  1. well, right now, they're only death matching, the ball pick-up area is so big and open, you'd need a good healer/tank situation to get the ball away from mid. This hasn't even happened this far, ppl die left and right and get pulled away for death matching on the side. This is probably huge amounts of fun if you're in premade groups up against each other.. but then again, all maps are more fun that way. i was very excited about this map, but it's not being played right.
  2. Teammates making mistakes, and owning up to it.. i can count on two hands after hundreds of games. But the latest trend of not caring about wins- puts my teeth on edge. I call them out on playing like sheep, only following each other up to some corner of the map where they go 5v1 and let themselves be trolled for minutes. The reply is always some sort of "who cares+ (add stupid stuff here their moms wont let them say at home so they put it all over internet instead) i've never left games before, for years... but this crap isn't fun. joining group content only to play like morons and hand over the win. please help to break this trend! people who don't want to win, who don't care, they shouldn't want to join.
  3. I've had no issues on any char, healer, ranged or melee dps. o.O If you're knocked away, you're easily pulled up since there is nothing in the way of los once you're at the bottom. A healer who pays attention should pull you up instantly. And it's not tricky to get back up if you can jump, phase walk or even just run. In the other arenas, if you're knocked off, there's a bunch of los in different places,so you can either get killed on your way, or your entire team is scattered down and up or dead by the time you get back. In this arena it's pretty clear you're supposed to stay away from the edges and watch yourself, pay more attention to white bars etc. It requires a faster pace and I really like that this arena is different from the others and not just a reskin. (although it reminds me of the arena in dalaran sewers ) That said, sniper knock back is too powerful. imo, in any situation.
  4. I agree with this, and the whole subject. PvP is dying, the people who actually enjoy playing the objectives and care about winning are dropping their subs. If ever there was a time to help revive the pvp community, it's.. (some month ago) but failing that, now is also good
  5. They enter a queue with random people, and end up with random peolpe with random skills and gear. If their standards are "higher" than mine, they shouldn't enter a random queuing system, as this is what you get. Since your reply isn't very detailed, it's hard to know exactly what you mean. But like I said, if somebody has the bad luck of ending up in a gorup who they think has no chance in hell, they can leave in the start of the match. Idk, the way this forum post is going, with the mentality of leaving- i've gone away from the game entirely. I don't understand the point in just having easy wins and leaving the hard games. Leave amongst yourselves. o/
  6. ...you haven't seen.. real.. penalty... *reaches for the ball gag, peppermint tea and the ironing board.. which is big, and heavy, and you can really hurt your fingers in the locking mechanism*
  7. I get what you're saying. But I would still prefer some kind of reaction to the leaving. Any kind of penalty, small, but still pain enough for a person to think twice before leaving the warzone. That in itself would make people also want to know how to play objectives as well, in order to win. This cruising from game to game to find one that stand 3-1 to your favor and then leave if the score changes 3-2.. It's a snowballing action as it is right now. The ones who join, also leave, when they see 1-0 score, or half a team missing. By the time the team has sort of stabilized., the enemy team has had ample opportunity to gather tons of points or scored or whatever. The one who sticks around have gone through 10 different teams before the match is through and could hardly get out of spawn because they're the only one outside of the spawning area, facing the whole enemy team by themselves. This happens, often! Something has to change. I'm sure that more than one thing would help on this, but penalty is one definate thing. *brings out the ruler*
  8. Oh yes, I never meant anything but a timer debuff, like in WoW, so you can't join queue again for a while. Pop in game to game to check which one you win without effort. This is different. You will, hopefully, leave within 2 secs of checking out your team and then leave, giving them a chance to get new people in before the game starts. Of course, real life can intervene. But you would only get a timer debuff, and that wouldn't affect you anyway, since you're off, you know, having a baby, bailing your grandma out of jail or massive diarrhea because aparently there was lactose in the vegan cookies you just tried for the first time. (-.-) But yeah, the timer goes off while you're attending your RL stuff and be gone when you can q again.

