  10. Rare Datacron Location Guide Before beginning, you’ll need to be aligned with the Sith Empire, Level 50, and have three other friends with you. 1. Hop on a starship and get yourself to Alderaan. That’s where your quest will begin, and brother, prepare for a long one. Pick up an MGGS at a vendor in the Juran Mountains, which you’ll stumble upon south of King’s Pass. Head southeast in the Mountains until you find Outpost Talarn. Continue down the road south to find a vendor. His coordinates are X: 1885, Y: 204. Buy one MGGS, it’ll cost you 10,000 credits. 2. Next stop; Corellia. Get yourself to Axial Park, to the coordinates X: 684, Y: 34 south of Coronet Zoo. Look for an open shipping crate tilted toward the wall. Take the crystal, and you’re off to the next stop. 3. The Datacron Location itself is inside the Ziost Shadow, the northernmost of the ships in the Imperial Fleet. With the red crystal, an MGGS, and three friends, enter the Ziost Shadow. 4. Take off for the elevator and enter the Bridge Deck. In the Bridge Deck, make a turn and head north for the small circular elevator that takes you into a special Museum on the starship. 5. In the Museum, you’re going to need to die. That’s right, you need to die to continue. One way to accomplish that is by turning right as you enter the Museum and jumping into the exhibit. Remember, only the player with the red crystal needs to die. Anyway, in the little exhibit with the gun and target, look behind the target for a button. Press it and you’ll get blasted. 6. Choose to respawn in the Medical Center when you die, and you’ll appear on a ledge near a Republic Transport on display. Inside the Transport, there’s a console just right of the door to the cockpit. Activate that console, it’ll open the door just infront of the Republic Transport. 7.Jump down off that high ledge and make your way through the newly opened door. Run through this back hallway, following the wall left, until you reach a door leading behind the exhibit with a large blue crystal. Get near the crystal and click to collect it. 8. With the blue crystal in hand, return to the main Museum showroom. Across from the Republic Transport platform is another large platform with a Statue ontop. Climb some nearby crates to jump up to the statue, where you’ll see it has several buttons you can interact with. 9. Running towards it, fit your crystal into the empty slot on the right side, then click the button in the center. The forcefield to your right will drop, making it obvious where your next destination is. 10. Enter the newly available door and head through the passage. Down a ramp, you’ll find an obscured forcefield bridge to your left; leave one player at the bridge, while three other players continue into a control room further down the hall. 11. Inside the console room, you’ll find three consoles. Each do something different, but using all three at once will make the previously obscured bridge from before passable. Have one player stand at each console, then click simultaneously. 12. The player waiting at the bridge should rush across, you won’t have much time to cross before the bridge goes offline again. Across the bridge, you’ll find an identical control room that works in tandem with the previous control room. 13. Think of each computer console as a number; the left, right and center consoles are 1, 2, and 3 respectively. Once you’re across, have the player at console 3 wait at the bridge, while you take your place at the identical control room’s console 3, and hit all three at once. Repeat the process a few times to get everyone across. 14. This is when things get tricky. Across the bridge, you’ll need to find three Magnetic Stabilizers, and four buttons that need to be pressed simultaneously. 15. The the first buttons are down the railing, further down the path from the second control room. Jump down onto the black railing and follow it to the wall. For the first active Magnetic Stabilizer, look right and down. Another player can jump onto a nearby railing left and follow it around to the button. 