Partnering up with a friend, we're both going to be making new chars and plan on doing all flash points, was wondering what combination of classes would be the best duo for flashpoints, heroics, etc..

Making a guardian today, hopefully it's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be.

So based off the information I gathered on this board the Vanguard seems like the more complete better tank verse the Guardian, and based off a few responses guardians don't start to shine till late in the game although I won't ever be solo I don't think that would be to much of a problem, however the Guardian would have better synergy with the sage via crew kills & and both are jedi classes.

are guardians really that bad that people make them out to be?

Going to be playing the whole game through with a friend including flash points and heroics, they're making a sage and I'll be making a tank just haven't decided which tank to make yet. Can't make a shadow since it has the same quest line, not a fan of doing the same quest two times in a row.
