I know the patch notes stated that only the gear added in 1.2 will have this. I would have liked to see this work for Tionese/Columi/Rakata/Centurion/Champion/Battlemaster due to the fact that there has already been a lot of time spent GETTING the gear that we already have. I have a Shadow and as has been put up in other threads, the Shadow gear sets look ridiculous...seriously, the pve hat looks like I am wearing a d*mned broom on my head. I would like to rip all the mods out and put them into gear that looks a bit more like I would LIKE to look. What is the point of making the armoring able to be taken out of pre-1.2 gear if you get no benefit for doing so? Now I can take the armoring mod out of new gear that looks like junk and look like I am wearing my old gear that looks like junk? Thanks! TLDR: Time has been spent getting pre-1.2 gear, please allow us to take the armoring mods out with the set bonuses so that we can look how we WANT to look!

Hey guys, I am looking for a good spec for PVE dps, what do yall recommend? I am currently 8/31/2 and while its really good on some fights, on others I feel like I am just not doing enough damage. So, what do you guys think?

Thank you for your reply, I havent tried a full Balance spec before, I could probably give that a shot. Mainly what I am looking for is some feedback from people as to what they found did best in pvp when they were at low gear levels after having just hit 50.

Ok, so I hit 50 like a week or so ago on my Shadow and I am running into a bit of issue with a few things. At the moment, I really dont do much PVE besides some questing with my wife who plays a Gunslinger; I would like to do more PVP. This is where I am running into problems, I have been lurking the forums for a bit now but I am still running into some questions, so any help would be much appreciated. 1) What is a good spec for just starting out in 50 PVP with gear that is still half green? 2) With the answer to question one, what would be the stats I would want to shoot for, what order, etc? I realize that the answers to these questions may be in the forum somewhere, but I am really having a hard time tracking it down. I have tried full Infil spec with upheaval and that did decent dmg but I fell apart if anyone looked at me, I am currently spec'd 31/0/10 and thats fine for tanking pve and for farming a couple of medals for guarding/mass mind control, but I do very little actual damage it seems. It is entirely possible, I am just doing something wrong, so again, any help would be highly appreciated!
