  1. Blueprint fragments are considered grey items when you sell garbage at a vendor and they will be sold as such and are not available to buy back....
  2. Hoping that the server maintenance fixes some of the issues I have seen lately on Star Forge. Sometimes when in a personal stronghold, the tool tips do not appear when hovering over the item. It is not consistent and usually when you leave the stronghold and return it works again.
  3. The Chains in the Dark graphic is staying up an awful long time when logging out.... Is there backend maintenance or updates going on?
  4. Dear Broadsword, for the love of God please create a mission to locate the Vornells to shut up the Kessan's landing farmer...
  5. Companion Customization - Black Haired Wookie
  6. Bump this topic. It is still occurring and we shouldn't have to download the game to move files to Steam when it was something broken by a patch.
  7. Also still happening for me as well. Running game through Steam.
  8. Disconnected 3x this morning. Also experiencing a lot of lag.
  9. Cannot log into SWTOR this morning. Have internet. Can log into website just not game. Is Star Forge down?
  10. The conquest points listed in the Roster tab of the Guild Window are always about 10,000 more than actually listed in the Progress bar under the Conquest tab. Why is there a discrepancy?
  11. Stuck on loading screen. Does not reach server selection. SWTOR installed via Steam.
  12. I apologize in advance if this has been asked and answered. Is Valor being removed in 7.2?
  13. If you have fully completed Galactic Season 2....BUT you do not have max reputation.....can you still get the Fen Zeil Outlaw Customization once you you get the reputation to max even after Galactic Seasons 2 is over? Again, Galactic Seasons 2 is finished through all levels...its just the reputation with the Shadow Syndicate that is not maxed out yet....
  14. Who are you to tell him what to post or not post? As you have said multiple times in many threads on this forum, if you don’t like it leave. Why do you keep commenting on these threads? I fully support his right and efforts to be heard and he can post 1000 more times if he wants to. It is obvious to me that there were many of us who did not speak up earlier, louder, or more often and the only side the developers heard was yours.
  15. Raansu and HaoZhao - Are you all in a raiding guild with Keith Kanneg or do you work at Bioware? It's just that you both are among the very few praising 7.0 in these forums.
  16. So, I got that idea seeing this concept art in SWTOR's Facebook post: https://www.facebook.com/starwarstheoldrepublic/posts/this-concept-art-of-manaan-shows-the-installation-to-extract-kolto-a-rare-medica/10158992845348860/ In addition, SWTOR previously made the mission "The Shroud of Memory" in which you play HK-55 and you end up underwater during that mission. Also think the fog and altered sound feeling Bioware created in the carbonite poisoning part of the beginning of Knights of the Fallen Empire always gave me that feeling of being underwater for some reason. Point is...when all these things are taken together, I thought it was a way they could expand the game and add something we have never had before. Sure, I realize any coding to allow you to swim up and down so you are not just walking across the bottom would be very difficult. But I even thought Bioware could create a barrier by having a Firaxan shark eat you if you went too far up. Anyway, Bioware did not bring anything new. This is just more of the same. Disappointing.
  17. I forgot to mention how the changes made the companions worthless for solo too. It's funny this week the galactic seasons has an objective where you kill 25 enemies without your companion. Hell, I am doing that already it feels like. So, I have decided to submit a Ticket to Customer Service every day complaining about the changes starting with the companion strength until these issues are fixed.