The Red Eclipse (repside) had more wz pops than The Prog before the merge, so we were inclined to check it out for more pvp.. but I couldn't stand it because as soon as a pylon was taken by enemy team, or they scored first in huttball, or even, got the ball first, took two bases in novare coast.- people would leave. People like this should just cheat in monopoly against 5 yr olds and leave warzones alone. But that's not going to happen, so I really think it's time.. a few years ago, to put a debuff on leavers. before, we needed all players we could possibly get, and somehow, they stuck around for the whole match. Probably because back then it would take many minutes until another match would pop anyway. Edit: Example, I was just in a huttball match. After enemy team got the first ball (not scoredyet, mind you) we had 3 leavers. After the score, 2 more.. and so as the new ones come in, they see how we're all over the map getting killed as a result- THEY also leave, and so on. It's ridiculous.

  11. I purchased the Manaan Stronghold. Took down all decos in all my rooms in my old SH. But I can't move in to Manaan until this is fixed. Having to load warzones PLUS intro movie, is too much. I'll be on fleet

In the grand scheme of things? lol, imagine that reply when you go back with a toaster to the store when it doesnt work. if that's our view, we might as well not have forums. like -I don't think that this is an issue, so you shouldn't either.. ehh? then yes, i agree as well, in the grand scheme of things, with war, womens rights, cancer in children and ops bosses that bug out and take hours to take down, then my issue is VERY small and shouldnt be adressed. *sob* i thought us players would stick together. remember, the man? fight the man!!!
  13. Too bad I'm not you Sounds chill. But this bothers me, as I pay for stuff that doesn't work properly, and others with me. This in itself wont have me stop playing, but it doesn't stop me from having an opinion.
  14. I feel like it's clear as day, the command boost for PvP should have been charge based. Buy 10 charges that are used once every game. What happens right now, with the enormously stupid "fix" - that you can't click away your boost (i mean ***, in what game have this been such a problem?) You lose out SO much more boost time, and play time, by having to wait out your boost before you can queue. For example, you have 4 mins left on your boost, but the warzone that MIGHT pop - will take 10 mins ish. So by the time we get the big pay out from the warzone, the boost is off! And oh, you can't use a new one, because CAN'T click the command boosts inside a warzone. .... what??? seriously? And having a boost on when the queue time can get up to 10 mins between pops, this thing really isn't worth the cartel coins, or the one for command points. It's a big amount, if you play all your alts, -the alts -that the game has been encouraging you to get! All this stupidity on top of the damn things bugging and ticking away when we're offline is just too much, BW, you have to take care of your pvpers too sometime. I wish we could make everyone stop buying the boosts in protest. But, as in outside the gameworld, we all have different budgets, and richer players will just keep buying the boosts and voila, we have Pay to Win in this game too. I was angry about this, about a month ago, now I'm sad, because it is such good pvp, and although we have the same stuff over and over and over, it's still good. I really wish BW would take better care of the pvp community, we really don't need much.

So, when you're defending in Voidstar, it's been pretty handy to be able to target your friendly player who guards the door, in order to see if they are getting attacked and can't call for help. After the minimap player icon fix, the door now hides the players instead, so I can't see who is by the door, on the minimap or on regular map. Again, this would have been pretty clear to anyone who had tried a pvp match after the minimap fix, but again, it seems nobody did! http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o577/Sofie_Goldfine/argh_zpsqpmhwjsd.jpg This is also the case in other warzones, the node icons hide people! In PvP you don't have time to fish around with your cursor to try and find out who the hell is at the nodes. Come on! Please, fix teh fix of the fix that didnt need fixin in the first place.
  16. I do not agree with OP. It is pretty much equal chances of wins and losses and also getting balanced teams and balanced games. The stomping does happen, but that happens on the other servers too and it's from both sides. Lately I've come to play on impside early in the evening to then swap to repside at night it isn't a perfect recipe, but I don't mind losing that much when the games are entertaining and we all play to win, instead of pretty number scores. PvP on prog does live!
  17. Can you tell us how you see when nodes change colour and things that get covered up? because if it's something we can fix ourselves, i'd very much like to know. The colour purple isnt the source for the discontent here
  18. I agree, but with even more rage. This ruins the game for me completely and I do not understand how this went through any testing. What the actual F. Can't see which door got the bomb in voidstar. We ran over to each others sides and got in each others way on the minimap, such a joke. Can't see how many of my "very easily locatable friends" are in one spot, if they're too close together, in a bunker for example. I don't do anything but pvp in swtor, and now I wont do that either until this is fixed.