16. Put two players in position at the first two buttons, then you can go looking for the second two buttons. The second two buttons can only be accessed by Magnetic Stabilizers, but both of the stabilizers are inactive until two players hit those first two buttons described above at the same time. Find the stabilizers first, then have the first two players hit their switches to activate them. 17. The two inactive Magnetic Stabilizers are tricky to find. The first, look directly up from the red central console looking out towards the bridge. Above you, and slightly left, look on the wall for an alcove above a large rectangular rail. 18. The second of these inactive Magnetic Stabilizers you can find just as you jump to the railing from the control room hallway. Hop down onto the railing, and immediately turn right and look straight down. You should spot a narrow railing leading to a larger one back around a corner right. Jump down and follow the path, turning right, then looking up and left for an alcove above with the inactive Magnetic Stabilizer. 19. With everyone in position, have the first two players activate their switches at the same time. The Magnetic Stabilizers will activate, and the second set of players can reach their own buttons. With all four players near four buttons, activate the second set of buttons at the same time. 20 Now, have everyone type in [/stuck] and you’ll all reappear in the control room below. Jump back down onto the main rail and look up and left at the large square structure. A new Magnetic Stabilizer point is active! Have everyone zip up to the tiny railing. It might get tricky, as this railing gets very crowded. 21. With everyone on the narrow ledge, you’ll see two Magnetic Stabilizer points. Just as you reach the ledge, turn left. Straight ahead is the door leading (FINALLY) to the Datacrons, but the Magnetic Stabilizer is inactive. To your right, you can see an active Stabilizer. Have one player use this active Stabilizer and hit the switch there. 22. With this final switch activated, the Magnetic Stabilizer above the door ahead will open. Have everyone zip across, open the door, run down the hallway, and open one more door for a short cutscene. Congratulations! What a ride. Also, i found this video on how to do it, it might help getting a visual on what your doing. Come play with me on Vrook Lamar, my main isDaltron on the republic side and on the imperial i have Zantaclaus

  12. I sure do hope so. i know when i first got onto the warzones it was a little bit difficult to purchase gear.
  13. Welcome to this quick guide to PvP gear in SW:TOR, allot of people have been asking for information on this topic, i did take us a little while to get our heads around the sheer amount of RNG in the PvP gearing system but once you get past it then all you can do is go with the flow. I’ve tried to cover every step in the gearing process below but if you think something is missing drop me a comment and ill sort out any changes. First off a few commonly asked questions are posted below: Q: Do the Sets have bonuses for multiple pieces being used? A: YES the sets do have set bonuses. You can’t see them in-game unless you attain a piece of the set which is annoying when deciding which to run with. There is a bonus for both the two and four set pieces and you can stack multiple two set bonuses from different sets which could prove useful for some classes, haven’t looked into this yet though. Q: Does using an upgraded/downgraded item remove my set bonus? A: Thankfully not no, all of the different tiers of the PvP gear share the same set bonus making upgrading gear or using a lesser item completely viable. I presume this was implemented due to the way gear is obtained through RNG and commendations making it hard to obtain a matching set until you have full Battlemasters. Q: Where do i buy the PvP Gear From? A: The vendors to buy the items are located at your faction’s respective hub (Republic Fleet/Imperial Fleet). They are across from the class trainers and have relevant symbols above them. Just take a look around and you’ll see them. Gearing for PvP in TOR is quite a different affair to any other MMO in the market at the moment, allot of gearing comes down to RNG luck as your going to be buying