  1. Being Empire doesn't specifically mean you're joining the Dark Side. The Empire is commonly represented as the root of all evil but that is not the case. In war, there are always going to be two or more perspectives over opposing factions. If you chose to be evil, that is your own choice, not every Sith/Empire/Dark Jedi is necessarily evil. Everyone carves different paths and some may not agree with it. For example, the Jedi Order believes in peace of mind when it comes to freedom within the force. The Sith believe in harnessing your emotions to unlock the chains that bind you. It's all in a sense of perspective. (If you want to be technical about it....the Republic pretty much becomes the Imperial Empire from the original trilogy thousands of years later.)
  2. Honesty I think 3/3 is the best out of all them, and the addition of CD text was greatly appreciated as well.
  3. I'm not sure if a thread like this has already been posted, but maybe, just maybe BW could implement this in further expansions/patches. Personally, I would like BW to expand on the Space Combat in a way where it's mixed with the action packed combat of Rogue Squadron and the Tactical mindset of EVE. Add in a little bit of space exploration that could consist of free roam and fleet assigned missions to destroy the opposing faction's escorts and what not with the ability for players to board enemy ships which is one of the staples of the Star Wars Universe. These would of course carry on to PvP, boarding flagships and dogfighting would be epic PvP combat. This is just a few things I wanted to share. Feel free to add on to it or add your own ideas for content.
  4. I'm not sure if a thread like this has already been posted, and yes I'm too lazy to do a search but feel free to jot down ideas here and maybe, just maybe. BW could implement them in further expansions/patches. As far as Space PvP would go, it would take the same concept above with more of a Rogue Squadron flare. Capital ships would be restricted to guilds who could afford them. This is just a few things I wanted to share. Feel free to add on to it or add your own ideas for content.
  5. No I was saying that people need to realize that when any MMO launches, there are going to be a lot of things people will like/dislike, when I said WoW was crap at launch I meant that compared to how it is now and how further updates/patches/expansions can dramatically change an MMO's gameplay.
  6. True, but I did enjoy Warhammer's RVR. It somewhat reminded me of DAOC.
  7. If Mythic is designing the PVP, in my opinion, then it should be fine. Mythic designed the best PVP I've ever had a chance to be a part of. RvR in Dark Age of Camelot was PVP at its finest.
  8. nothing wrong with that. There's good money in it, if you win.
  9. And I understand that, I can live with the current features but that is my own opinion as yours is your own as well.
  10. Some of the MMO communities care about whether or not their server-mates are enjoying the game or not, thus casting doubt wondering if he/she will enjoy the game towards its endgame based on another's opinion. It's psychological, but it's the truth if you like to pay attention to player reviews and the like.
  11. Not sure if this happens to you but on my server there are those few that run around purposely with intent to pulling dozens of mobs in order for your group to fail, while shouting out how much WoW is better and so on and so forth. Basically, player harassment from others that have given up on TOR in-game.
  12. I do understand your valid opinions but in no way am I trying to sway anyone into the same boat I'm in. This is all a matter of my own opinion and thoughts, I guess this entire post was mostly directed to those that strongly dislike the game and ruin it for people that enjoy it.
  13. I am not here to defend the multi-million dollar company. I'd just hate to see a game that has very good potential to stand up against WoW to go down with all the others. I don't necessarily mean TOR is going to be a WoW killer, I don't expect it to but it has potential to be able to hold its own.
