    REPORT POST QUOTE

First off, Happy New Years everyone! I apologize if you feel a lack of communication around this issue. Unfortunately, I haven't provided much since I do not have a status update as of yet.

Here is what I can tell you. We definitely have not forgotten about this and the team is still assessing what the cause is, and how we can begin to address it. What I am going to do is to work with the team to get a status update with as much detail as I can, by next Friday (although hopefully before then!).

Thank you again for your continued patience. We know that dealing with these issues isn't the best experience and we will get them addressed as soon as we can!

He could at least apologize for the lack of communication, as there is precedent for that.

  2. Pot, meet kettle.

For all your ranting, you've seem to forgotten that YOUR view intrudes on other players fun. Some people enjoy crafting and doing their best to earn credits in a video game and find your idea of clicking a slot machine to earn mats to be wrong.

There was no "mini-game". There was "click repeatedly to earn mats and credits". What you call "fun" is tedious monotony to others.

It's hard to take someone serious when they are using the term "crybabies" while exhibiting that same behavior themselves.

See this is the kind of attitude i don't get. The whole click a button repeatedly to get mats argument. Aren't you doing the exact same thing by sending out companions? All you are doing is pointing and clicking. Granted there is some waiting involved, but all the people who say this is a viable way to get mats have multiple alts that they continually switch between and point and click. How about the people who don't want to level umpteen alts just to gather and craft? Shouldn't they have a way to gather enough mats to augment their character? And sending out companions is just as much a gambling mini-game as slot machine is, Lord knows how many credits i've lost due to failed missions.

  3. The sheer number of posts about the changes to the slot machine reminds me of the great controversy over the Spymaster, Phantom etc. armor debacle that came with the Crime Lord's cartel pack.
  4. I'd like my jedi and sith to have blaster pistols. Not to use them, in game or in cutscenes, but simply to have them, even if it's simply to remain holstered on the belt in perpetuity. We saw Luke use a rifle in the first movie (Episode IV), and a pistol would not have looked out of place in that black outfit he wore, even if he never employed it, so I don't think I'm being unreasonable.

    Like this?

  5. Maybe something similar to this (only with crystals instead of swords):

"can you make sword in box light sword so sword come out when opened? then if sword is back after sword, use light saber on box, and saber will be boxed after sword is out."

Long live Battlebug (for those who remember). :)

Really curious to finally step into my stronghold. Wouldn't mind having a crystal collection in it.

Dear lord that was a funny thread. Does it still exist?

  6. I assume they're probably working on new content or features that would help to both retain and draw in subscribers.

    This isn't exactly either.

I for one never knew anyone who stopped playing the game because of this limit.

New content (like the rumored new planet) and the guild planetary quests means more missions.

  7. Stormtroopers (in German Sturmtruppen; the term "thrust troops", Stoßtruppen was also used) were specialist soldiers of the German Army in World War I. In the last years of the war, Stoßtruppen were trained to fight with "infiltration tactics", part of the Germans' new method of attack on enemy trenches. Men trained in these methods were known in Germany as Sturmmann (literally "storm man" but usually translated as "stormtrooper"), formed into companies of Sturmtruppen ("assault troops", more often and less exactly "storm troops"). The infiltration tactics of the stormtroopers are still in use today, in one form or another. Other armies have also used the term "assault troops", "shock troops" or fireteams for specialist soldiers who perform the infiltration tasks of stormtroopers.

The Canadian Expeditionary Force was the designation of the field force created by Canada for service overseas in the First World War. The force fielded several combat formations in France and Flanders, the largest of which was the Canadian Corps, consisting of four divisions. The Canadian Cavalry Brigade and the Canadian Independent Force, which were independent of the Canadian Corps, also fought on the Western Front. The CEF also had a large reserve and training organization in England, and a recruiting organization in Canada. In the later stages of the European war, particularly after their success at Vimy Ridge and Passchendaele, the Canadian Corps was regarded by friend and foe alike as the most effective Allied military formation on the Western Front.[1] The Germans went so far as to call them "storm troopers"[2] for their great combat efficiency. In August 1918, the CEF organized the Canadian Siberian Expeditionary Force, which reinforced the anti-Bolshevik garrison in Vladivostok during the winter of 1918–19.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_Expeditionary_Force

  8. There are quite a lot of references to Nazi history. The term "stormtrooper", the rise of Palpatine to power mirrors Hitler's. The colors used for Empire are red black and white, the same as the Nazi flag. It is all quite interesting.

Actually "stormtroopers" were a term the German's used to describe Canadian troops in World War I