bags and getting either a piece of gear by way of a tradable item or some commendations which can then be turned in at relative amounts to purchase a desired item. For each epic PvP tier besides the first tier (Centurion), you have the choice of buying the items with commendations (Champion Commendations) or with tokens (Unassembled Champion Frontline Force Mainhand Weapon) Unassembled Centurions items do not drop from bags, these pieces are only obtainable through trading in Centurion commendations, this acts as a sort of baseline set of gear by which you use commendations you were given from bags should you be unlucky enough to not receive a Champions item. The unassembled pieces you get are completely random and you can get duplicates which is part and parcel of the systems annoyance especially if your looking to gear fast. However with the unassembled pieces you get to pick what item to buy that corresponds to the piece you get at least were not stuck with un wanted set items that will never get used. A big thing to remember when getting duplicates is you can STRIP ITEM MODS from duplicates and use them in moddable orange gear for PvP if you lack that slot the mods are 2 tiers higher than crafted epics and equate to lvl 52 item mods. Worth it when RNG sucks. The gear bags are unique, meaning you can only have one in your inventory at a time. Save up before 50 and grab one ready to open as you ding, also worthc apping merc commendations prior to 50. You can buy the Champion Gear Bags before level 50, but you cannot open them until you are level 50. They are also unique so you can only hold onto one at a time. The bags either give you 3 commendations from the previous tier, or 1 commendation from the previous tier and an unassembled item equal to the tier of the b It costs 200 Warzone Commendationsand 200 Mercenary Commendations to buy a Champion Gear Bag from the PvP vendor (located in the fleet hub, next to the PvP terminals) You also get the boxes from Warzone Dailies/Weeklies and Ilum Dailies/Weeklies – These can seriously speed up your gearing and hinder you if not done weekly and daily each daily provides one bag equivalent to farming 800 WZ commendations and each weekly gives multiple bags. Battlemaster Gear Bags Are needed for the top tier of PvP gear and con ONLY be obtained through dailies including the Warzone and Ilum Dailies/Weeklies. You can’t use them unless you are valor 60. You cannot buy these like you can the champion gear bags which slows the grind for end game gear considerably however after rank 60 its worth reverting your daily/weekly rewards to these as they drop centurion commendations Ok so i’ve done a few characters to 50 now and Ive refined an approach that i feel works well for me personally as a PvPer and Raid leader in PvE where i can utilize PvP gear to get a nice edge on the gearing curve. This assumes that you are already level 50 – You should already have 1,000 mercenary commendations and 1000 warzone commendations along with 1 epic bag stored. This allows you to open 6 Bags as soon as you hit 50, which will give you gear or if your really unlucky 18 commendations. If you find yourself capping commendations too often and you bought your 20 oranges and 40 oranges as you leveled then you can work on the 50 blue set found in the first joint planet you goto after exiting the starting areas. After 50 it’s relatively simple – make sure to grab your dailies and weeklies then start farming you need exactly 800 warzone commendations to trade in for enough merc to retain 200 wz and buy a bag. This is the farm process. Centurion Commendations are going to be a consolation prize for a long time if your RNG goes bad but don’t fret keep saving and i’d advise against spending them until you have got a fair few peices of PvP gear because you want to limit the duplicates you get to RNG item drops rather than buying a piece only to have it drop immediately from your next bag and be replaced. This pretty much amounts to the PvP grind, people have complained that it takes a long long time to gear but in reality it doesn’t take as long as you might think. Gearing SW:TOR is on par with most MMORPG games i’ve played and i think its the RNG factor that adds allot of un wanted stress when trying to fill the last slot and the fact you cant really pick and choose can be annoying at times. - Some original information take from Nyans PvP Gear Guide on Guard-this.com
