Gotta say, I'm actually enjoying the Jedi Knight storyline. It does feel like I'm the galaxy's repairman sometimes, fixing all the crap the Republic messes up - but, when I get to mess with planet-decimating superweapons and beat up many angry Sith, it's very worth it. The other reason I like it, being a male JK, is that your story is very entwined with your companion Kira's. Seeing how the story affects both of you is just awesome. I've played a Sith Warrior, a Trooper, an Inquisitor, and a Bounty Hunter, and an Imperial Agent (Haven't gotten far with the IA yet though) and so far the Knight storyline is my favorite for this reason. No other class's quests seem so tied with their companion. My Jedi is predominantly light side, with a hint of the dark side - mostly passion and romance stuff. I just don't have the heart to be a Dark Jedi lol.

Just beat the Sand Demon at 27 on my Watchman-specced Sentinel, without having trained Pacify or the other 27 skill-up. Took two tries. He isn't hard, mechanically, but he does hit like a truck. First try, I sent Kira in to let her get aggro, and then went in. Kira was basically dead instantly - her gear is mostly quest stuff. I basically kited the Sand Demon around after Kira died, but he finished me off with around 15% of his HP. Second try worked for me. I jumped in with Saber Ward up, got aggro and kited the demon around - as the demon followed me, Kira followed it, and thus didn't stand in the AoE too much. I hit Call on the Force as soon as ward dropped, and used Stasis. Popped Zen and stacked up my DoTs. Put up Saber Ward again, and just kept moving. Kira died when the demon had around a quarter life left. I was still in good shape. Put up Rebuke and kited the boss around - burned him down at the end with Master Strike and Blade Storm. I ended the fight with 20% or so HP, without using a medpack. My Sentinel is in almost all blue / orange stuff, so good gear - Kira was in almost all quest greens (a couple from Nar Shadda >.>) and an epic I got as a drop. Tough, but not un-doable. I'm not really lookin' forward to Angral though >.>

Thanks for the replies Yeah, I used a lot of gifts on her because the gift missions were faster than the other underworld missions I'm having a lot of fun with SWTOR, but I swear if I never see another rakghoul it'll be too soon >.< I killed enough of them in KOTOR. Hopefully during or after Nar Shaddaa I will get more conversations!

Hey folks. I wasn't entirely sure where to post this, so it's here in GD. I recently started playing SWTOR, and just got through Taris on my Jedi Knight (ugh, rakghouls). The companion I've been using as of late is Kira Carsen. I'm currently at level 20, and have around 3k affection with Kira. I haven't received any kind of dialogue from her basically since she joined me on Curoscant. Should I have had more conversations with her by this point? Are they based around level, or story? I've read that there is no 'romance' until after Act 1, which is around level 35 or so. Was just wondering if there were more conversations before that point.
