This is an amazingly easy fix, the others you noted are more in depth and necessitate review.
This does not.
You say that like it's going to have any sort of influence on where it ranks (or hell, whether or not it even DOES rank) as a priority.

Just about everything there is to say has already been said, so...
BRB, re-speccing my tank characters to DPSers just to tweak the OP.
-
Well, when I did that last mission on my mostly-LS Vanguard,
I just finished off the general when I had the chance, and never got a single DS point for it. Yay, violence!

On my BH:
(paraphrased from memory, forget the exact line)
Blizz: Blizz make headband for boss, keep boss hair from getting in face!
Pyrojack: Blizz, it's very nice, and I appreciate the time and care you obviously put into it, but, uh, as you may have seen... I don't HAVE any hair!
Mako: Hey, I told you, I checked the label on that medpac I gave you, it never said anything about causing hair loss in humans!
That's about all I've got atm

Well, they just announced another maintenance downtime for tomorrow, so maybe they'll fix it then.
And while I'm dreaming, I'd like a huge duffel bag full of money that doesn't belong to anybody to fall from the skies and land right next to me.

The initial "breadcrumb" quest on the fleet is 25 for some odd reason, but the Nar Shaddaa Bonus Series itself, as well as the quests and mobs, are all around 31-32
EDIT: And to your second question: Yes, the guy who starts the Tatooine Bonus Series is at the spaceport like normal

Well, while you're leveling you'll lose out on the various relics (as they have increasing Light / Dark tier requirements) - none of the various endgame relics have any alignment restrictions on them though. There's also a few moddable armor pieces you can buy off the fleet's Light Side or Dark Side vendors, but really, that's about it

I made my Vanguard a Type 1, just for the inherent hilarity of having that little stick figure truck around in heavy armor and tank stuff.
-
Very nice indeed, and much appreciated!

Honestly, speaking as someone who's tried out both, I personally don't think either of them is worth the over-inflated price tag.
-
You and Master Yuon? That's not an image I needed.
(come on, how did that line not come to anyone else's mind?)
-
Not to me, but he has repeatedly mentioned that they never suspect the scientist.

^ I lol'd

Personally, having leveled both (and doing Guardian first), I prefer the Shadow, but it does have a steeper learning curve than the Guard.
And, to gratuitously repeat a (entirely accurate ) cliche:
Bad Guardian tanks get the party killed, bad Shadow tanks get themselves killed.
-
Yes, and I've gotten the opposite problem a few times as well
Trying to tank Red Reaper as a Level 43 or 44 was... rather trying, to say the least, though the group was surprisingly ok with it

I leveled as full healer. It is tough until you get Ashara. She is quite honestly a better tank/threat holder then Khem. If you gear her up, she'll do enough melee dps to maintain threat, while you sit back and keep her upright and mix in some dot damage.
I find the tanks we get are terrible, not enough damage output to be worth keeping upright.
I haven't leveled my Sorc as heals, but I HAVE leveled a Scoundrel as healer, and this has been pretty much my experience as well - once I unlocked and started using a DPS companion, my net survivability stayed about the same, but my kill speed went up immensely. And as for threat, I found that all the mobs that weren't being actively focused on by my tank companion would make a beeline for me as soon as I started throwing out heals and the AoE taunt wore off anyway.
-
Ultimately it comes down to playing what you enjoy...good luck.
I have absolutely nothing to add except "What he said"
-
My replies in blue. Not a tanking god like Kitru or KeyboardNinja, but throwing in what I can here
I just do PvE. Dose this make Kinetic ward useful? No. This makes Kinetic Ward MANDATORY.
And if so dose going for a armor with max shielding stat more useful?
More Shield is always good, but you also want generous amounts of Defense and Absorb - particularly the latter
Another question is that if i get upheaval and it activates sending 2 rocks at a target dose this count as 1 or 2 points to Harness shadows
Just one, sadly. But that won't stop it from eating two charges of Force Potency if you have it active

Good luck, this one's been a major problem with Underworld Trading for about as long as the game's been live.

If you don't like the smuggler story, play a different story. And leave the smugglers to their happy, merry smuggling ways, without you.
Edited to add: my bounty hunter had to steal a ship. I keep asking, throughout her story, why I can't steal another, nicer ship. Like an agent's ships. Those things are sweet. Instead, I'm stuck with the clunker.
I can think of quite a few things I don't particularly like about the smuggler story (still a good one though), but the opening is not one of them, so I'm going to just say "^ What he(?) said." And ESPECIALLY agreed on the Bounty Hunter ship.

Well, from experience, using any companion other then the healer gives a downtime, you just wouldn't have with a healer, unless facing an elite, i have no idea how people manage to level up as a dps with a tank or dps companion and not have issues.
I am sure the tank companions are fine when they are top notch gear, but ever since bioware insanely removed their armor bonus from their tank stance, you might as well just have then in dps mode, since they die like dps companions. lol
Haven't leveled up my Sniper enough to have any companions besides Kaliyo (who I can't effing stand, mainly cause I take a hit to approval every time I pass up an opportunity to act like a complete Richard), but ^ this has pretty much been my experience with my other characters.
I'm sorry, but when the "tank" companions average around 25% damage reduction with on-level armor (in other words, roughly the same as my own squishy tail), there's really no good reason not to just take a slightly squishier DPS companion and kill mobs faster, or take the healer companion and just tank the mobs yourself (which you probably will with a tank companion anyway, since they suck at keeping threat as bad as they do at surviving).
So me, I'll probably be fulltiming Lokin once I get him, or bringing out Vector or Temple when I have a friend along to cover heals.

(as a tank-specced Shadow) Armor is for people who are too slow to dodge.

EA.
>end of line
^ What he said.
Got Xalek... why use any other companion again?
