  1. Not hating on what you guys have said, but how did we get to a Revan vs. topic? Just a little bit of a redirect back to main topic. We could argue all day about how good Revan is and there is no winning on any side of the argument.
  2. I still think she should of taken the chance to kill him. And if it saved the galaxy from the attack later I am sure Revan would have tried to kill the Emperor. Sure saving Meetra would be good and all but Revan walked both sides and would see the importance of the chance. One life for millions.
  3. You know what kills me is that Meetra actually has a chance to kill the emperor and instead protects Revan. She even caught the emperor by surprise. So it would have been easy, she , Revan and scourge would have lived. That wouldn't have left the plot for swtor though, which I understand.
  4. *spoilers* I just finished the book "Revan" by Drew Karpyshan and I wondered what would of happened if Scourge hadn't interfered by killing Meetra in the end. Could they really have beaten the emperor? I know Scourge saw all these visions on the possibilities but was it really a 50/50 or did Revan and them stand a chance?
  5. I agree. It's sort of entertaining but it's not serious AT ALL. (which I understand was the point.) I feared this day would come.
  6. I believe that Qui-gon and Anakin would have made a more natural master and student relationship because their personalities were so alike. Qui-gon having almost gone to the dark side could have given tips on avoiding it.
  7. I agree that the guy had no idea about anything fully on Star Wars it was just the R2 one that I was interested in.
  8. Yeah I was watching the Robot chicken Star Wars and I absolutely agree. Dr. Ball: [Padme's death scene in Revenge of the Sith] She's "lost the will to live"? What is your degree in poetry? You sorry bunch of hippies! For God' sake, don't use the billions of dollars of medical equipment around us! Why don't we just get down on our knees and pray!?! Unlikely. Very unlikely.
  9. Here's a good one. Darth Vader: Leather.... Emperor Palpatine: Hear that, my boy gets the finest leather you got. Darth Vader: Full-body...black leather Emperor Palpatine: I see what you're going for, kind of an S&M thing Darth Vader: Oh...and a cape....yeah...a cape would be pretty wizard...and a sweet voice box...and flashing lights... Emperor Palpatine: Sure Darth Vader: Built-in helicopter blades.....Remote-control flying fists Emperor Palpatine: Can we just put this idiot under.
  10. Yes that would be cool. Some people have also said that being able to choose to remove companions would also be another possible addition. Like if your teammate just doesn't fit wit your style or opinion you could just boot him/her off the team. Or another cool thing, maybe give them the choice to leave if they don't agree with you.
  11. In Robot Chicken: Star Wars Ep. 3, Darth Vader uses wizard several times. But it's probably not what you meant.
  12. Oh yeah, sorry about that. anyway, I believe most people in star Wars know what R2 is saying. Anyone with the least amount of tech ability in Star Wars seems to know what he is saying, so he wouldn't need a translator.
  13. Yes but at the end of ep. III I remember Obi-wan telling a soldier to wipe both C-3PO's and R2-D2's memories, so wouldn't that clear any codes on him?
  14. They obviously did if they had turrets on the surface attacking Luke when he went in. I am sure that those little turrets couldn't do much else than protect the station.
  15. Also here are 2 more good questions. "By the end of III Obi-Wan looks to be around 35 years old. At the beginning of IV, he looks to be in his mid to late 60’s. Owen and Beru both appear to be in their early to mid 20’s at the end of III but about the same age as Obi-Wan, 60-ish, by IV. Considering the fact that only 19 years pass, how did they all get so old?" "Why does Obi-Wan never remember owning a droid when he clearly owned several R2 units (including R4) and furthermore, why does he not recall R2. One interesting note, in thinking about it, not once in the prequels does Obi-Wan come in contact with Threepeo. The closest they come to seeing each other is in Padme’s apartment on Coruscant in ROTS but Threepeo does not enter the balcony room until after Obi-Wan departs. On Mustafar, we never see them together though it’s hard to imagine Obi-Wan escaped with Padme and both droids without ever seeing them." http://forums.sciflicks.com/showthread.php?t=15200
  16. Also what seems unlikely is that they would leave the hole that would destroy the Death Star absolutely unprotected. I am sure someone would have noticed that could be a problem. To spend all that time and money on a weapon to be destroyed by a well placed shot. Major design flaw.
  17. Doesn't mean that he could just get through any security that is on it. I mean really. The Death Star. One of the most advanced installation in it's time and an old astromech droid could just get in and do whatever he wanted. Not likely.
  18. I didn't say I agreed with everything on the article. Just what I quoted.
  19. I was reading an article and this got me. "Every computer is a friendly computer – It is awfully convenient how, whenever he needs to, R2-D2 can just plug right into any computer system and access all sorts of information. They waltz into that first room on the Death Star, and Artoo is able to pull up diagrams showing where the tractor beam controls are, that Princess Leia is on the station, and where she is. Later on, he’s able to shut down the trash compactors at a moment’s notice. It sure is nice that the incredibly-paranoid Empire didn’t put any safeguards on their computer systems, so that anyone with an astromech droid can come in and get tons of sensitive information. Artoo does the same thing other places, too, and never runs into any real problems except in Jedi when he mistakes a power port for an interface port. I realize that C3PO says something about some information being restricted, but it’s hard to believe when you look at the info Artoo was able to find." http://www.wired.com/geekdad/2009/10/top-10-unanswered-questions-in-geeky-movies-ii-the-sequel/ I actually sort of agree with this one, it seems quite unlikely.
  20. Well it is mostly believed that the show is canon because it is right below G-canon (original trilogy) and above C-canon (books, EU and such.) explained here: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Canon So what happens in the episodes is considered as canon.
  21. I have been going around the last couple of days and I have noticed that a lot of people have problems with the camera angle changing, which should be fixed in the new update, but I have also seen a lot of people wanting more customization on their ship. It's not like every Jedi is going to have the exact same ship. As you progress things change. maybe not a dramatic change like changing the outside which could be difficult, but maybe a little inside customization. The Millennium falcon went through numerous changes in it's life...so why can't ours?
  22. Actually technically he lived. Very unbelievable but yes he "lived". (If you count on only having half of a body.) He had the will to live and escaped by going into a vent during his fall. He made it off the planet but as only a shell of who he was. And the fact he could survive this and any one else cast down a vent couldn't (Sideous) is absolutely unbelievable. But hen again even if Sideous did survive the death Star explosion would certainly kill him.
  23. Honestly you can't compare the two cause we have yet to see ME3 and what new tech and weapons the reapers will bring into play.
  24. The Jedi got in a political trap. That's all. They stayed as defenders but got mixed in with the republic. They forgot to keep themselves distant enough so they wouldn't be related to the Republic.
