  1. My Artifice Telosan on the Pub side can make Quick Savant 30 My alt on the Imp side is Telopoke.
  2. As others have mentioned, I am concerned about the caps on the number of comms. I do not want to lose any and would rather spend some than get them cut. Is there any way we can get some confirmation as to what the caps might be? Or will all transfer no matter what? Thanks
  3. Of those 15-20 hours, how much would you say the proper amount of grinding is? Would you say that I should now be spending 75% of my time grinding credits? Either way, it pushes players into grinds. The latest patch is just about grinding -- grinding Rep, grinding creds...grinding PvP. Lovely. Not. What. I. Signed. Up. For.
  4. I spent over 150k last night in repair bills. I am a fairly new tank in our HM EC progression group, but this is seriously way too expensive. Again, this is a change that BioWare made without considering the impact on the community. I feel that it will seriously hamper anyone except the guild that already have this content on farm. TFB at least normally covers repair costs, so that we can go in, learn something from the fights, and not get too upset if we wipe. This seriously takes the fun out of the game. If we have to get uptight about repair expenses, then we have to limit runs to the top tier players. This completely excludes the more casual players. Our guild is very laid back. We typically take 6 or 7 of our core group, and 1 or 2 of the players that do not have as much time or experience. This adversely affects our more casual players who do not have as much time to grind credits. I am not 100% sure about the rest of our group, but I am guessing that it is about 100k each, minimum. A run of HM EC with some newer members/roles/strat cost us a combined 1 Million credits. Even with 20 million in our guild bank, we could not sustain this pace. Especially since the credit drops of HM EC are extremely low. The mini-boss before the Tanks dropped 350 credits. Seriously?? Is Bioware deliberately trying to crush the casual player? I know for a fact that we are gong to lose people from our raid groups because of this increased death penalty. It will also, consciously or not, impact the desire and ability of the senior players to help the newer players. Why would I want to PUG a HM FM or SM Op if I am going to be stuck with a 100-150k bill? We have people that normally are happy to teach a new tank LI HM, or let someone try tanking HM EC for the first time (after SM EC, of course). Speaking for a guild with 50+ active members, with 15-20 on a given night, I know that this going to affect our game play. Normally, if a MMORPG makes a significant gameplay change, especially when changing the cost of things, there is some sort of trade-off to help lessen the impact. I understand if a Space Mission is giving "too many credits", or fixing a bug on a limited number of items, but increasing the repair costs across the board, without providing any kind of balance, does not seem to be something that is going to benefit the players. If this was indeed a fix to a bug, was it tested? Did you run the numbers to see how much money it would remove from the economy? Did you adjust rewards from harder content (that will probably result in higher repair costs inherently)? If someone from BioWare could provide some rationale behind this, it would be much appreciated. As of now, it just seems like you are penalizing the players for no good reason. My two cents.
  5. I just wanted to chime in here. As a frequent user of the GTN, this is making my interaction with the GTN very frustrating. Before, when I wanted to price a specific item, I could search for "adept 26" or "adept 27" and see all of the other listings for that ONE item. This allowed me to quickly price items and get on with my gaming. Now, I have to potentially scroll through several pages -- even after limiting my search to purple items of level 50. I would rather not have to set the filter for Enhancements, Mods, Armorings, etc, as I post all of my items from one toon, no matter which one crafted it. Answer me this, how can returning MORE search results (by forcing my search to be overly broad) actually IMPROVE performance? Does it improve the query time? But at what cost? Sending me more data, which causes me to click through each page, which in turn makes it take me longer to post, which increases my time at an already crowded place. PROS: Supposedly increases performance CONS: Increases my posting time Increases the time that I have to stand around the GTN Increases the time my customers have to stand around the GTN Increased data traffic Decreased client side performance (before, I could get my search results on one page. Now I have to click through several pages, more than once, because I ALWAYS re-query after posting.....because of the time that I sold a 27 armoring for 100k, and also to see where my items fall in with other crafters) BioWare, Please revert this change. I am already pressed for time now that repair costs have sky-rocketed (I will probably be making another post on that debacle....it makes me cringe when I use the Group Finder. Before, helping out people that were not as geared or experienced was fun. Now, death is very painful, and I am also losing income that I normally made on the GTN. Also, since a lot of people are spending a lot more on repairs, my sales have dropped--although it is too soon to tell for sure) Also, please, please, please put these changes on the test server. Let us copy characters over and test. Even if these changes had been made to the test server, and made available, my character(s) on the test server are so old and under-geared, that I would be hard pressed to actually accomplish anything.