  14. Bio chem is the crafting i will be focusing on today, in order to get the materials required to craft you will need a gathering skill (bio analysis) and a mission skill (Diplomacy) leveling up these skills takes a little bit of cash, but once you get around 250-300, it starts to pay off. in bio chem there are 4 main things you craft, med packs, adrenals, implants and stims. Hierarchy of leveling bio chem: Level Range Recipe Name Raw Material Amounts (Total) 1 to 20 Compact Medpac Green Goo 2 (40) - 20 to 40 Battle Fortitude Stim Green Goo 4 (80) - 40 to 60 Tech Surgeon Med Unit Green Goo 2 (40) Dielectric Cell Fiber 2 (40) - 60 to 80 Surgical Medpac Green Goo 2 (40) Bacterial Strain 2 (40) First Aid Kit 1 (20) - 80 to 100 Field Tech Command Stim Dielectric Cell Fiber 2 (40) Bacterial Strain 2 (40) Hypo-syringe 1 (20) - 100 to 120 Field Tech Fortitude Stim Microscopic Symbiote 2 (40) Luminescent Cell Culture 4 (80) Hypo-syringe 1 (20) - 120 to 140 Bio-Enhanced Med Unit Genetic Anomaly 2 (40) Luminescent Cell Culture 2 (40) First Aid Kit 1 (20) - 140 to 160 Specialized Medpack Genetic Anomaly 2 (40) Microscopic Symbiote 2 (40) First Aid Kit 1 (20) - 160 to 180 Bio-Enhanced Command Stim Toxic Extract 2 (40) Hallucinogenic Compound 4 (80) Hypo-syringe 1 (20) - 180 to 200 Bio-Enhanced Fortitude Stim Genetic Anomaly 4 (80) Unknown Microorganism 2 (40) Hypo-syringe 1 (20) - 200 to 220 Physician Med Unit Blue Goo 2 (40) Unknown Microorganism 2 (40) First Aid Kit 1 (20) - 220 to 240 Improved Medpac Cosmic Trace Particle 2 (40) Medicinal Fluid 2 (40) Unknown Microorganism 2 (40) First Aid Kit 1 (20) - 240 to 260 Optoelectronic Cardio System Cosmic Trace Particle 4 (80) Inert Virus 2 (40) Medicinal Fluid 2 (40) Double-Pulse Implant Processor 1 (20) - 260 to 280 Experimental Fortitude Stim Inert Virus 4 (80) Bio-Energy Cell Sample 2 (40) Hypo-syringe 1 (20) - 280 to 300 Experimental Med Unit Cosmic Trace Particle 2 (40) Inert Virus 2 (40) Bio-Energy Cell Sample 2 (40) First Aid Kit 1 (20) - 300 to 320 Advanced Medpac Nerve-Damaging Chemical 2 (40) Alien Bacteria 2 (40) Nutrient Gel 2 (40) First Aid Kit 1 (20) - 320 to 340 Psychotropic Reaction Implant Nerve-Damaging Chemical 2 (40) Advanced Power Implant Processor 1 (20) Nutrient Gel 4 (80) Parasitic Microorganism 2 (40) - 340 to 360 Advanced Fortitude Stim Nerve-Damaging Chemical 4 (80) Nutrient Gel 2 (40) Hypo-syringe 1 (20) Parasitic Microorganism 2 (40) - 360 to 380 Life Support Med Unit Psychoactive Compound 2 (40) Quick-Growth Agent 2 (40) First Aid Kit 1 (20) - 380 to 400 Ultimate Medpac Psychoactive Compound 2 (40) Quick-Growth Agent 2 (40) Red Goo 2 (40) First Aid Kit 1 (20) Total Material List Amount Green Goo 200 Dielectric Cell Fiber 80 Bacterial Strain 80 First Aid Kit 180 Hypo-syringe 120 Microscopic Symbiote 80 Luminescent Cell Culture 120 Genetic Anomaly 160 Toxic Extract 40 Hallucinogenic Compound 80 Unknown Microorganism 120 Blue Goo 40 Cosmic Trace Particle 160 Medicinal Fluid 80 Inert Virus 160 Double-Pulse Implant Processor 20 Bio-Energy Cell Sample 80 Alien Bacteria 40 Nerve-Damaging Chemical 160 Nutrient Gel 160 Parasitic Microorganism 80 Quick Growth Agent 80 Psychoactive Compound 80 Red Goo 40 Advanced Power Implant Processor 20
  15. I Dont think that will be good for the economy, some things should be BoP for a reason, having big ticket items like these for sale at control of players would be ruining the benefits of doing Raids. the GTN needs reform; just not this kind of reform.
  16. how long does it take to get a shadow from lvl 30 to 50? and what are the different bonusses between different pvp gear, like battlemaster, centurion, etc.
  17. I keep coming back, trying to learn a few tricks to be a better player. I never learn from my mistakes. Isn't it odd that we have two entirely different groups for SWTOR- the forums and the game? Team Play or Team Whine, take your pick...
