OP has been playing this game since BETA I think?, myself soon after the game launched. We've played every class since then. We along with many others have seen the power of balance shift many times. He's right, the ranged meta has been getting annoying lately. In fact, after every major patch there is a huge shift in balance somewhere, and it grows tiresome each time knowing that they can't grasp the idea of balancing their game, and that it takes many MONTHS to fix something, only to break something else. I've been playing this game since launch, 90% of my time pvping when I get on. Throughout the years dozens and dozens of threads claiming hacks have turned up, I have only seen one where the OP actually showed video evidence. It was an obvious speed hack, happened probably 2 years ago. Instead of whining about nothing being done, show some video evidence. There are a bunch of free programs you can download, and with one click of a button, you can record your evidence of "hacks". In all likeliness it's not a hack, but a simple mechanic you are not aware of. Edit: I personally have never seen anything that would call hacks, a handful of glitches/exploits though.

You could click on their character directly. A nice trick if you insist on tabbing (to next enemy) is to center your camera on the target, and it will go to them. As a solo mara you shouldn't be in the middle of everything, work around the edges of groups and pick off weaker classes, whether it's class squishyness (mercs, sorc without barrier up, etc) or really anything that you know is low on defensive cooldowns.

My eyes are bleeding. You jumped down without any cooldowns and entered the 1st fight with about 60% hp, the 2nd one, same thing but around 77% hp, both times running straight in the middle of everyone and their aoes. You are zoomed in too far to have any real situational awareness, you seem to be furiously clicking and spamming abilities without any precision or flow with them, and using abilities you shouldn't be while in that spec (smash). You are trying to use gore on massacres while your devastating blast and vicious throw procs will be up. You spam tab target anyone around you, while keyboard turning and jumping randomly. :rak_03:

My point is that a lot of people in here (including the OP) think they are seeing a tank land a 28k hit. Pretty rare but it can happen, sure. But the point of this thread was to point out a specific player hitting a 28k as a tank, which isn't the case, so...

Actually, in the past couple of days queues have been extremely slow which leads me to believe that this checklist was too hard for people.
