity it still look like absolute garbage though
  8. I'd like to revamp with my suggestions/beliefs. Some are viable, others impossible 1: Shotgun mainhand- A tanking.dps weapon for BH/Trooper, you would start out with a secondhand scattergun and slowly evolve up to combat and plasma shotguns. Close range, bulky looking things that carry a nice meaty boom when fired. 2: Knife dual wield- the agent/smuggler answer to dual wielding. Each class has a meele heavy tree so why not implement some pure meele/stealth gameplay in there. 3: Two-handed saber- Basically a bigger lightsaber, longer, thicker, a claymore/greatsword for the swtor age. I dont have much more on this vague idea. 4: Saber-staff- Not a two bladed weapon, something more in line with a force pike or polearm terminating in one of more saber blades. A foci for force abilitys or symbol of power. Admittedly this would demand some elaborate attack animations, but given the force casters rarely meele sorcs and sages should be fine. 5: Bolt guns- we all know the blaster pistols can me small and sleek, but if a class must use them, could we not have some truly massive hand cannon style of weapons? Something that looks and sounds like it needs armor assistance to lift and fire, and would make sence to tank things with?
  9. When my BH can use rifles or a combat/plasma shotgun, or even the giant cannon. Then you may have your rifle commando
  10. I would pay so much money to obtain another black core green crystal from the market. GTN prices on my server are obscene... and as irony would have it, I've got all of one, with worthless stats for everything, on the jug I never play. It sits there, taunting me So yes, black-green and perhaps the generic black-black or black-cyan. More of these funky colors with new core combinations/effect bound to the crystal instead of the saber
  11. After my experience so far the best class stories have thus far been 1: Sith warrior- I'm a sucker for the thug/enforcer mindset and as one of the Seven (7) people who actually like Baras I found his methods and manner to be surprising and infinity pleasing to work for as a sith lord. Right up until the end I had no great complaints with the story. Well, aside from one or two companion quirks 2: Agent- Started off a little weak taking orders from Darth Mask in between intelligence missions but things took a sudden turn before too long that got me hooked and personally outraged/keen to see it finished and once the action started to heat up in late act 2-3 I saw what the fuss was about. My only complaints below 3: Bounty Hunter: While pretty much all of act one bored me to death after you set events in motion act two and three started to liven up some more, and while I'm rarely invested in a positive way for these story's the sense of outrage I felt during the agent story started here. My gripes here however are fairly major, and only the inquisitor being the Worst Thing Ever saves the BH from the bottom Lastly: Inquisitor- What can I saw, from my first meeting with overseer Harken through to the very end nothing about this class felt compelling, there was no sense of growth. With Zash sending you out on a thinly veiled scavenger hunt that proves you are going to make enemy's under her and the most wasteful aspects of the sith on display I finished this class feeling sick to have made it my main for gameplay reasons alone. I would not recommend leveling an inquisitor
  12. because me half-assing and dragging your matches down is the better alternative?
  13. Bioware, I will pay you real money, I will pay a flat fee or gamble on crates all you like. Just please.. give me some way to aquire the BM orange shells without having to pug and valor-scum my way through a months worth of pvp matches that I have no desire to be in. I don't care how pvp players feel, I dont care if they think this will somehow lessen them. The best gear in the game, for several classes and its locked behind pointless walls of gated grind for no better reason then because that's how its always been. Give us a Battlemasters contraband pack and I will throw so much money away at you..
  14. That is Exactly what I did. I ran the last few worlds alone or death-grinding with jaesa rather then use the creature who had just attempted to see me dead. That said I suggest a slightly different approach, instead of just slapping a new skin on him as others have suggested. Why not give us an option to have him sent off for punishment and re-education? Have him come back to us a heavily cyborged healbot with 80% of his personality wiped. His talents are useful and should not be wasted while the corruption of his betrayal can still be cut out
  15. Personally I think extremes are needed. On a PVE server (Harbinger for me) it should not be possible to ever flag yourself, or interact with the other faction in a pvp manner outside of warzones. The cross-playstyle contamination leads only to issues like these in addition to "pvp" heroes whose only experience is safely queing or griefing during the unfortunately designed gree event. That said I've been reduced to ignoring the pvp quests and taking extreme care not to group with, or heal any flagged player out in the rest of ilum.