  18. I have been a continuous subscriber since February 26, 2012. I have been here through other changes to the game, but this is the first time I have ever really felt such disappointment with the direction the game has taken. I have played 7.0 for the past two weeks to see if my opinion would change, but I still feel disappointed by 7.0. For many years, I only had one character. Ten years later, I have 25 characters and had been playing a lot more frequently in the past couple of years to the point of logging in almost every day over the past year to play. So, I am not a new player. I am not a game hopper. I left World of Warcraft in 2012 and pretty much this is the only game I wanted to play or had time to play. Now, this game is no longer enjoyable. 7.0 was advertised as an expansion but how was this game expanded by 7.0? When 7.0 was announced, I made the mistake of thinking this “expansion” would finally allow our players to swim and fight underwater (actually in the water not on the ground in a bubble). Nope. In fact, there is nothing I can find in this game that makes the game larger or more extensive. SWTOR is continuing to use the same game mechanics it has always used. I used to log in every day to earn personal conquest on all 25 of my characters. I played a lot of different content to do it. The main point of conquest for my guild was to obtain flagship plans to completely unlock the guild starship. Never once did my small guild make it on conquest boards. That was not the point. We did not care about winning the conquest. We frankly have not cared about the perks that become available after unlocking the starship. Stupid as some may think, opening the starship was for decorating and for RP. We were so close. 7.0 is exhausting to play. It is not fun to run the same rotation over and over and over and over and over and over oh wait I just got shoved back twenty meters because I do not have an interrupt available and now I have slog back slowly while my companion gets hacked to pieces but I saved him only to continue my rotation over and over and over and over and over until they are finally dead only to move on to the next set of trash mobs. This. Is. Not. Fun. 7.0 was supposed to improve the game economy by reducing the credits that you get in game. How is that working for you? GTN prices seem to have tripled or worse. I am not an economist, but your actions do not seem to have the intended consequences. 7.0 end game gearing is overly complicated. I have played all types of content in this game: solo, heroics, unranked PvP, and veteran and master flashpoints, uprisings, and operations. I have very rarely participated in NimH operations and never participated in ranked PvP. I agree that NimH and ranked PvP should have the best gear in the game with the best stats and best set bonuses, but making the baseline gear green after running around for years in gold? If a new player is leveling and has gold gear leading up to 75 then goes back to only getting green gear…confusing. Also…the number of currencies? I know I am getting old, but didn’t you all simplify the number of currencies in a previous expansion because there were too many? The caps for some of these currencies are too low such as the Medal of Commendation. By the third day of each week, the Commendations are getting trashed for many characters as my account already hit the cap. So, do you only want us to play with one character? I mean the expansion really feels that way. I feel like I am wasting time playing my other characters. I hate playing those characters only to watch Medals of Commendations get trashed. It seems like a tremendous waste of my time and effort especially given the unnecessary and boring amount of time it takes to get through trash mobs now. Have I mentioned that this game is exhausting to play now? 7.0 has bugs you know…a lot of bugs… a lot more bugs than any expansion in the history of this game. But 7.0 did not fix some of the bugs that have been in this game for years. For example, in [HEROIC 2+] Chasing the Shadow, when you enter the terrace where the boss Kovic is waiting, if you are playing with just your companion, your companion will stop at the door and not come onto the terrace. If you make the mistake of immediately attacking Kovic, you will be fighting this battle without your companion. As a subscriber, I have always had rocket boost which I have used to get my companion back prior to attacking Kovic. I do not know what others (nonsubscribers) do in this situation. The bugs in 7.0 can be fixed but will they be fixed? Since there are other bugs that have been around for a very long time, I have doubts. I have a job. This was my escape from that job. I do not need a second job.
  19. With regards to the imperial-side of the Manaan story, I thought the idea of a conflict between an imperial army officer and a Sith was interesting but the writing for the different choices was insufficient to say the least. And I have one major problem during this part of the story... Team Bioware needed to spend a little more time thinking through their storylines....
  20. Disorder movie does not play when clicked from login screen "Play Cinematic" choice. Minor compared to other issues (please fix those first) but wanted you to know. Watched it on YouTube...
  21. That's interesting... you think there is nothing of actual value? Forbes wrote an article back in 2012 that virtual items have value and are purchased and sold by game players for real money in the real world. Bioware sells cartel coins for real money and you use cartel coins to purchase virtual items. You expend time and effort to obtain credits that you can then turn around and purchase the same virtual items on the GTN. Flagship plans sell for a lot of credits on the GTN, even more so now that it will be more difficult to obtain them in 7.0. For me the consideration is the time and effort I spend doing the tasks necessary to reach 50,000 on each character so come Tuesday, I get a Flagship Plans: Encryption on each character. The Guild Invasions tab indicates the items that each character will receive from a small yield should the guild as a whole reach their conquest level of 500,000. This is for the efforts expended this week. In exchange for virtual items, Bioware gets a busy server full of people doing similar tasks, hopefully enticing others to come play the game, and yes many of them paying a monthly fee in actual money. Both sides benefit. Now, I am sure you can pull out some rule in the EULA or Terms of Service that invalidates this as an actual enforceable contract. I am not arguing against you on that. I am merely saying that to me, my efforts have value and the virtual items have value to me and I am not the only one. Someone, maybe in this thread, was exasperated that their "Schematic: Crystal of Nightmare Fury" that they just spent all this time and effort obtaining was going to be converted to 100 credits in 7.0 Now could they go to a real court over their grievance? Oh hell no. Would I go over my frustrations, oh hell no. So, if you need to hear me say it, yes you are right that legally there is no enforceable contract here. But, do not discount the value that people place on the virtual items and on their own time and effort. If Bioware does this, they could find themselves losing monthly subscribers.
  22. Well so am I and I am happy to do the same. This has all the elements of a contract, granted it may not be enforceable as you say, but it would still be a contract. Question, do you actually read the EULA?
