  1. Hello there, I never imagined I'd be someone to create a thread like this on the forums. But amazingly here we are. I wanted to talk about the skipping of mobs in Flashpoints (and Operations etc). Why is it now almost always the default choice to skip every single mob that can be skipped instead of just taking them on? Even when it is by the most ridiculous methods that barely gains anyone any time or in some cases ironically the group tends to even lose time with it? And when the group whipes it can sometimes create quite the predicament as well on the way back. This behaviour that is now so common among the SWTOR playerbase has completely ruined the entire experience for me. Especially when someone aggro's a skippable mob, by accident or not, there is almost always someone who complains about it. Why? Why even bother playing the game if you're so determined on skipping everything? Trying to rush through everything in as little time as possible to collect the rewards seems like a poor way to actually enjoy the game. I've played the game more or less since its launch and back then this was not a thing as far as I can remember. At least not with the same magnitude of today. To see the state of things now is just frustrating for me and takes away my incentive to start up the game. Because I know when I'm doing any group content whatsoever this almost always occurs. Best wishes to everyone for the new year. May the Force be with you.
  2. Hello there, I'd like to suggest that the ambient electrical/welding noises, which you can hear when you're on your Guild Flagship, should be removed. At least this is the case on the Republic side, haven't checked it out on the Imperial side yet. I am not entirely sure but I think this was added with the 6.0 Expansion, as I don't think I've ever noticed those noises before. It would be great if these could be removed as they are, to me at least, quite annoying. Thank you and take care.
  3. Hello there, With the 6.0 Expansion this issue is now also occuring for the following companions: Interestingly however for companion Raina Temple the "Not eligible for this conversation" message does not appear when you right click on her and she is interacting/saying a phrase as normal. As stated before this is something minor, but it would be nice if this could be remedied. Thank you!
  4. Hello there, I noticed that since the 6.0 Release (I believe) this issue was fixed by replacing the "Suppressing Fire" ability with the "Thermal Grenade" ability. And I just wanted to say thank you!
  5. Hello, I'd like to make the suggestion to provide an additional setting somewhere under the Preferences window where players can set how talkative they'd like their companions to be in combat. At the moment some characters are extremily talkative, like Nico Okarr for instance who says a phrase almost every time an enemy is taken down. (For example "Nothing personal." or "Sometimes I impress myself.") Other characters hardly ever say a phrase like that, which to me is a real shame because I for instance really liked hearing Felix Iresso say "Did you see that shot? Tell me you saw that.". Others on the other hand might find it irritating to hear companions speak to frequently. So I'd like to suggest a setting where people can set the frequency of the times a companion speaks in combat. A setting with the following options for instance: Ultra : Speaks every time an enemy is taken down. High : Speaks once during every engagement (when last enemy of the group is taken down for instance). Medium : Speaking is limited to once every 5 minutes. Low : Speaking is limited to once every 15 minutes. Off : Companions do not speak at all. Would be great if this could be implemented. Kind regards.
  6. Hello there, This minor issue concerning Elara Dorne as your active companion and not being able to interact with her (right mouse click) still exists in the game. When you right mouse click on her a red error message pops up saying "Not eligible for this conversation." I'm guessing this problem exists for all classes (I have this problem on my Consular, Sage) except the Trooper class, since she originally was a Trooper class companion. Something minor, however it would be great if this could be remedied. Thank you!
  7. Hello, This issue regarding the companion ability "Suppressing Fire" remains in the game. It would be great if this could be remedied.
  8. Hello, A minor issue that I noticed is that when I play with my Jedi Consular (Sage) I am unable to right click on Elara Dorne when she is my active companion to interact with her and let her say a phrase. When I right click, the following red error message is shown: "Not eligible for this conversation". Possibly this is the case for other classes as well who acquire her as a companion after the Iokath storyline, except for the Trooper I assume. Something minor but it would be nice if this could be remedied. Kind regards.
  9. Hello, it has come to my attention that the ability "Suppressing Fire" of companions with a single blaster pistol in DPS stance does not visually show anything on screen nor is any sound being played when it's used. The damage is being done, but you cannot see or hear any blaster shots being fired. I have had this issue with Tharan Cedrax, Elara Dorne and "Deadeye" Leyta. I'm pretty sure it'll be an issue for all companions with a blaster pistol that have this ability. I tried different graphics presets (Very Low, Medium, Ultra) to see if that made any difference, but it seems that isn't the case. It would be great if this could be remedied. Kind regards.
  10. Hello, Another reason and suggestion I thought of today, for making the missions of the planetary Bonus Series repeatable after you completed the Bonus Series as a whole (and then rename them to Support Missions, see post above this one), is to provide an additional way of gaining influence with your companions. By some of the conversation options or a static amount upon completion of these missions. Kind regards.
  11. By "weeklies" I actually meant overarching Daily missions. In the same way that you have these for the planetary Heroic missions, for instance "Complete 0/4 Heroics on Coruscant". However it then might be usefull to rename the planetary Daily missions to something else to help the terminology, let's say: Support missions. So you would have for instance these kind of Daily missions added to the Planetary Missions part of the Galactic Command window: [Daily] Complete 0/3 Support missions on Taris [Daily] Complete 0/3 Support missions on Balmorra etc.
  12. Hello, I would really like to see the Daily missions returned that used to be available (pre-4.0 I think) on Ilum and Belsavis (Bonus Series) since I really enjoyed doing those. In fact I would suggest to maybe expand the Belsavis idea of transforming some missions of the Bonus Series (or all of them) into Daily missions once you completed the Bonus Series for the planets: Taris, Nar Shaddaa, Tatooine, Alderaan, Balmorra, Hoth, Belsavis, Voss. Building on this it might be nice to add corresponding weeklies to these daily missions for each planet. These weeklies could then also be added in the Planetary Missions part of the Galactic Command window, referring to another suggestion which you can find here: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=911586 If this topic is a duplicate of a previously posted one, I do apoligize. I used the search functionality the best I could. Kind regards.
  13. I would like to give my support to this suggestion.
  14. Hello, I would very much like to see the return of the possibility to gather set bonus pieces by doing hard mode flashpoints. Practically like the situation when the Tionese, Columi and Rakata gear was around at the start of this game. These set bonus pieces would be down rating wise compared with the current set bonus pieces you're able to gather through story mode operations. Or in other words the possibility of gathering 208 set bonus pieces and other unassembled items (earpiece, implants, relics, offhand and mainhand) through hard mode flashpoints. How it would be determined which flashpoint would drop which kind of unassembled token I don't have a particular idea about as of yet. I kinda liked the previous system when the unassembled tokens were found at specific final bosses from specific flashpoints (same system which is used by operations). For instance, if I remember correctly, Darth Malgus would drop an unassembled Columi chest piece at the end of The False Emperor flashpoint. So in short my suggestion would be the following: Each final boss of a hard mode flashpoint drops an unassembled token with Rating 208. If this topic is a duplicate of a previously posted one, I do apoligize. I used the search functionality the best I could. Kind regards.
